Great product at a fair price.
Simple ordering with a good range of products. A fair price remembering the additional delivery charge for a small value order. Great quality, well protected for transport.

Good Morning,
We’re really sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the aluminium flat bar you received.
We don’t deburr cut-to-length material, as this helps us keep our prices competitive and get orders out to customers as quickly as possible. However, the cuts should still be square and the material should be supplied to the stated dimensions, so we completely understand your concerns.
We can see that you contacted us about the issues and that we arranged a replacement for you. We’re always happy to help when something isn’t right, and we’re sorry that the original order fell short of the standard you expected from us.
Thank you for taking the time to raise this with us, and we hope the replacement resolved the issue for you.
Kind Regards,

Arrived very quickly
Arrived very quickly. And was exactly what I ordered. One thing though, they sent out a duplicate order on a separate day, which is a shame because the shipping will have been quite expensive for them.

Returning customer, great service, thank you.
I have ordered from metals4U on a number of occasions in the past and have always found their pricing to be very keen. Having recently moved to a new employer, I am again ordering from metals4U. Having lengths cut to size is very useful. The only constructive feedback I could offer is that they advertise that most orders are delivered the day after they are sent out - sometimes it can take a few days for the order to be sent out. This is understandable when the order contains a number of cut lengths, but expectations need to be managed a bit better and it needs to be highlighted that delivery is the day after dispatch, not the day following order.

Good Afternoon Geoff,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry that this was your first bad experience with metals4U, particularly as we appreciate you have ordered from us previously.
Unfortunately, the original order was damaged in transit by the courier, and it appears we were not made aware of the damage by the courier straight away. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after you had already been waiting for your order.
Once we were made aware of the issue, we arranged a replacement which was dispatched the next working day and delivered the following working day.
We’re sorry that the original delivery resulted in such a long delay and appreciate your patience while we worked to put this right. We hope we can restore the level of service you have previously experienced from us.
Kind Regards,

I’ve ordered from you many times before…
I’ve ordered from you many times before your products are very very good. The problem this time was the delivery if it wasn’t for a neighbour informing us that a parcel had been left by a lamppost three or four properties away from ours we would’ve never received this parcel
I’ve been honest with you and didn’t report it missing due to a Shadi delivery
May I suggest you investigate this with your delivery company?
We will order from you again, thank you very much Simon Smith SGS Woodworking solutions Limited

Good Afternoon Simon,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, Simon, and for your continued custom. We’re really pleased to hear that you’ve always been happy with the quality of our products, although we’re very sorry that the delivery fell short on this occasion.
Leaving a parcel by a lamppost several properties away from the delivery address is certainly not the standard of service we expect from our delivery partners. We completely understand your frustration, and we appreciate your honesty in letting us know that you were eventually able to locate the parcel rather than reporting it as missing.
We’ll be raising this with the delivery company so that we can investigate what happened and address the issue with them. If you ever experience an issue with a delivery, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service team — we’re always happy to help and will do what we can to assist in resolving any problems.
We’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused, and we’re grateful that despite this experience, you’ll continue to order from metals4U. We look forward to serving you again.
