If an item is not available for next day delivery, it can take quite a long time to arrive; almost a week in my case.

The bike lift arrived on time, very well pakaged, easy to assemble.
The courier firm Evans who delivered it were first class and PAUL, the guy who did all the hard work unloading was exceptional.

Second barrel fire for me, Bit of a faff to dismantle and grind off the nub that stops the draw being fully closed but it's a 30 minute job. Quick delivery with zero damage, will probably buy again in another 3 years.

I hadn’t purchased from Machine Mart prior to this petrol grass strimmer buy, but overall thought that the process was efficient, the product price very competitive and, when called upon, customer service was excellent.

If I could give 0 stars, I would do it. We ordered a product and paid for next day delivery. We kept receiving everyday confirmation for the following day delivery. As we were waiting for the machine to arrive, after 3 days we called Customer Service and they were extremely rude and unprofessional, saying basically that regardless of the delivery window they give you, that is only an estimate and referred me to their terms of conditions, which said the delivery can take up to 30 days. Luckily, Fedex are more professional and helped us out!!! AVOID MACHINE MART LIKE PLAGUE!

UPDATE: Fedex helped us out and we were able to collect our delivery from them! I maintain my opinion about Machine Mart, your customer service is absolutely disgraceful, unhelpful and your website misleading! AVOID AT ALL COST!

I purchased a brand new Hyundai HYMT5200X-1 52cc 5-in-1 petrol multi-tool from Machine Mart. The pole saw/chainsaw attachment broke after one single day of use. The machine is clearly not of satisfactory quality and not fit for purpose.
I returned to the store and kindly asked for a simple replacement of just the faulty attachment, as sending the entire machine away would cause unreasonable delay (especially as I rely on it for work and was already losing thousands of pounds). They refused.
The following day I returned and spoke with a staff member named Connor and another gentleman. This time they gave their names, but the service was still very rude and unprofessional. The day before, the same staff member had refused to give his name when I asked (clearly dodging accountability) and actually said “That’s not my problem” when I explained the financial impact on my business.
They have still refused to either replace the attachment or issue a refund, despite the fault appearing on the very first day.
This is a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
Sections 9–11: Goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Sections 20 & 22: I have the short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days and am entitled to a full refund.
Section 23: Any repair or replacement must be carried out without significant inconvenience to the consumer. Forcing me to send the whole machine away for weeks over one faulty attachment is completely unreasonable.
Their own policy states that legal rights are not affected, yet they have chosen to ignore the law and treat customers with contempt. I have photos, video of the fault, and audio recordings of the conversations as evidence.
I have now emailed head office with a formal complaint and will be returning the machine to demand the refund I am legally entitled to.
Extremely disappointing experience. Machine Mart clearly think they are above consumer law. I would not recommend them if you value proper after-sales service and basic respect.

The staff members are above the law and a piece of paper on the wall overrules UK law and will rudely brake your statuory right in your face, and will ask you to be abused by having the whole machine sent over to service ( over a £25 attachment) creating massive losses. no accountability rude savage behaviour . I have now spent at least £20 k in the last 20 years in that shop. staff needs to be fully retrained in manners, the law, good business practice, instead of abusing me for asking for a refund. The reply below is a lie they are not in touch with me, refused a refund and am in limbo state losing money daily, they want to force me to send it to service and told me to leave the shop and bullied me into violating my inalienable right, we want a full remedy immediately and stop causing me to suffer a tort.

Good value for money

Very quick and efficient service from Machine Mart. The Hyundia garden Shreeder 3000w is an excellent buy. I have used it for shredding an overgrown hedge up to 30mm dia and small leaf privet hedge. all mulched or shredded well so I can use in the garden and compost heap. Well worth the wait from out of stock since January 2026.

Due to a problem with a water booster pump I had to contact the technical help dept earlier today. The phone was promptly answered and the technical advisor (Mick) I got through to on the helpline was exceptionly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, friendly and persevered through 2 lengthy telephone calls until the problem was resolved. I cannot praise him enough for all the help he gave me. A superb service.

Quality product Good to have home delivery on this large item

Delivered on time, well packed. Purchased for emergency use on 50's classic car as the manufacturer's jack is unsafe even for wheel changes. Will serve that purpose.
