Past orders have been great-My current order was a pre-order from October 2021, and should have arrived in May-tomato plants for Iowa. Im running out of time to get them in the ground, and it's 6-13-22. Submitted ticket 6 days ago and no word. I love your plants, but where are they?

Beautiful Heliotrope, excellent Customer Service resolution!!

I ordered 5 fragrant delight heliotrope plants and 1 lavender herb plant. I received 5 ivy plants and 1 lavender herb plant. Grow Joy sent me 5 gorgeous, healthy Fragrant Delight Heliotrope plants. Mistakes happen, I am very impressed at how quickly Grow Joy resolved this. I will be buying many more plants from them. I highly recommend Grow Joy to one and all!!

FRAUD

This is the worst place to get anything from. IT’S A SCAMMMMM… do not order from here. I’m a caregiver and my client was really sick and she forgets things from time to time and she made a mistake with an order and these people won’t even reply back or call her. This is an elderly woman we are talking about Grow joy should be ashamed of yourselves. I will keep spreading the word.

2 years in a row I ordered French…

2 years in a row I ordered French Tarragon! This year again they screwed me! It didn't look healthy so they didn't ship it! Took forever to respond to my ticket! Now again I have purchase points! I don't think they have it at all!! Going to file a fraud complaint!

Hello Vince. I just looked at your past orders with our company and the last time you purchased French Tarragon was May of last year. There was an problem with that crop and we did issue Reward Points back onto your account for you to use as cash off on your next purchase, which you then used on an order you placed in September of last year. Pleasantly Surprised

My plants arrived in a timely manner through Fedex. Plants look as healthy as a plant could for traveling in a box for a few days. All of them were strong, standing upright and healthy when I planted them. I am only giving 4 stars because I just received my first order from them.

The plants themselves were fine but the customer service is terrible. 3 of my plants weren't shipped with my order and there's been no word. I contacted them twice to try and figure it out but no one ever got back to me. Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for future purchases for me

Amazing plans I received today

Amazing plans I received today! They were packed so well and they look so healthy. I was unsure by the other reviews put out there. But I am now a customer. Thank You Growjoy for the great quality plants for my Autistics son's garden.

Received wrong plants - quickly replaced

Ordered plants and they came on time but had wrong plants. Filled out an incident ticket. They sent the correct plants very quickly - within a week. Plants were very healthy and larger than I had expected. Loved both the wrong plants and the correct plants.

Beautiful plants shipped carefully in…

Beautiful plants shipped carefully in special containers that protected each branch and bud! Not one stem was bruised of petchoas or petunias. The plants showed no sign of stress, the growing medium was intact and moist. I will definitely be a GrowJoy customer again.

Can we please NOT, order from these people…. I ordered this huge flower combo as per the photo but I received a tiny little bunch of leaves, no type of even label to know which one is which…. Just disgusting!!!!

Gina, I am sorry to hear of the delivery of this plant with no tag. We do trim up our plants from time to time to keep them in good shape for shipment. This process only makes a nice plant when the flush out. The photos on our site is what a full, mature plant looks like when they are transplanted. Fraudulent business practices

I ordered 10 plants in March 2022 with guaranteed shipping mid May 2022. However, only 9 of the plants in my order were shipped. As their instructions specified, I started a ticket within 24 hours, never received confirmation email they promised, and only received a response 5 days later. They apologized and added reward points to my account, and offered a free shipping code. However, after logging in, I noticed that the plant I had ordered is now out of stock.

After reading other reviews on BBB, it appears that this is a very common occurrence. They promise guaranteed shipping dates and a satisfaction guarantee, but appear to often ship orders missing plants, and do not contact the customer. Either they had a horribly mismanaged shipping department, or they intentionally do this whenever they do not have sufficient stock to ship. Rather than offer to send out the originally ordered plant immediately, they have you place the order yourself, and navigate their rewards program blindly. Or, simply offer a refund to the billed credit card.

The apparent frequency of this issue (shown by reviews on BBB) suggests that this is something have either accepted or built into their business model; If the suitable plant is not available to ship, pretend like it was all a mistake - and assume most customers will either not notice or bother following up.

This aligns with a few other misleading business practices:
-their product reviews on their website appears to be cherrypicked - only displaying 5 star, glowing reviews for any product.
-satisfaction guaranteed, but no customer service phone number

Note on plants - they all arrived securely packed and in great shape, but were much smaller than I had hoped for. Overall in better shape than some garden center plants, but much smaller than something of equivalent price - where you know what you will get and when.

Thank you for reaching out on your order. I am sorry it took us 5 days to respond to your initial ticket about your missing plant. This time of year is very busy and we are running a bit behind. Please allow me to explain about your missing plant. Since you said it is back in stock I will assume it was a vegetable plant. Each week we have a new crop of veggies and when you preorder you are assigned a particular shipping week that is based on your area. Your order cannot be pulled from any other week, so if there is a problem with a particular variety in that particular week, we have no choice but to cancel and add reward points or do a refund. Once your preorder week has pasted, all new orders can be placed for the next week. That is when you may see the same variety that was not available the preceding week now available again. Because we have so many varieties there are times that we may have a poor germinating variety. Unfortunately when something does not germinate properly for a particular week we do not have enough time to reseed for that particular week, which is why we have to occasionally cancel some plants. This year we have had more varieties than normal that has been having issues, which has led to an above average amount of canceled plants. While we do everything we can to purchase good seed, sometimes particular varieties simply go back somewhere between the grower and use receiving them to start our seeding processes here. I am glad to see the rest of your order arrived in good condition and I am confident they will grow well and give you a bountiful harvest. If this reply does not explain things plainly enough, please reply to your last ticket and ask for Joe to respond. I place three orders with this company…

I place three orders with this company and they did not send all the plants I ordered. I did receive points on their account for one of the plants they did not send which required me to just buy more plants from them for one of the plants I bought from them. The second plant I order they stated on the email shipment confirmation it was being sent when the order arrived the plant was not included they did not respond to my emails or attempt a refund. Please buy your plants from other places this company does not honor the customer and you will mostly not get the plants you order from them

Horrible service

Horrible service. 25% of my order is missing and there is no customer service number, just a customer contact email box and after 5 days still no response and the tomato plants that did arrive were in horrible condition! will never again use GrowJoy.

Hope I get my already purchased plants

My order placed in March stated ship week of May 15th. Since I have already been charged a fee for something that has not shipped I became concerned since no notice of shipment this week. I have sent at least three questions through their ticket placement service with no response. It's making me uncomfortable that I have not received a response. This is poor customer service and will not order from them in the future. If this company has poor reviews they should be reported to Better Business Bureau or another organization in IN. Honestly, I could of already had my plants if I had went to a local garden center. I was hoping to get them early and potted for the start of warm weather. Will not do this again. I just hope I get my plants that I have already paid for.

My first time to order from GrowJoy

My first time to order from GrowJoy. I was skeptical because in the past when ordering from other companies the plants arrive looking very sad and beat up.
GrowJoy sent larger, healthier, thriving plants in the absolute BEST PACKAGING I have ever gotten and I am over 70 so I've been buying plants a long time.
The fact that I was able to buy Lotus Vine plants when every nursery seems to be out was truly pleasing! Believe me, I searched locally and online.
Needless to say, I am thrilled with my order, store communication and packaging. Thanks, GrowJoy!

Missing Plants

I placed an order for 15 plants - 9 of them came on time and were beautiful and in excellent condition. 6 of the vinca did not arrive. I thought maybe they would come the following day and when they did not I opened a ticket since I could not find a phone number.
I opened ticket TAIWM100008800 and then ticket OIOQ100009043 and still have had no response. The original order number was 560013. I noticed these were getting responses so I am crossing my fingers that I will hear back from someone.

I did get a response and everything is great! The plants and packaging I have received so far have been of excellent quality!! Still placing orders!!

I wish I'd read these reviews first before ordering. I just received my order...I'd ordered 7 plants & have only received 3, even though the packing slip states they're in this package. I just sent a ticket to them & already have anxiety over them responding, from other reviews. I'll dispute the charges if I don't hear back from the within 5 days. I don't have time to constantly email a place that I paid good money to for products I didn't receive.
I almost put in another order the other night. Now I'm glad I didn't. Every business should have a phone number to be reached at. I should've paid more attention to that.
