As ordered, fits great, well made...heavy!!!
Brackets (wall) the openings on these are too small for M8 bolts or anchors, so I had to grind then wider. I didn't use supplied bolts.
The instructions for fitting the stays are non existent. If you mount them too high, they will not work correctly, foul on the frame. mounting lower results in screws penetrating the frame and being visible rather than being hidden in the frame box section (however these are not visible from the outside).
I would suggest that the mounting holes on the stays (main frame side) are moved up, allowing the mount to be screwed lower without the visible screws.

The door is excellent. Delivery was great. A couple of design details could be better. The lock and handle design seems a compromise. I need to modify these to make it fit. Maybe the instructions are unclear but it seems my options are not fully compatible with the door. However I am delighted with the look and the quality

Staff are really helpful and friendly on the phone and by email. Doors arrived well packed and immaculate. I can't fault them and highly recommend!

On delivery the doors themselves looked perfect. Only on installation a week or so later did an issue become apparent. The latch striker plate been incorrectly positioned during initial assembly with holes drilled in the wrong position, where the latch would not be able to operate. Someone had then drilled more mounting holes for the striker so that it would sit skewed in an attempt to get the latch to operate. This bodge made correcting the original mistakes much more difficult. The striker plate at this position also could not allow the doors to close flush. Fortunately both my contractor and myself are experienced Engineers and we were able to create a solution.

Door quality and all associated the door itself was perfect. A word of warning. If you are building a new home and want to claim back the VAT you need two separate invoices, one for the manual version of the door and one for the automatics. G.D.O. will not give you a breakdown after you have bought the door, taking this into consideration it would have been a lot cheaper to have bought the same door from a local installer and had it installed.
Furthermore, the after sales service is non existent. My installer had an issue with the motor package. We asked G.D.O. if we could buy a replacement, the answer was NO. Thank goodness that the manufacturer Teckentrup look after their customers a bit better, I was able to buy a complete automation package for a reasonable price.
So all in all product great, customer care / service not so good.

Ordered on line. The fitter collected it, fitted it and took my old one away.

Was kept up to date on dispatch times and my garage doors were delivered at the time I was told, the doors were heavy but the driver went above and beyond to put them where needed so that I could fit them the following day.
The doors are well made, fairly easy to fit if you follow the instructions, I’m very happy with my new garage doors.

Reason for 5 stars - easy to order online. I ordered a Hormann roller door T in a graphite grey. It was made in Germany and delivered within a month. I am a competent installer and installation was relatively easy. On commissioning, a fault was showing on the control panel and I asked them to review photos and video of the fault. This was dealt with in 20 mins. Fault was rectified. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

We purchased an electric roller garage door to fit on behalf of a client & needed quite a bit of technical support prior to placing the order. The team were very helpful, explaining details thoroughly where needed. The ordering process was excellent - speedy, streamlined and exactly as they said it would be from the start.
