Awful customer service - refused to refund faulty goods

Lampsy delivered the products - no issues there. One shade was fine, but the esme shades were poor quality, but also damaged and defective.
We reported this to lampsy and they agreed to replace these. We then just asked for a refund instead because of the poor quality to which they agreed.
But upon returning these they then said they wouldn't refund them because it was now outside the initial 30 days (even those these were reported 7 days after delivery)
They failed to issue a refund within 14 days of agreeing to the refund.

*update* they hae now refunded in full after having to mention starting a chargeback to deal with this

*now trying to take down reviews over christmas*

Impossible to contact - stock shows in stock but is not

No phone number, no replies to emails, no one ever on the live chat. Awful. Thank goodness I ordered with a credit card so I can get the money back.

Update: management did call and seems they have no record of all contact attempts. Seems may be an issue with their system and to contact you need to email using their email address (not through the chat) as that is the only message of mine they have received. Friendly service when you do get to speak to a human, but it is a shame it takes a trustpilot review to do so.

UPDATE 2: Honestly would give 1 star if I could. One item arrived - not right and being returned (which you have to pay for which is fine). HOWEVER, I am told by management second item will arrive the next day. 2 days later it hasn't arrived. Contact lampsy and IT IS OUT OF STOCK. Not sure when they were planning to tell me this. Refunded, but honestly just utterly naff service. Never again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

2 out of 3 broken shades

INITIAL REVIEW: We ordered two ceiling lights from lampsy, each with 3 globe-style shades. 2 out of 3 shades arrived completely shattered in pieces and no-one from customer services has yet responded to email, chat or direct message to say they will send replacements.

UPDATE: I actually had a very good response from someone from cust. services who got in touch with the manufacturer and got both replacement shades sent out within 10 days. The lights now look great!

Still have not received my items…

Still have not received my items despite ordering in December. I've reached out multiple times across channels and haven't got a response as to when my items will be delivered.

Exceptional customer service!!

Simply exceptional customer service - easy ordering and quick delivery. Upon arrival one of our items was slightly damaged, despite being the week before Christmas and in depths of COVID, they responded quickly and within a week I had received a replacement part! Great communication throughout to keep me updated aswell.
I think you generally only get to see how a company really operates when you see how they manage issues/complaints and I can’t recommend them highly enough for this!

Terrible terrible customer service

Terrible terrible customer service. Item from my order got missed and never arrived. Paid for next day delivery and it came 3 days later. Emailed, tweeted, Instagram messaged and simply cannot get through to anyone. Shambolic customer service.

Worth going elsewhere for your lights.

Broken on delivery- twice!

We ordered a light fitting which arrived damaged. We sent it back and we’re assured that the replacement would be thoroughly checked before dispatch. When it arrived it was damaged in exactly the same way as the first one, almost to the point that we could believe that the damaged light had just been sent back out!
We e mailed Lampsy that day to report this and to say how disappointed we were. No response this far!
Not great customer service in my opinion.

Lovely lights in the great quality

I bought the lamps for my new houses from Lampsy. They all look great! I am so happy with their quality and design.
Also, their customer service was kind and prompt when I asked a couple of questions.
Highly recommending Lampsy product.

Poor Customer Service

Ordered a light and it arrived with a part missing. Went onto the website to contact them but there wasn't a telephone number. I have had to deal with them via chat and emails. They take about 3 days to reply. They promised me the part about 2 weeks ago but it still hasn't arrived. Very frustrating. Poor customer service.

Nice light, slow delivery,poor communication

I gave them 3 stars because I really liked the light and it's a nice product. However I am reluctant to use them again as the customer service wasn't great. The order was placed on Monday evening and I didn't get any communication to say when my order would likely be delivered. I left it a couple of days thinking I'd get a text or email as you normally do with pre delivery advice. I messaged on the Wednesday to follow up and then again on the Friday but still didn't hear anything. The website states that standard delivery is 5 working days so I assumed it would arrive Monday. Still no sign on the Monday and I sent another email and Facebook message and then got a response to say the order would be with me Wednesday or Thursday. It's arrived today on the 8th working day. It's not even the delay that I'm bothered about, it's the lack of communication. If I had known when to expect it that would have been fine and it would have allowed me to book in my electrician, but to not even give a potential delivery window (other than the standard 5 day guidance which turned out to be wrong) wasn't helpful. I get that people are busy but early communication would have allayed any concerns.

Lampsy - Astor Twin

Lampsy are a quality supplier, delivering products very quickly.

I bought 4 units of the Astor Twin Wall Spotlights, they work great with Hive GU10s.

One unit recently started to hold water. I contacted Lampsy for support, they agreed to replace the unit no issues. The replacement was delivered days after the product restocked.

First Class Service

FIRST CLASS service from beginning to end.
Such a lovely selection of lighting available, it was difficult to choose!
The ordering process was really easy, SUPERQUICK delivery and the light itself was brilliant quality.
