Whilst looking for a pair of walking shoes, assistant Jonathan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the shoes. Have bought from this shop before and always been well treated.

I recently purchased the OEX roof tent from this store. The guy that I spoke to was so lovely and helpful with all my questions and concerns. Unfortunately there wasn’t any way of me transporting it back home other than it going straight onto my roof bars. Tim and James were very helpful (although not being able to help fit due to insurance policies) they were so patient and helpful with guidance towards myself, my partner and friend (3 females, who know nothing about cars or any sort of camping 🤣)
Will definitely travel the additional 57miles to shop in this store rather than my local. Both of these gentlemen are a credit to your team and deserve recognition.

I visited the Taunton store on Sunday, which was very busy, to purchase a gas cylinder for my new pizza oven. I had no idea what I needed and Nathan H was incredibly patient and helpful, I even had to call my teens at home to get some of the information to ascertain I was buying the correct gas. Nathan helped me through and we had pizza’s for dinner as planned! He was very friendly and thorough and given that if I’d left with the wrong product it would be non refundable, he made sure that didn’t happen. Brilliant customer service, polite, insightful, patient and friendly Nathan- thank you!
The only thing I will say and this had nothing to do with Nathan - another member of staff, a young lady, was radioing getting agitated she was on the till and asking if he had finished his break, Nathan confirmed he hadn’t gone for break yet and was serving, she then questioned him about where he was, which he confirmed he was in aisles and was serving, she then moaned that she didn’t want to be stuck on the till. Nathan promptly turned the radio down so she didn’t interfere further. It was actually quite bullish and rather rude considering it’s over a radio and the customer can hear, she wasn’t speaking particularly kindly to him.
10/10 for Nathan but the young lady needs further training in her work and general attitude. Because of my experience with Nathan I am still giving 5 stars.

As always great for a quick shopping and easy with everything else. Jonathan was very helpful throughout while even answering all the questions that I had. Great location, got lots of parking outside the store.

The boots that I ordered were delivered speedily.

Normally have everything you need for camping looking a bit empty in the back of Taunton store but staff were very helpful 👍

Had a problem with a tent, Stu and Nikki sorted it immediately. Great service.

Jame’s was super helpful, fitted my daughters walking boots for DofE with great knowledge and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thankyou!

Have really struggled to find walking boots to fit as have arthritis in feet.Was helped by Jonathan in Taunton store, very knowledgeable, understood the problem, knew the products well and talked to me about the ones that were worth a try and the reasons why. Found a perfect pair. Service was exemplary! I incidentally I had previously been to another specialist shop local to me that always had a good reputation, however customer service and knowledge of products here was not a patch on what was provided by Jonathan. Give him a pay rise!

Ordering straight forward, swift delivery. Plus one item must've been out of stock and was refunded immediately.

Still not had confirmation that my order is ready. I had to phone Customer Services, wait for ages listening to various options until finally getting to speak to someone. Apparently my order is ready and a text sent to my phone. No it was not.
Now have to make another trip to Taunton. Not impressed

Our first visit to go outdoors in Taunton and what a friendly bunch of staff work there from buying camping equipment ie tent and everything we are going to to need for our very first camping trip. This was made very easy thanks to Nathan H being honest and very informative
About all the equipment we are going to need fingers crossed we enjoy camping lol If this store has employee of the month he should certainly should get it because he deserves it

We arrived in store and quickly found out that they didn’t have what we wanted however that’s when I found Dan and Nathan H. I asked them if they had anything similar of which they showed me straight away. I was very fussy and didn’t like the first double chair they showed me. Then Dan suggested I take a look at the outwell double chair which I loved! They then advised me I could just my single discount from caravan and motorhome or do the deal of buy one get one half price. With their advice and help again I settled for one of the kitchen units but could only have the one on display which they then packed away and took to the till for me.
Both were so helpful and would highly recommend! Thanks guys for satisfying a very stubborn set in her ways woman!

Ordered two x pairs of waders for choice with Internet quick and simple returned to store one pair and refund sorted via store.

I was lucky to have Jonathan to myself when buying walking boots. That's the benefit of going in during the week when it's quiet. His knowledge was invaluable in making my choice of boots. He knows a lot, and this is the sort of knowledge you don't get from online shopping. Thank you!
