Would give zero stars if we could for their Will writing and LPA services
We started the process of writing our Wills, setting up a Trust and registering LPAs in May 2025 and we still have not completed the process and it now Oct 2026.
Our first appointment via a TEAMS call was very good. The Co-Op representative was personable and informative. However he was just a great salesman that talked a very good game. Since then we have been back and forth numerous times.
In addition, they charged approximately £3k, which we believe is not proportional to the amount of "work" they have completed and the amount of legwork, stress and frustration caused to us. We are pretty sure your local solicitors would far cheaper.
We would NOT recommend using their services to anyone. Please consider a local reputable solicitor whare you can meet face to face in a local office or they could come to your home.
We chose Co-op because they are a well know, reputable company but we feel we have been conned out of a substantial amount of money for a very poor service.
Avoid at all costs.

Held a meeting over M. S. Teams and advisor confirmed process and previously filled online forms. Advisor gave useful info regarding setting up estate outgoings as percentages instead of values in case of unforeseen outgoings due to care needs etc.

Very personable experience
Very personable experience with the coop probate services. Liam O our case manager was excellent, very supportive, diligent and always willing to help. He provided excellent feedback and communication on how things were going through the process meaning I was able to focus on other aspects of the process.

Positive Probate Process
My experience has been positive from the intial conversation to quote for the work, all the way through the probate process. Referrals to Co-Op in-house teams to support with contention, and practical home clearance/maintenance issues made the process really easy for me, and costs were clearly quoted and tracked. Particular thanks to our Case Manager James Daly, who was responsive by phone and email, always constructive, swift to solve problems and a pleasure to work with.
