So my local Sainsbury's in Marlow bucks uses this company called Mitie Security I get stopped by one of staff because I always tie my dog up inside the shop which I have always done for the last 15 + years I have been living here ok he's a big dog and very friendly so the security officer told me to tie the dog outside I refused too as dogs go missing all the time in Marlow Bucks.
Now instead of having a go at me for tying my dog inside which isn't your job go and catch the thiefs, your job you bunch of clowns. You pick on the innocent people but not picking on the criminals lmao 🤣

From my experience, they send job offers but when you apply for them you are always not successful or there is no answer. Why do they even bother sending an offer knowing they never will employ you

This company are a disgrace they took over at my daughters place of work and none of the staff have been paid they're full wages and now cannot get hold of any management as there is 1 member of staff for a whole big building being my daughter she is absolutely distraught sobbing cause she cannot do it all and worried she is gonna get in trouble this company doesn't give a toss about their staff or pay correctly it's disgusting and fir management to go into hiding is a disgrace I will be contacting her union and Seeking legal advice and newspaper if I have to 😡

This company does not pay their employees. For 2 consecutive months, our entire department has received around £200 for full-time month's worth of work! Can you imagine showing up at work day in day out, doing your very best, come pay day, instead of getting your full month's wages, you get £200? Not once but twice again since they took over contract. WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR! No regard for their employees, no duty of care, no sympathy and they clearly do not know what they are doing! The amount of distress they have caused is unimaginable. Horrible horrible experiences with them.

I had an interview scheduled with this company. When the interview time arrived, I was waiting to join the team for the video interview. However, I received a notification saying my application was unsuccessful without any explanation.

Very rude and aggressive staff 3 staff 1 was a manager I'm told. Charlie the manager was called over as the person who I had the issue with would not give his name not professional told to move and hurry up. As I said we are loading as fast as we can he continually kept having a go back to the extent I was so distracted nearly got run over by a van pulling out. Then his boss joined in leave hi to me I will sort him. Then laura joined the argument. Getting in my face I had to keep stepping back. I had to say can you keep your distance I find your in my face attitude very aggressive and both staff. Then they was waving me off saying bye waving very unprofessional this was 2nd August southampton docks at 9am I did say I would complain to royal caribbean and they said they can not do anything so your complaining is pointless.

Motor security the staff have a bad attitude, watched me scan the shopping as I went round the shop as the security guard was following me. Then picked out all my shopping to check the receipt, argued that something in my shopping wasn’t on the receipt when it was, he made the lady at the self scan feel uncomfortable as well as my self. Absolutely disgusted even spoke to me like I was something g on his shoe.

Mitie cleaning company is one of the worst I've seen so far. Do not care at all about their workers at all. One of their managers Mateusz Geborys is a complete racist. As far as you're not white, he treats you like a piece of sh!!t

Mitie security ironically known as one of the greatest security providers yet members of public, contractors, clients and members of staff need security and protection from their management. An Asian ops manager Husnain would often take me (a contractor) into a a private room on one of the hotel site Manchester Airport and started a false relation with me for 6 months. His wife has found out and confronted me and now he shows that he is the victim and putting all blame on me so he can keep his job and stay married and be an Operations manager. This person is very bad and if Mitie have employees like this then they are a rubbish security company to work for and get service from.

Great if you need a job. Bad if you want to achieve anything by putting in work, effort, sweat and blood, or if you want to learn anything.
I work for Mitie now and used to work before in another place. All is the same: there are 2-3 people that are really good at what they do. And 40-50 clueless ones. Make sure you try to become friends with one of those 2 or 3 that really know what they are doing, so that they will hopefully teach you something, and support you to get a position, an apprenticeship or costly training.
The hiring process is mixed, some come recommended, some are hired based on the interview and CV. I was hired both times without knowing anyone there, so at least on this chapter they are clean.
Yet, a few months into the job, most people abandon hope, after trying hard to achieve something, to improve a process, or learn something, and meeting tough resistance.
There is no objective way of measuring who deserves a promotion and those 2-3 capable people can't divide their attention onto everyone else and teach them, help them, push them, even if they try, since they are busy working as if there is no tomorrow. Middle management it the workhorse of this company. Like in most other companies.
Yet if there is one thing that makes Mitie lose their stars, is the lack of communication. People don't know how to talk, and nobody is teaching them how to. Teams don't communicate between them, often one team cannot do a job because of another, friction arises, frustration, therefore even more lack of communication, and so on.
I currently don't even have an SOP. I started writing one myself and was told off. Not really sure what my job implies. I do whatever comes my way, managers just throw things at me. I try. If I can't do it, I ask around. If nobody can show me how it's done once, then I send it back.
The team leader got the job 2 months ago, leading people with 3-4 years of experience. We tell him what to do, how to do it...

But in the end, money comes into my pocket every month. I just don't expect to ever become the capable professional I want to be, thanks to Mitie. I want to learn a lot more, and do a lot more, make processes more efficient, save money while empowering people. Most people actually want to do more, if it makes sense to them to do it, rather than follow some idiotic system that they hate. But who will listen? Colleagues from different teams won't even stop to say hello. There is a lot of price placed on the individual, and little on the position they occupy, unless that position is a position of power.
A cleaner should be respected just as much as an engineer, because first and foremost, they are a colleague. And I don't see this happening anytime soon in Mitie. Communication lags behind everything else in Mitie.

Please don't work here if you have any dignity/self respect. Amazon BHX8 itself was a great place to work and the staff are nice. But the on-site manager Christine Stanton for mitie cleaning is probably one of the worst kind of work place bullies you could ever imagine. It makes working at the place very unbearable and a very bad toxic place to work. So let me just outline some of the points why. You have the clear favouritism where only if you are a favourite you get treated well, less stress, extra hours and less workload. If you are not a favourite you are told you can't have overtime because you don't perform well in your job even if you are working double or three times the amount of someone else. You will get stalked/followed around constantly by your manager constant bullying & harassment & peer pressure to be told you are not doing your job and then to be given extra work load than others people when you are doing your job good and working hard. You will be called into pointless meetings alot of them being off the record to be told you are not doing your job/performing well and when you ask how you can perform better in your job when completing two job cards and other tasks too you are given no response/instruction on how to do so. Watch out for when a staff member leaves or they need extra jobs because the short straw will go to the most disliked person on the team who gets given more work. From my time working at mitie I saw many employees come and go some left but mostly sacked. Some people chosen to move shifts to escape the bullying. As the manager worked days only and there was no night shift manager which is laughable really when they are barley anyone on days it's quiet alot of the time. So there was more freedom to working nights than they were days. The only way you can do well in this company is if your face fits and you are liked by management. If you stick up for yourself/defend yourself you are threatened with the job. At Christmas time everybody was given a present except from myself and another work colleague. I was told I would be an hypocrite to accept a gift after everything what was going on even though I was the one suffering from the bullying. After two years of the mental abuse I decided to leave after trying everything I could do to keep the job I enjoyed and trying to make things better. I did several complaints and appeals which were not upheld. I was told several times I was going to be receiving a letter for disciplinary which I think was a way to force me to resign from the position as they didn't have enough evidence in order to get rid of me and I didn't actually receive any letter at all. But it got too much in the end and the only outcome was for me to leave because the manager wouldn't stop her bullying/harassment until I left from my position. My only regret is staying there longer than I did. I wouldn't wish anyone else to go through what I did as it was horrific. Plus side was 4 on 4 off that was the only positive but with the stress I was going through it was very difficult for me to enjoy my 4 days off and just wasn't enough. I was suffering from my mental health depression, anxiety aswell whilst being diagnosed with autism, dyspraxia and possible ADHD. But this company don't care about any of that and it doesn't make a difference to how you are being treated. They don't want to solve any issues or except any responsibility as a company. You are just a number. Your wellbeing isn't priority by any means. Mitie is corrupt.

I've worked first time ever for manchester airport for it's company call .Mite but it's the worst company ever i worked with let's expose everyone 1 first of all the big mafia i call MAG they are mafia there big mafia ...terminal 3 manager carla who work for MAG SHE actually running the hol mitie management including mark calum who is actually the mitie manager if you don't listen to her you gone mate she's bad women she will phone mark and mark will get rid off you with false excuses now come to mitie management they are all junglies and clueless and also they will lose there contract they are not going to win extention this time and who's gona cost them a contract is mark ...Steve....Adam the racist terminal 2 manager...mathew the terminal 3 manager.. Lee the terminal 1. Manager...duty manager of terminal 1 halen who is too heavy and can't even walk ...so she don't even check who is working and who is not ...I WISH I could expose them in front of the owner of mitie i had this opportunity but I saved all of them but now I regret after I've lost my job because I'm brown and forgot the racism still remain 🙃

Mittie treats very bad the staff...they have cut lot of staff and keep adding more jobs to others. Now cut ROE contracted people overtime. Working as a cleaner for over 15 years.. Having mittie for a year now, its the worse time ever

Worst organisation I've ever worked for, I highly recommend not dealing with them if you don't want to be ripped off, they will fleece you out of money.

Southampton ABP gate 4 entry person totally unacceptable behaviour.

Very rude and saying get out, never been polite.

I've a dashboard footage of him acting rude.

I been to port many times and work at Port never expirence any such behavoiur.

The incident happened at roughly 17:30 -27th May 2024.

He shouldn't be on gate attending with such rude arrogant attitude and very racist.

If required i can produce the video footage of him been very unacceptable answer.

I was employed by this company on a 40 hour contract which was clearly documented for it to turn out that it was 45 hours which was clearly not shown on the contract. Immediatley I was displeased with the offer and felt i was blindsided by the employers and company I left after a week.

I was tupeed over to to Mitie, the first few months you think fair enough it’s them finding their feet with a large contract but no, this company is truly shocking! They brag on about “we are one Mitie” complete BS! The maintenance side of our contract get 25 days holiday, the cleaners get 20, the maintenance side get a sick pay scheme, the cleaners don’t. The staff placement is abysmal, they don’t give overtime to cover staff shortages, they get existing staff to cover working them into the ground then call you when you are off sick??Even when you have an autoimmune disease and your sickness has been told it won’t be counted or brought up on your record as it is legitimate!! The equipment provided is pathetic and not up to task, we had a meeting with senior management and were promised better/more equipmen, that was 8ths ago, still waiting! They are full of BS talk, empty promises and seriously don’t give a second thought to their staff!! You are just a number in their massive profits!!!🤯🤯

Get way to help people that are struggling fast decision no hassle and money in ur bank very quick what more can anyone ask for great would recommend to any of my fellow employees

I applied for a vacancy and spoke to rob roden he advised me he can get me work at various places he said he would meet me in redditch Court to bring my details when I got off the phone I had a good think about his options and decided I need 1 placement instead of covering areas. I messaged him back kindly saying sorry I can't cover different areas and got a message back with bad attitude saying I was messing him around very disappointing I don't understand why he had to say this in a unprofessional manner this has put me off for ever joining mitie.
