I am very unhappy with Moon Pod and…

I am very unhappy with Moon Pod and think they are a scam.
I just received the Moon Pod and crescent pillow on July 12, 2023. I was disappointed with the product and contacted customer service (email only) on July 13, 2023. When properly sitting in the pod (recline), in a short time (less than a minute) I felt the floor; very hard on my bottom.

There was never a feeling of stiffness to the pod as they say is expected at first. Also, there is no full body support as an expected benefit.

There is a large empty section of the outer sleeve when the filled pod is sitting up. I would estimate there is one fourth to one third of the outer sleeve flopping over the standing pod. It appears there is too much space and not enough beads.

I did not feel like I was floating nor did I feel the lounging, relaxing, meditating and unwinding feel they claim their product provides. I am constantly arranging the pod to find comfort (hard on the butt) even with the crescent pillow and it isn't easy to get out of the pod!

My response from Moon Pod to my concerns was, "Please allow me to raise this concern to my team and I'll get back to you with updates."

I did not get a timely response so I kept inquiring thru email and was told "I am still waiting for my team's response -- please bear with us as we are also catering lots of inquiries." That was July 18th.

It wasn't until I got angry and upset and willing to send the Moon Pod back for a refund that on July 21st, they offered "Please allow us to remedy this by sending you one free bag of Refill Beads to fluff your pod back up."

Fluff my Pod back up? It came flat.
Then to return, you pay a restocking fee and shipping.
I am now requesting to talk to someone in the U. S. that I can speak to. They will not provide any contact information.

I call this a scam. The product does not meet what you would expect from their advertisements and their customer service to rectify your issues is not timely. You have to wait for them to discuss as a team for a solution to any problems you have. I had to wait 8 days. Then if you want to return, you have 14 days from receiving the product to additionally paying them to send and take the product back. You pay restocking and shipping costs!

I am still waiting for Moon Pod to provide contact information to discuss a satisfactory solution.

I would not recommend you do any business with Moon Pod . We work hard for our money these days and deserve a better quality product as advertised. Positive and satisfactory customer service is needed with this company. There are other bean bag type products out there that there is no need to support a company that has no problem scamming their customers.

Great customer service!!

Pleasant and efficient customer service! Quickly answered my question and processed a price adjustment (~1 hr) on my Moon Pod, after I forgot to enter a discount code when ordering. Refreshing!

Service with ease

I placed an order this morning, which I should’ve given more thought to. After a few hours I contacted moon pod, owning my error and asking them to cancel my order. Because the only means of contact is email, I was getting more and more concerned as time passed.

No need! I did indeed hear back via email and everything had been taken care of. The order was canceled and my credit card was reversed. Absolutely no problem.

I really appreciate this level of customer service especially when it was my mistake.

Disappointed

When first using the pod it was great. Over time it is flat. I weight 147lbs and do not use it all the time mostly on weekends but it now feels like my bumm is on the floor. The beads have gone flat the the pod is not tight at all it has a lot of space. Not worth the money since you have to try an add beads. Disappointed.

My 4D pillow went flat-Excellent Customer Service

I emailed Moonpod on Saturday about getting extra beads because my 4D pillow has gone flat. Cecelia has been wonderful helping me. She emailed me every day keeping me updated on how they we’re going to fix the issue. Today is Monday and Moonpod is sending me another pillow as a replacement. What a great Company! Excellent customer service. Great products!

Highest Standards of Customer Service!

This product is made well, but did not suit my needs. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Hiyezel, from customer service, who made my return process its own experience. The prompt updates, and superb customer service provided during my return process made me want to purchase this item as a gift for someone in the future. More companies should strive to bestow this type of treatment to their customers ! I can not express the professionalism, and kindness enough! Well done !

STOP! Before you buy one of these things be aware that the RETURN process for these things is beyond painful! It should be a clue that there is NO TELEPHONE NUMBER to contact these jokers on their web page and you as the CUSTOMER will be forced to pay big $$$ to ship it back to these folks! This is a BEAN BAG CHAIR, a totally inferior product nothing special and definitely NOT worth the money total rip off!

Do your fellow shoppers a huge favor and write multiple negative reviews so MOONPOD gets the message.

The Moonpod is not a invention. The Moonpod is a COPY of a beanbag chair. Saying he is the inventor of the Moonpod is fraud.

The Moonpod is not an invention, it's a spinoff copy of a bean bag chair.

Not worth the money and flat as a pancake....

Really uncomfortable and my butt ends up touching the ground.. there is not enough stuffing!!!! Worst $500 I have ever spent.

Phenomenal!!!

Absolutely in love with my moon pod!!! Worth every penny, especially in this work from home world my boyfriend uses it to work and he loves it! We will need to get a second one ASAP because I’m not great at sharing HA! Also, the customer support team is quick and extremely helpful!!!
