Excellent customer service. I placed an order for next day delivery and quickly realised I’d forgotten something. Phoned, answered quickly and no problem adding to my order even though it hadn’t been logged on their system yet. All items arrived at 9am the following day. Happy with the price for what I ordered, I wouldn’t normally pay for next day delivery (£11) but I needed my items next day so happy to pay on this occasion. Would highly recommend Empress Mills.

Excellent service. Can’t recommend enough. They couldn’t fulfil my order, so kept it on back order. I decided to alter the order and they were more than happy to oblige. Very helpful, polite, and professional, especially when it required getting in contact with me. Big thank you to them.

Very pleased with the service I received from Empress Mills after an order hadn't arrived and had to be presumed lost in the post. Their postage charge is very reasonable too, and the quality of the fabric I purchased is superb.

A little slow with delivery...... however very friendly and helpful staff and fantastic prices for quality products with a very low flat rate postage charge. Just about to place my 5th order with them.

Poor customer service no communication or updates on order I placed in February and still chasing in May. Will not be using again !

Having read some negative reviews on Trustpilot I have had nothing but a good experience since I started purchasing from them last year during Lockdown and communication has been great. I am now a convert to online fabric shopping with the choice and good quality fabric available I will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you

Dreadful - placed an order, no email to acknowledge and no update after waiting 14 days. Sent an email enquiry and by some miracle it was posted last Friday - 6 days ago. They are blaming the post that it has not arrived. No apology, no suggestion of any sort to make this better. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Still waiting for my order so have no idea if the quality will be OK. Will never shop with them again. You have been warned.

Update - after another try the faulty section of material was eventually refunded.

Fabric arrived eventually after I phoned to chase it up. It's quite nice quality BUT there is a flaw in the fabric where the dye has not taken. The order should never have been sent out like that, a new piece should have been cut. I have emailed them with an image but received no reply. Really disappointing service. Will not buy from them again.

I ordered fabric from this company and it arrived 4 days later, all present and correct. The Egyptian cotton pieces were all of usable size, some quite large and beautiful quality. I read bad reviews after I’d ordered and was anxious but no problems. I didn’t receive a confirmation email which I’m used to getting from other companies but it wasn’t a problem as I could see my order on my dashboard on their site.

The only place that I can get Black Softshell at the minute - I need it for my business.

Ordered for the first time on the 11th Feb. Received today 22nd Feb. Rang after a week....mainly because I was worried after reading alot of bad reviews. I got a quick polite response on the phone. It was £1.50 postage cost so can't expect very fast shipping. I was happy with the time taken for the price I paid. Lovely fleece fabric too. Many thanks

I was nervous about buying from Empress Mills having read the terrible reviews, but I fell in love with one of their fabrics and so took the plunge. Just to redress the balance of the feedback, my transaction was entirely trouble-free and I am delighted with the fabric. I did give them a gentle chase after a week or so. I immediately received back the most apologetic response (even though it wasn't actually late) and a dispatch confirmation came later that day.

My order arrived today, 12 days after ordering. I am perfectly happy with that since the website said 10-14 days. I was phoned and offered a substitute for an out of stock item. I am very pleased with the service and communication from this company. Will def order from them again.

Chased an order by email after patiently waiting for delivery only to be told it was out of stock. No response to my following two emails, only received a reply once I posted through the website. They may be a family business and it may be a difficult time but customers should feel confident when spending their money that it will be fulfilled. I am still waiting for my refund. Slow delivery would be accepted with communication, but this is starting to feel fraudulent now.

Take no notice of negative comments. This is a family business run in the worst of times and I’ve always found them to be helpful and obliging, the products excellent and just you try to find that flat postage charge elsewhere! The orders do take more time but then, they’re not A*m*z*o*! Good luck to them and try to be patient!

I ordered fabric 11 days ago. My account said that the order was being processed all the time. The website did state that it could be 10 days before the order was sent. I rang this morning to see when I would receive the order only to be told that 1 of the fabrics was out of stock. Why sell something and receive payment when it is not in stock. I now have to source the fabric somewhere else but so much easier if they had taken it off the site earlier. Not a happy customer.
