I did get my money back from LOOT after 6 months.

If Loot bank blocked your account and ignore your messages.
You just call Wired Card Salutation on 0191 227 5450 and ask to transfer you call to Loot.
Wired Card Salutation is the ones who provide accounts for Loot. You have to insists that your call is tranfer.
And i did call them very often. And i think they got sick of it. And just give me my money back.
And second have to open claim against loot in financial ombudsmen services.
It's not hard to do. Can be done online.
Just update all the information you got. Screenshot will be good enough to show how you been ignored.

They stole my money! Wont reply to any of my messages. Over 10 thousand gone! Scammers!! Don't use or trust this company!!!

Absolutely terrible service and I will go on every platform to express this, they have frozen my account for up to a year now with not a single response to the several messages I have left them, when I called, they blocked my number so I wasn’t able to call again. They’re scammers and need to be shut down, I am planning to take legal action against them so this pathetic excuse of a business can be shut down

Absolutely awful ‘bank’. There own system error led to me not being able to fund my account, they then had the check to pressure me for proof of funds after I had thankfully moved my money out of the account. Awful process and even worse customer service, concentrate more on your systems than scrutinising new customers.

Great app, As a student it really helps me save money and budget well!

Great idea, very easy to use app and card and the ‘Goals’ feature makes saving money so much easier. Could do with some more visualisation of spending trends in something like a line graph of money spend per day. Also, while the budget is useful to know how much money you have left to spend, it would be nice to have the option to choose if you want the budget to prevent any weekly purchases over your set budget, otherwise you (me personally) still end up spending the extra money in your account.

Receiving money and transfers take too long and this is a very big inconvenience.

I have been trying to open an account for the past 3 years and No bank would even give me a chance. A friend told me able Loots, the application was very simple and straight forward and I got my card in less than a week . I just wanna say thanks for giving me a chance .

You do not have the option to make a deposit.

I had many problens trying to buy online as debit card on Ebay.

Topped up my account with £5, just as a test to see how it works. My plan was to save the card for nights out, top it up before leaving and then only take the one card with me. However, I don't go on that many nights out so did not use the card for a couple weeks after receiving it. When I finally came to use it, my account had been paused still with the original £5 on it.

I have Pressed the "Unpause" button in the app numerous times, every time I'm met with the same error message (error code 44411) and am prompted to speak to a member of staff over chat.Multiple times I have done this and message them my error code, if they get back, sometimes they do not respond at all, they tell me that my account had been frozen but that they will look into unfreezing it for me. I have checked back in with them multiple times but they never have an answer for me and my account has been frozen about a year now.

I have been using Loot for a number of years now and they have always helped me keep track of my finances both at home and abroad.

Recently I had a serious mishap with my account and on a Sunday evening they replied to my email and immediately helped resolve my issue. A great team that really know how to look after their users. Any issues and they will be there - 99.9% of the time your experiences with Loot will be issue free!

I had £300 go into my account and literally a second after it reached my account (after he 1hr wait) I got a message from Loot saying they’ve paused my account and need proof of where the money came from. I explained family sent me the money, I then had to prove with a screenshot of their statement WHICH ISNT ACTUALLY ALLOWED TO BE REQUESTED. I found this out after speaking to the financial ombudsman. Regardless, I sent the screenshot from my family member and now they are ignoring me, because I’ve sent the proof they needed.

This company wait for you to receive an “okay” amount of money into the account and then STEAL it. This is not the first time or person it’s happened to!

I wish I had read all these reviews first. They’re refusing to give me my money back, their customer service number is never in use because they don’t want to deal with the stress of having to answer to people that they OWE it to. They’ll ignore you for days on end.

I push EVERYONE to file a complaint on the financial ombudsman website. We need RID of these scamming/fraudulent banks.
