Moss Bros. 

Three separate occasions I've purchased items on sale and have subsequently had the order part cancelled, leaving me to pay €8 delivery for one or two items. This is a scam and has been reported to the CCPC. If over a number of years you're unable to match whats on sale with what's in the warehouse, you've got serious issues. What's more likely is you're luring shoppers in with low sale prices, then cancelling the cheaper ones to make your money on the other items purchased.

Really poor service - unacceptable
I ordered a full morning suit. Branch staff very helpful, all measured correctly. Delivered 4 days before I needed it. Did not check the order (as they ask), so when I went to put it on the day of the wedding (I was an usher) found that they had delivered 2 of the 3 items unwearable - waistcoat too small, and completely the wrong jacket! I had to go in a suit, as the only usher not in morning suit. I know their terms say check 4 days before and report incorrect items, but no willingness to refund one penny of the £179.90 hire cost! Just unacceptable, and a warning to others who hire from Moss Bros. 23 August update - To be fair to Moss Bros, they have now given me a credit note for the full amount, to be used for purchases at Moss Bros within 2 years. A reasonably fair outcome

I was going to rate their service 2 starts as when Myself and best man visited, the staff who attended of the initial visit and the second visit just could not be bothered to help.
The reason for one star is that when I returned the suit I was charged £20 for being 2 days late. A late penalty charge was not mentioned also in the email advice to return a penalty was not mentioned either. This is a lovely trick to con Moss Bros customers. My best man is also returning his suit today and he will also be fined £20 so £40 in total. I would of returned the suit earlier but my new wife and I went on a 2 day break after the wedding.

My husband was fitted for a Ted Baker hire suit for our son’s wedding, costing £199. Despite him having lost a few pounds in the interim, the shirt didn’t fit around the collar, the waistcoat didn’t fit at all and the jacket was so tight he couldn’t fasten it. The trousers were ok. He felt very uncomfortable for the entire time he had it on and had to change as soon as the wedding formalities were over. I gave1 star as there is no option to give 0.

The staff at the Brent Cross branch were very professional friendly and polite. And done a great job altering my suit jacket.

I ordered 7 items in their online sale, for collection from their Worcester store. They said they would advise when ready for collection but no-one contacted me for a week. I rang the store to be advised that a small package was indeed waiting to be collected, which surprised me as I had ordered bulky items like shirts and trousers. On collection, only 2 items had been dispatched- a bucket hat and a tie - ie 5 items were missing with no explanation as to why. Going back online I could see that 3 of these items had sold out (fair enough) but 2 items in my size were still available. I wrote to their Customer Services department to find out what had happened to my order, to be only thanked for returning items (which I hadn't) and to be told that a re-fund would be forthcoming in up to 10 days. Not even an explanation for why they didn't send me items that were still in stock. In short, a terrible service with an appalling lack of communication and non-existent customer care. Not at all what I expected from a High Street name. I won't be spending my money with them again.

Suits ordered for a wedding. We were all measured correctly, however the sizing of their. products is incredibly variable. My trousers were far too short in the leg- halfway up my shins. I swapped with another best man in the same size and completed a comparison between both 36 regulars…. There was around three to four inches difference in the leg of each trouser! Once the suits were returned, Moss Bros said that their liability ceased once we had signed for the clothing. Very poor, use Slaters if you are in the Norwich area.

If I could zero or minus stars I would…. Shambled. Wedding tomorrow! Husband to be & best man got measured for kilts in Manchester City centre store in March, I called them in June asking if they need a re measure, guy said no all will be fine. Both drive over to Trafford centre earlier this week to collect. Totally measured wrong. Replacements couriered to shop for this morning, some of order missing again…what good is a sporran without a chain!!. Now they are both walking round Trafford centre trying to find cuff links as the standard ones were missing. We should be travelling to venue now to great our guests travelling from all over the world. Very unhappy bride … disgusting service 🤬🤬🤬

Ordered a suit which was poor quality and felt cheap in comparison to other similar priced brands. It did not look anything like it did on the website. The worst thing of all is their returns policy though. I was informed I won't receive the funds back until 21 working days after the return has been made....that is a ridiculous amount of time to issue a refund and I would never use this company again. So many better suit options for the price they charge (next, marks & spencer) Do not waste your time and money on this company as it will take an age to ever get anything back when the suit turns out to be terrible.

I have used Moss Bristol and Feltham for a number of years for different project cars I have had. I have to say sometimes the delivery has been a little 'tardy'. However yesterday I telephoned Bristol and spoke to Owen, he could not have been more helpful and polite and although he did not have the part I required there, he actioned it from the London branch and the prop-shaft arrived first thing this morning. Keep up the excellent service, it really does make a difference. Well done and thank you.

Chris Nelson was fantastic at Tunbridge Wells branch - his knowledge of colour co-ordination is great- he is a real asset to Moss Bross! Bethany Clark was also most helpful. I would definitely recommend this branch - from Terry Lucken

Amazing staff at the Truro branch! I went in looking for a suit and it took a while because I'm an odd size. The salesmen went above and beyond to help. Excellent service and highly recommend.

Shockingly high prices for Suit Hire.
Top hat alone was £100 for a day…totally taking advantage of the customer.
Go elsewhere.

Son ordered for next day delivery! Four days later no jacket!! Needed for an event this weekend totally ruined the weekend! Customer service don’t acknowledge any calls or emails!!! Avoid like the plague!

Never hire from Moss Bros! We are a groomsman party and it has been the biggest headache ever! One of us had to pay for the suit before the fitting, despite the groom already putting a deposit down and the company advertising free fittings! There was a difference on all the orders when we had to collect at different stores. Some had cravats, others ties, some with tailored fit shirts, the others slim fit. The waistcoats didn’t match! It was baffling! Because the wedding was abroad our return date was going to be late but they couldn’t negotiate that to accommodate us. So we had a £10 return fee, but because the orders were wrong we had to order new shirts. They promised this was part of the same order so there would be only one late fee. On returning the suits to store they have said it’s two separate orders and charged an extra fee per day late. Such poor customer service and the communication between stores is non existent!

I changed my mind on the purchase of five suits, I am still chasing a refund three weeks and counting later. The customer service department has no idea how to resolve situations.
