I visited Housing Units on 28th March to purchase a sofa, high chairs, and a lounge chair — and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Abbey and Stewart looked after me throughout, and their service was truly faultless. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to help made the whole process enjoyable from start to finish.

They offered really useful tips and advice about the furniture, which made everything feel seamless and gave me complete confidence that I was choosing the right pieces for my home.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit — and I can’t thank Abbey and Stewart enough for such outstanding service!

We bought our furniture with an excellent offer which Housing Units' post on a regular basis. The furniture was top quality. Delivery was bang on time with Paul and Lee who were both polite and very, very helpful. Higjly recommended.

I recently purchased a sofa and armchair from Housing Units and unfortunately had a very poor overall experience.

The delivery was initially scheduled for early February but was delayed until March. On the first delivery attempt, the team arrived without any protective covering on the furniture and handled it with very little care — the sofa even hit the walls while being moved. They then refused to deliver it to my flat, claiming it was too heavy, despite me paying £95 for “room of choice” delivery. I was even told the items could be left in the car park for me to move myself, which was completely unacceptable.

After raising the issue and providing detailed photos and measurements of the staircase, a representative visited and confirmed there was sufficient space for the sofa to be delivered. A second delivery was then arranged and successfully completed.

While I appreciate that the delivery was eventually completed, the overall experience was stressful, time-consuming, and could have been avoided with better planning. Overall very disappointing.

Excellent service on delivery date. Craig & John contacted us 15 minutes before delivery and on arrival were professional courteous with their appearance & knowledge plus care and positioning of our new suite without any fuss or scratching heads !. A really positive team & credit to your establishment.

Had another great delivery from Joe and Paul second time I’ve had these great guys for a delivery. Today was my dining table and 6 chairs , delivered perfectly into my dining room and fully inspected.

Purchased a dining table and chairs and arranged delivery to my home.

Received a call from a customer service agent to arrive delivery date (either AM or PM on the specified day).

On the day of delivery I received a phone call from the delivery driver to say he was on route, you also receive tracking information via email.

The delivery drivers built the table and put everything together promptly and with care.

Really good quality furniture for a great price!

Excellent store with experienced and very helpful staff. Delivery arrangements went extremely smoothly too. On arrival my suite was much larger than anticipated to get through our doors but Jo & Paul our delivery drivers went above and beyond to get the whole suite into our home without any damage to the furniture and without needing backup which was a distinct possibility to begin with. What a team. Highly recommend Housing Units and their staff

I have had 2 floorlamp delivered and both were damaged due to inadequate packaging. Communication has also been awful…I was only informed about delivery when DPD sent a message with a time slot…I have emailed and had no reply again…I am so disappointed in the service or lack of it that I have received.

The 2 deliveries men Lee and David were very relatable and friendly and they assembled the furniture very quickly

Whole experience was great! Customer service very understanding of move in date changing. Delivery was super easy, Joe and Paul were great- made sure the table was level & in the location I wanted it in!

Not the best start, it turned out that they should have offered someone to measure getting the bed in first. I’ll take ownership on not saying I want to read line by line of the t&c’s but it was all kind of rushed.

We did get another bed in place but no check after to see if all was ok after the start to the delivery. Bit disappointed with housing units on this I’d have thought there would have been some aftercare after such a big purchase that had issues
