Fantastic house and experience
The house had all the facilities to satisfy everyone’s needs internally and our party went from an 8year old to 80 ! Externally it was so close to Canterbury and the coast to satisfy everyone’s interest. The booking system with Kate and Toms was straight forward and easy. They also went beyond , so that when we found one of the showers not working ,a phone call to them and the next day it was fixed.we also booked for a celebration dinner which was excellent food and service . An excellent week and would thoroughly recommend K and T.

A few days at Starhill Manor, near Ross-on Wye
Like many people I am inundated with requests for reviews with the result that I rarely respond. I decided to make an exception in this case due to the overall quality of the experience.
From the outset we found Kate and Tom's website very well presented, informative, and accurate. What stood out though was the teams' excellent communications and assistance in guiding us through the whole process as well as answering the few queries that we had.
The house is located in beautiful countryside at the top of hills not far from Ross-on Wye. It is a little difficult to find first time, but no problem afterwards. It is the first time we had rented a property from Kate and Tom's, or indeed one of this size, and so were not sure what to expect. It certainly exceeded our expectations, and was extremely well presented and equipped. It was also more spacious than we had expected from the floor plans and photos.
Shelley and Damian (the house managers) had done a great job in organising the bedrooms and generally getting the house looking pristine. On our arrival they were extremely helpful in dealing with a food delivery that arrived early and helped in storing the mountain of food, as well as taking us on a tour and acquainting us with the house. They were also very helpful with the occasional query during our stay and after check-out when they found we had left three items behind. Thank you both.
The family had a great few days and will definitely use Kate and Tom's again. We would also certainly return to the house if we wish to re-visit this beautiful area of the country.
Thank you to all concerned for making this family reunion a wonderful experience.

Star Hill Manor
Everyone at Kate and Toms were very helpful from stat to finish. I had never booked a holiday online before and they guided me through everything which was very helpful.
When we arrived at Star Hill Manor the housekeeper was there to welcome us.
We were there to celebrate my 70th birthday. The house was perfect for all the family from the eldest at 75 to the youngster at 19 months.
We had a wonderful family holiday and would love to do it all again next year

Wonderful property
Wonderful location aided by wonderful weather. Amazing property with lovely rooms. Beautifully decorated and amazing gardens. We loved it. Lots to see and do locally. A couple of minor issues which we reported to the Castle staff who took action to resolve them.

Something for everyone!
Set in a beautiful location, just few minutes drive from the M1. The house is well proportioned with room for everyone to be together but also space for individuals to find a quiet corner! The facilities are excellent with something for everyone - from toddlers to grandparents!

An Amazing Weekend
From the outset, my experience with Kate & Tom has been faultless. Because Pedington Manor is one of their Signature properties I was able to communicate solely with Sunny, and she was a great help to me throughout, genuinely wanting to ensure we had the best possible time.
The long weekend we booked was to celebrate various family events, but especially my husband’s 80th birthday and for that I decided to book a Kate &Tom recommendation and use a chef from Yhangry.
We had the most wonderful weekend from start to finish. Naomi, the housekeeper, greeted us and told us all we needed to know. She has been excellent in corresponding with me over the last couple of weeks.
Pedington Manor is superb - our family loved it and the addition of a toy room and games room was perfect. Also that they were a little separate from the main house. We all also liked having the horses close by - especially the children.
The kitchen and utility room are so well equipped and our daughter in law ( who is also in hospitality) was very impressed with the quality of the glassware.
The dining room is awesome and came into its own on Saturday evening when it was decorated for Stan’s 80th and Chef Alastair ( ably assisted by Anna) cooked a wonderful meal for us all. I would have no hesitation in recommending them - they were friendly but professional and we all enjoyed their company. It was just a perfect evening.
I can only say thank you so very much - Kate & Tom you did us proud.

Family holiday experience
We have just returned from a multi generational family holiday at Laplands. Beautiful house, well equiped for youngsters. Any issues quickly resolved by the owners and I would not hesitate to recommend a stay there.

This holiday home was the perfect staycation
This holiday home was the perfect staycation. The house and gardens were clean, tidy and very welcoming. ( Including a welcome pack with cookies,tea,bread,jam, etc)
Every care had been taken by Kate and Tom's staff to make sure everything was as it should be and was fresh and clean. From crisp clean sheets, towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Absolutely immaculate to every other area in the house. The gardener kept the huge garden area beautiful and the smell of roses in the air was really uplifting!
There were 15 family members on our stay and they were kept busy by playing pickle ball in the tennis courts, swimming in the warm pool and a dip in the hot tub. We loved the BBQ area with adjoining room indoors sitting area for eating the bbq. We decorated with pool party accessories and it was just perfect with background music playing from a mobile speaker. Great memories to made here. The ping pong table and pool table was always busy with friendly competitions. Some of the family would be reading books on the scattered sun loungers. It was wonderful to look around and see everyone enjoying themselves and having so much fun!
We would like to thank Kate and Tom for finding this beautiful property to put on their booking site and to make it possible for our family holiday, which will make it really memorable for years to come. It was so easy to book and to give good advice on everything that we would need to know.

Wow what a great weekend we had, and a beautiful environment to enjoy ourselves in. The host was brilliant and communicated so well with us beforehand and throughout our stay when we had any problems. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed and more. I cannot fault our stay at all, the booking process was simple and again the communication through the company was as brilliant.
