James from St Helens was very helpful when I visited. Answered all of my questions, was very polite and well mannered.

Recently attended the St Helens store as I needed a new bed I was Greated by James he was extremely helpful went through all the options and he made sure my purchase was the correct bed for me.

Had a video call with Rob. He showed me the sofa and chair and let me see it reclining. I was able to see all the sides, no marks or scratches. There was no sales pressure. He left it with me to decide and said to contact if I had anymore questions.
I decided to purchase and it was seamless. Booked delivery, they kept me informed and telephoned 30 mins before arriving. They moved my old sofa out for me, put my new chair and sofa in place. Unpacked and removed all packaging and plugged it in and checked all was working correctly.
5 star service, I got the sofa and chair I wanted within a week and saved £1800.
One very happy customer. Highly recommend.

Disappointing experience

The website support was excellent — the consultants were friendly, helpful and always answered my questions. 10/10 for customer service.

Unfortunately, the sofa I received was advertised as brand new, but it clearly appeared to be used. It had animal hair, damaged legs, tears and visibly worn/pilled fabric.

The delivery date was also changed several times, despite me taking a day off work to receive it.

Overall, I’m very disappointed with the product and delivery. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company.

We’ve purchased a dining table and chairs from Joseph James in St Helens, with the help of Peter, who was extremely helpful. He offered good advice and has an aim to please attitude. We liked a particular set of chairs. We asked if it was do-able?
We chose the table and matched them, choosing lighter wooden legs. They are now complete and the suite is ready for delivery. Nothing was a trouble for him. Their motto is “Yes, Yes and Yes!” 😊They’ve kept us in the loop and sent photos ahead of delivery, looking forward to receiving it tomorrow.

Had a great sofa searching experience at Warrington and Laura was fabulous. We came out with something totally different to what we went in for but love it to pieces. Thank you Laura for being really helpful and not pushy. Felt very comfortable with no pressure to buy. We went home to check measurements and then paid and arranged delivery over the phone.
