We didn’t realise the top would be wavy (rather than flat) but was reassured by Steve that this is what made the Sara table 3D and unique. Absolutely no issue, we just use place mats. Extremely Disappointing Experience – Misleading Stock Info & Poor Service
We ordered a 2m Thor dining table from Coku Home on 4th June, advertised as “in stock and available for delivery within 2 days”. Before ordering, we even confirmed that we could select a delivery date after our house move, and were told this wouldn’t be an issue.
The day after ordering, we were told that “coincidentally” the last table had just been sold and the next stock wouldn’t arrive for 4 weeks. Frustrating, but manageable as we weren’t moving until early July.
Unfortunately, things only got worse:
No proactive updates – I had to chase multiple times for information.
After being told early July, then early August, the date was pushed to mid-September – almost 3 months after ordering!
We were offered a £60 refund for the inconvenience, which felt like an insult considering the delays and broken promises.
When I spoke with Steve on the phone, he did apologise but kept saying the delays were due to factors out of his control, with the shipping route having to take a different path and adding further delays.
Eventually, I had to settle for a smaller 1.75m table they had in stock just to have something in our new home, which was finally delivered on 1st August.
The bench we ordered arrived without bolts, meaning another trip to buy missing parts (thankfully this was reimbursed).
To be fair, the table itself is fantastic and we are very happy with it, but the overall experience was stressful, misleading, and extremely disappointing for a brand that markets itself as premium.
What concerns me most is that Coku’s website only shows 5-star reviews, which does not reflect reality. When I checked Trustpilot, I saw similar complaints from other customers, so this isn’t an isolated case.
If buying, I would proceed with caution.

We would like to provide some context for anyone reading this review.
Before ordering, you contacted us via chat to confirm delivery times. At that point the 2 m Thor dining table was showing as in stock, but the very last piece sold prior to you placing your order. Orders are always dispatched in the order in which they come in. We contacted you to let you know straight away, updated the listing to pre-order the same day and offered options — to cancel with a full refund, choose another item, or wait for the next shipment.
Unfortunately the incoming shipment was delayed by circumstances outside of our control (changes to the shipping route and port congestion). We stayed in contact throughout, apologised and offered compensation for the inconvenience.
You mentioned you were moving house in July; the 1.75 m table was available for immediate delivery in early June and you decided to take that option in late July, which we delivered on the 1st of August. The bench arrived missing bolts — that was our oversight and we reimbursed you in full. A total of £220 in discounts were provided for your order.
We’d also like to clarify that our website does not only display 5-star reviews. Our Trustpilot profile currently shows around 88 % 5★ reviews, with the remainder being made up of 4★, 3★, 2★ 1★ — the same mix is reflected on our site. Customer service is extremely important to us.
We do our best to keep stock levels accurate across several sales channels, but on rare occasions an item can sell out just before the system updates. When this happens we contact customers immediately to explain and offer alternatives. Our items are hand made in small batches and are not mass produced.
We’re genuinely sorry that delivery delays caused frustration. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to work on making communication and lead-time accuracy even better. We wish you all the best and if you have any concerns, feel free to reach out. Enjoy your table and bench set!

Great table, sits 6 comfortably. Lovely quality. Only downside is we never received any assembly instructions so we had to guess our way for putting it together. Not overly complicated but not great to have to do that.

Coku has been great they have kept us informed with regards delivery, the delivery men were so lovely and they even had a wee treat for my dog. The table is unreal, solid wood we bought the 1 metre table as we have a small kitchen and it fits us four around with plenty of room

Late delivery
Ordered Sunday 24th August and it had stated that would be delivered by Friday 29th, come the Wednesday I got am email to book a delivery which the first available slot was Monday 1st September which was fine I then got rid of my old table and chairs over the weekend in preparation for delivery on the Monday. Come the Monday I received another email to say the order had not reached the delivering depot on time and that I had to book another delivery, earliest being the 4th of September. So hopefully I will have the order then and don’t have to wait any longer
