Beautiful suite well worth the money

Ordered and came on date i asked for. delivery men where friendly and delivered to room i wanted.the table and chairs are of good quality. Only thing was chairs are a bit fiddley to put together.

Items (table & 2 chairs) didn’t arrive on day/time stated, no phone call to inform me.
Paint chip on one of the chair legs.
Difficult to secure tightly if you are elderly and arthritic.
I thought I had ordered the grey tabletop, received wood.
On the plus side the delivery men were very good as were the young women I spoke to on the phone. The table and chairs did look nice once all was assembled.

I had mistakenly clicked for the chairs to be held for 6 weeks and when I contacted about this my query was dealt with instantly, resolved and the chairs arrived 2 days later. Already purchased the previous set of dining chairs from here and was very happy with them so when I changed my colour scheme I ordered the same. Good delivery instructions and timeframes. Good customer service.

We bought the Hudson extending dining table and 6 Bewley chairs. The chairs are ok but the table is a disgrace. The listing is misleading as it has a coma missing in the description. Instead of writing ‘Natural Oak finished, solid hardwood’, it actually reads ‘Natural Oak finished hard wood. This way makes it more obvious that the oak finished effect is only surface and not solid oak hardwood. The effect is in fact, finished in a dovetail effect and I counted 36 of these scattered over the top of the table. Who makes a table with a finish that looks like a load of packing cases glued together? The ‘effect’ also chips and scratches easily, through every day use, and not excessive. Would I buy this table again? Would I heck as like. We complained to the Furniture & Choice and they arranged for an independent company to come and inspect it, and whilst the guy who came agreed with everything I said and also took a load of photos so he had evidence of the poor quality, he returned to his company and when it was discussed with Furniture & Choice, they were told that he couldn’t see anything wrong with the table. He actually admitted that he’d never seen a dovetail finish on a table top before to me.
One final thing….the photo on their website isn’t what you buy. Where the legs join the obviously visible underside of the table, there are 4 large holes where the legs are screwed in. On the website there are no holes. We have not been offered anything positive from the company. Keep clear of this company!
