I placed an order with this company for several items. After the items arrived, I discovered that 6 of the items were wrong, (my fault). I called customer service and they told me to send the items back and they would do an exchange. They did request that I pay return shipping (which I should since it was my fault on the wrong items). I returned the items and about 5 days later I had my complete order. The service reps were very friendly and the shipping was timely.

They arrived fast except for 1 material. But they answer back fast.

Great products and the prices are even better.

I ordered 3 LED bulbs on October 27. On October 30, I got an email saying "the item you purchased" (didn't say which one) was backordered, and asking if I could wait week or so. I wrote back that that was OK.
My credit card was charged for all 3 bulbs on Oct 30.
The next week, I got two of the bulbs.
It is now December, and I still do not have the third bulb. I wrote asking about it, and got no reply.

Very bad customer experience!

I can honestly say that I had a fantastic experience shopping with Lighting & Locks. I ordered my items overnights and they were there the next day by 10 AM. Fantastic service.

Product arrived in a timely manner and matched the description we read.

Everything was exactly what I ordered and it came on time.

Extremely disappointed. My wife had asked specifically by phone if Lighting and Locks would not split our order up the way Amazon does since we live in the Caribbean and use a freight forwarder. Based on the assurance we used this company for the first time to see if we could spread our online shopping to other retailers than Amazon. Needless to say the two items of the order shipped separately and we wound up paying more in freight than the order was worth. Not nice to fool a first (and now last) time customer.

The two light Fixtures arrived without damage. Great news !!!

However, the design and build quality of the fixtures leaves a little to be desired. These are the Vaxcel Lasalle 6 light and 5 light fixtures. I had to put additional screws into the sheet rock to hold the base plates. Even doing this I cannot get the cover plate to fit completely against the wall. The bottom edge of the cover plate is on the wall, but the top edge is away from the wall. The reason for this is that the units are just too heavy for the thin cover plate. So the unit leans out from the wall. They should have designed the fixtures so that the attachment is thru the cover plate directly to the wall and increase the thickness of the cover plate by 3-4 times.
