Ridiculous
I just no understand how can they still work in uk....

Cancelled policy with no reason and didn't returned my money

Had a never made a claim in 20years quote from a search website of £1118 total cost including but with £850 excess spent 30min on the phone because my car wasn't insurance for a week I had to take a photo to prove I wasn't lying, i took that one then they googled my house to inspect my driveway because I had a mesh driveway that allows grass to grow it wasn't classed as a driveway so then tried to charge me £200 extra for on road parking
imagine making a claim with this company when its this difficult to purchase

Worst insurance broker ever. Scammer, I have closed the insurance after two months and they have charged me 50%of the balance , I closed the direct debit and they started drawing money from credit card , I have asked for a closure invoice and they sent me two different invoices with different figures .

Do not use this company. You will be charged a large amount of cancellation fees. This company is a scam. I wish I read the reviews first. Lesson learned. Whoever you get car insurance with read the reviews. The automated response is them laughing at you. They know exactly what they are doing and they make their money off cancellation fees. They can just come up with a figure without giving you a break down of calculations. The price also changes once you upload the documents.

Just bought a new car so tried to change the vehicle insurance details online kept not recognising the vehicle. Eventually had to phone up only to be told (after 4 failed attempts) that ladybird do not insure electric vehicles. They advised that I should ask for a refund and put me through to a different department. All good or so I thought until I was told I had to pay a nearly £150 cancellation fee. I explained that I didn’t want to cancel and was more than happy to stay but i was told yet again that they couldn’t insure this type of vehicle. I questioned why I was getting charged a cancellation fee when I wasn’t the one cancelling my insurance to be told this was procedure. So please give this company a wide berth unless you can guarantee you wont be changing your vehicle.

Best insurance you can get if you have been unlucky and had 3 accidents in less than 5 years and known where your fault. Still overcharges but at least they are reasonable.

Very complicated company structure, very poor customer service. 4 different companies involved not talking to each other. Everything you have to call yourself to different companies and babysit. Do not recommend.

Ignore this company they don't know the hell doing when l have spoken customer service for purchasing the car insurance for pay monthly but they've been taken annually payment from my account now lm going to cancel it...

I have a car insurance policy with Ladybird. Ladybird Insurance Company and Kindertons (their claim handler) both are rubbish. Do not buy any car insurance from them, they are totally useless when you want to make a claim. Do not make the same mistake that I made.

Don’t bother wasting your time with this insurance company. In all the years that I’ve had car insurance no company has ever asked that I take and submit pictures of my car from all angles with the date and time written on a card and placed on the car. In addition they will request DVLA codes and also insist on copies of driving license for ALL drivers, main driver and named drivers.
Be prepared to hand over all your data if you choose to insure with them, otherwise they will take your money and cancel the policy.
