There is a vast range of fair trade, ethical and eco products available, all delivered promptly in planet friendly packaging. The website is easy to navigate and I place frequent orders throughout the year for food, clothing, gifts, toiletries and cleaning materials.

I placed quite a large order of a variety of 5 litre bottles of cleaning products. They arrived packed on top of one another, resulting in the handles of four of the bottles being indented. I was a bit surprised that better care had not been taken in the packing but didn't worry too much as the product would still be useable. I stored them away for later use. Some weeks later, I discovered that the plastic dented handles had become weakened, causing the plastic to split. I was left with pools of washing-up liquid on a wooden floor. Not to mention the lost product, it was very difficult to get washing-up liquid off a wooden floor. I also had to find empty 5 litre bottles to pour the liquid oozing onto the floor into. I emailed Ethical Superstore and received an apologetic reply. My disappointment is in the fact that no remedy has been offered, as in not even a small gesture for loss etc. They misssed an opportunity to easily put things right but have chosen not to. I will hesitate to use Ethical Superstore again

This is simple, I can find the type of food (organic) that I want to buy, so far in quantity at an agreeable price. In todays world that has value and appreciation.

As ever this is an excellent provider with an easy to use website, wide range, fair prices and reliable delivery service.

Very quick and efficient delivery. I like that Ethicalsuperstore do not send a plethora of unwanted marketing emails.

I make regular orders with Ethical Superstore and am happy with the experience. There is a good range of environmentaly friendly products. The deliveries are always in good time and well wrapped. The minimum spend for free postage is a little high and it would encourage more shoppers if this was reduced.

Great company. You can find so much in their store that is ethically sourced. Sent swiftly with Hermes. Have recommended to family and friends

(UPDATED BELOW: PAID FOR GOODS 23/11/21, STILL NO REFUND AS OF 07/01/22 but got voucher code.) Losing faith in Ethical Superstore. Order worth £73.72 was due to be delivered 26th November 2021 by HERMES (says it all) but was rescheduled to next day for no reason - I have not seen or heard from Hermes since. I emailed Ethical Superstore on 2nd December who replied on 8th December to say they would investigate and had emailed Hermes. I had no reply so I had to chase Ethical. Can't speak to Hermes and their 'chat' is automated, both of which should be illegal. I guess my elf socks won't be here for Christmas... UPDATE - due to my review, got call from Ethical on 21/12/21. Hermes lost parcel, Ethical will refund me in full & sent me £10 voucher.

I placed an order for Christmas presents. Website says they use DPD but actually it’s Hermes so I knew the delivery would be bad. Apparently the parcel was delivered and left in a safe place. The photo looked like an up close shot of someone’s hand. I looked everywhere for the parcel, walking all round the block but it’s not anywhere to be found. I phoned Ethical Superstore and I was told by a rude and humourless individual that they would get back to me within 48 hours once they have spoken to Hermes. I explained I need the items before the weekend because they’re Christmas gifts that I need to wrap and deliver. Silence, not even an apology for the inconvenience. Hermes website indicates they are delivering today, so presumably they didn’t actually deliver yesterday but there’s been no update from Ethical Superstore. Won’t be ordering from them again if this is how little their customers mean to them.

Update - parcel arrived. Hermes didn’t ring the bell, they never do but at least it was left on the doorstep. Contents a little battered. Called to ask if one item could be replaced and to my astonishment it was dealt with in a friendly manner. A new one on next day delivery with DPD and they didn’t want the damaged one returned. It is probably enough to turn my opinion around completely which is why I’ve changed my review to 3 stars.

I ordered as Xmas gift 13 tinned meals. Because the tins were put loose into a plastic delivery bag, 11 of the 13 are dented squashed, or crushed. I’ve been waiting for 2 days for a response to my emailed complaint and website contact.

Choice, ordering process and speed all fine. Delivery left out in rain for two days however! Luckily nothing damaged.

My order was confirmed right away and I was updated throughout until delivery.

Ethical Superstore has a great range and is always good value compared to competitors. This order was all correct, it arrived quickly and all the packaging was sustainable.

Im a long term and loyal customer, with good reason.

In these pressured times of multiple choices and ethical sensitivities, shopping can become even more fraught an activity: making sure you’re not supporting oppressive regimes or companies with poor employee conditions. Ethical Superstore has become my first Go-To for household items and groceries. A very fair price and they’ve done the research so I only have to make choices. Thank you ES!
