Faulty kit installed no response.…
I was a previous customer for solar panels and agreed to upgrade with a "Tesla" battery. It was installed in April and is working fine. Unfortunately, the Solar iBoost unit for hot water is already showing faulty. They are not responding to emails or 'phone calls. It looks like they've shut up business. 'very disappointed and annoyed.

Radio silence - Administration?
The sales process was slick, built my confidence. After signing the contract, and receiving the grant for a heat pump to replace my boiler I have heard nothing. Initially I received holding email responses, now nothing... radio silence and it is impossible to get through to any of the various 01704 phone numbers, nobody returns my calls or emails. I assume they have gone into administration but I cant find this information anywhere online - worrying/frustrating/disappointing situation, to the extent I am writing my first ever review

Recently contacted about a retro fit…
Recently contacted about a retro fit battery for my solar that they installed 10 years ago.
Transferred deposit and pre-installation survey booked foe two days later. Informed I could cancel upto the day before installation.
Contacted day before pre-installation survey to say they do not need to come as they have my installation information from 10 years ago and when do I want battery installing. Informed that combi boiler been installed since solar installed. Informed she would get back to me.
Pre-installation came and when, no show.
Emailed them informing I wished to cancel and request refund of my deposit, asked for confirmation. I did not receive anything.
I have been unable to speak to anyone as it always goes to answer machine and no one gets back to you.
Emailed to individuals and I have received notification they have read in but still no contact made and no refund made.
Now a week since I Informed them and I not received any communication from EEC.

Quick update EEC SOLAR are also not an accredited solar company anymore so you have no back.Have to go through trading standards
Had EEC SOLAR INSTALL SOLAR HEATING ON OUR ROOF 3 YEARS AGO THEY HAD A THIRD-PARTY FIT THE UNIT WHICH TOOK FOREVER DIDN'T WORK FOR 7 MONTHS HAD TO COME BACK AND FIT PART ON THE ROOF WE HAD TO SCAFFOLD ROOF AGAIN.
NOW THE WATER TANK IS LEAKING THEY WANT £300 TO COME AND LOOK AT IT TO TELL US IT'S LEAKING. SENT TELFORD COPPER AND STAINLESS CYLINDERS LIMITED A VIDEO THEY SAID YES IT'S THEIR TANK THAT'S LEAKING PLEASE CLAIM UNDER 25-YEAR WARRANTY SPOKE TO EEC THEY TOLD US IT IS COVERED UNDER 25-YEAR WARRANTY CYLINDER PEOPLE NOW SAY IS NOT COVERED BECAUSE IT WASN'T REGISTERED BY EEC. WE HAVE A PIPE THROUGH THE CEILING NOW TO A BUCKET FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS HAVING TO KEEP EMPTYING EVERY 24 HOURS. EEC ARE NOW NOT RESPONDING TO EMAILS WHEN THEY DO REPLY IS THE SAME AUTOMATED EMAIL SAYING WE NEED TO PAY £300 WE ONLY WANT TO KNOW HOW TO ISOLATE THE TANK WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE AS EVERY ISOLATION TAP I TURN OFF TURNS THE HOT WATER OFF TO THE WHOLE HOUSE. SO WE WILL HAVE TO GO TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT NOW AND CLAIM BACK COSTS Absolutely USELESS

Have been dealing with this company for a while and discussing the system. Finally went ahead last week and delighted to find that today was a possible install date. Very pleased with the team of guys that arrived and carried out the work in less than a day. Friendly bunch. More than happy to recommend them .

Solar Battery
We purchased 18 solar panels in 2011 and re contacted the same company for information about installing a solar battery in May 2024. They responded quickly and the advise we received was very thorough and easy to understand. The installation was excellent. We would recommend the company without hesitation.

Right advised for Solar Panels
I am impressed with Craig's knowledge who is honest in his opinion to say what will work and how it will work. Really customer connected and at the same time wanted to sell something in a right way. Talking to Craig I will definately recommend his company to my friend and family. Faith restored
Second install from EEC. Installation went well. Installer worked hard all day, leaving working battery storage system. Had to contact customer support to resolve alarms and answer a few queries. This took some time, but have now got direct support from the boss and a firmware update fixing alarms. Hopefully remaining queries resolved very soon.

After sales service
The engineer arrived at the specified time and immediately set to work checking the wiring of the system to find why it tripped every day thus requiring re-setting every morning. Since investigating (and resolving the issue), the system has worked without issue and Tim Hillman has continued to maintain his interest in ensuring that no further faults arise.
In total a company with service levels that are rarely met and more rarely complimented.

First class service
We recently have had a retro fitted Battery and accompanying inverter and wiring by EEC.The company were first class from Craig Ball customer advisor to John Ball and his brother River who installed the equipment all were most professional.The installation is neat and works very well the supplied equipment all appears of very good quality and design and fit for purpose.The original solar panels were fitted by EEC who from my experience are a very efficient and reliable company.

Very professional
Very professional and Aiden explained everything so even I could understand it ..installation was done within a few hours with no mess ..started to see a reduction in my bill by 57% in instantly...only problem has been the paperwork from the dno which is taking a while
