Great provider

Exceptional company. They responded quickly to my query whilst abroad. I made the decision to wait until I was home for my treatment but I can honestly say the care and compassion by their team was outstanding.

Medical Travel Shield were excellent in helping me to set up insurance for a medical procedure being carried out abroad. Fortunately, I did not have to use my policy as everything went swimmingly, but suffice it to say that we got comfort from the fact that we knew we were covered. Now safely back I home I would certainly contact Medical Travel Shield should I need such insurance in the future.

I’ve used Medical Travel Shield five times now, and on one occasion I needed to make a claim. The whole process was incredibly straightforward they made everything easy to understand and handled things efficiently. After submitting my paperwork and receipts, the payment was processed within just a few days.

During was a stressful time, their staff were genuinely supportive and helpful, which made a big difference. Based on my experience, I’d highly recommend them to anyone travelling for surgery.

We have used medical sheild a few times , we made a claim once & we were paid straight away.

Easy to set up and a good price. We didn't need to claim so I can't comment on that part of the offer.
We will use them again.

I took out the insurance as a just in case as I was not anticipating any issues two month later I broke my temp teeth and had to return to Turkey .so pleased I did .the insurance has paid out and covered the cost of my trip for me and my wife the lady who sorted my claim Laura was fantastic. And pleasure to work with.

Knowing that medical travel shield would be there if the need arose was really helpful. I did not need any input from them on this journey - but past experiences reassured me that if problems did arise, help would be there.

User friendly website, policy easy to understand, competitive price.
Highly recommend if you are traveling overseas for cosmetic procedures.

Only used it to cover my operation in Turkey.

So here's my review.
Absolutely cannot fault medical shield so far they have been great. I had a dental policy unfortunately I had to return for remedial work. Maureen who dealt with my claim was an absolute angel guiding me through the procedure. All went well.
I have since taken out another policy for surgery abroad, hopefully won't need it but previous experience was great so Im sure if I need to claim ill have the very same experience.

Had to make a claim for a blood transfusion following cosmetic surgery in Turkey. The process was all done on email and was very quick with my claim being authorised within 4 days of me making contact

In terms of making the purchase no issues at all. Very straight forward. As I have not had to make a claim I cannot comment on what the full experience would be like

My experience has been good with these as in purchasing quoting although I have never had to make a claim this will be my third time using them, so far so good. I reached out to customer service for a discount code as a returning customer and all good. Recommended.
