Moss Bros. 

We went in to the Moss Bros Metro Centre Gateshead this morning with every intention of buying a suit, shirt, tie, belt & shoes. We were ignored upon arrival (there was no one else in the shop), I asked if they could measure my son which they did and was advised they only had one suit in his size in store. We said no problem we’ll try that one and if it fits we could order a different suit in that size. The jacket didn’t fit which I pointed out to the staff who looked at me blankly with utter disinterest. A larger size was supplied which still clearly didn’t fit but this was apparently down to my sons chest & shoulders being the ‘wrong’ size. They were adamant we wouldn’t get a suit anywhere that fitted him because of this. The lack of interest, enthusiasm and the general unwillingness to help us was astonishing. The manager/supervisor didn’t spare us a glance and the two younger lads weren’t bothered. We were clearly trying to buy which we later did at Skopes who couldn’t have been more helpful and despite my sons ‘wrong’ size found him a suit that fitted perfectly. I will recommend Skopes to all the parents of my sons friends in the run up to prom

I recently placed an order through Moss Bros website. Within an hour, I wanted to add another item to the same order and contacted their customer service desk. But I was told that an order cannot be amended once placed. So I was forced to pay delivery charge on something which could have been easily avoided if their policy was customer focussed and/or the customer service team was flexible to understand my situation and willing to help.

I visited the Trafford Centre Moss bros today, they had a great selection of suits, but the most outstanding about Moss bros today was the staff member Danah she was very helpful as I was buying a suit for my sons prom she made the whole process a breeze for us , she is a great asset to Moss bros as she has great customer service skills. Thank you Danah.

I needed a new dinner outfit. The staff in Woking branch were courteous and helpful showing the choice available and arranging for delivery of the requisite items to their store in good time. Impressed with shoe horns in the fitting rooms too. Merchandise quite good value and good quality.

The serving staff (one of the gentlemen there) was really unpleasant if not aggressive. I felt attacked for the fact that I gave him size info from other brand, he was aggressive that I have not brought my son with me for whom the suit was purchased, pretty much everything. Over the phone he gave me a much lower price then in the shop (somehow it increased by £30 in the store). Really unpleasant experience. Will never come back. However the young people whom I asked some information there were kind and helpful.

Shocking service and very nearly ruined my wedding day.
I went into the Fort Birmingham store to buy myself and my best man suits but was convinced by the salesman to hire instead. He told us it would be the exact suit we wanted but would be cheaper to hire instead of buying. So we took his advice. We were both measured and told to return on the 29th April for a fitting. That day arrived and we visited the store as booked to be told they don’t have the suits we wanted as we had to be measured?! But we had already been measured previously! I was given mismatched items, no shirt as I have a big chest and the best man was told they don’t do slim fit on the hire service so he was given a tailored suit that was way too big and looked ridiculous but the guy tried to convince us they looked good!!!!
Best man ended up buying the suit in slim fit and I was told to go back 2 days before the wedding to collect my suit not even having tried that suit on or anything!!
We ended up going back to store and having the best man’s suit refunded along with a refund of the hire cost that I had paid!
Salesmen are an absolute waste of space didn’t explain anything properly and basically lied to us about having the suit what I originally went in to buy!!
Avoid this place like the plague!! If you want a wedding suit package in Birmingham go to Peter Posh they are amazing everything was sorted within an hour of entering the store!!

I bought a suit costing £200. Wore it no more than 6 times, the trouser has tore after 6 wears. Expected better from a £200 suit- expected it to last for more than 6 wearings. Contacted the store where purchased, Westfield Stratford, they were most unhelpful and could not care less or provide a decent level of customer service. Took it up with Head Office and same- no customer service. Suffice to say that is the last time I buy anything fro Moss Bros

Amazing amazing shop so friendly helpful perfect suit bought for my wedding in June, LIZA from moss bros Solihull was brilliant so professional and knowledgeable so helpful in choosing colours patterns etc that suited me especially cause I’m getting married abroad so the style weight colour and detail perfect and the fit couldn’t be better,
She was also very funny we had a laugh .i would recommend LIZA to anyone who needs the perfect suit.

Really disappointed. Arranged an “expert styling appointment” at my local store. Arrive a little early to look around, let the employee know I was here for my appointment, he advised me that he would let his colleague know. My appointment time passed and I was left standing alone while the employees chatted among themselves. Gave them 5 minutes and still wasn’t approached or attended to so I left. Been looking forward to this all week as it was the start of my suit journey for my wedding later this year, sadly I will not be returning there again. Extremely poor service and I would advise to not to bother if that’s how they treat their customers.

**Review of the Moss Bros outlet store Cannock**
I find it difficult to get a suit to fit straight off the shelf and when I needed a suit at short notice for a funeral Dan & Linford from the outlet shop in Cannock were brilliant. They both went above and beyond standard customer service. I got measured & sized up but the items weren't in stock. I ordered them into store with their help and they also made sure these items were priced matched to the outlet prices. Had several phone calls from them updating me about the delivery as the trousers were coming from a different warehouse to the rest of the suit. What could have been a very stressful time was made really easy by both of these guys. I would most definitely recommend this particular store and wouldn't hesitate to go back. It fully deserved 5 stars. Thank you both. I have absolutely no links to this store or any of the staff but given how many negative reviews there are and that my experience was so positive I felt compelled to write this review.

Bought a suit online from Moss Bros online and when it arrived it needed tailoring. Took it to my local Moss Bros store for this. The store attendant took an age to do this and eventually ended up pinning my shirt to the jacket. Upon pick up of the tailoring which is now not in store but outsourced, an attendant demanded proof of purchase of the original suit. Not the fitting. The original suit. The implication being that I had stolen the suit from the store and then returned to the same store to have it tailored. Final straw with this failing and useless company.

I ordered two suits online. They didn't fit. I returned following the advised process and since have heard nothing, received no refund. Absolutely disgusted.

I am writing to complain about my recent appointment with Moss Bros Eastbourne. Prior to the appointment, I called to enquire about the hire of a dinner suit for two special occasions and explained in detail that my husband is disabled with MND and therefore requires elasticated trousers.
I spoke to a member of your staff who assured me that this was doable, and I confirmed the appointment for Monday afternoon. I traveled 14 miles to the store for the appointment, only to be told that elasticated trousers were impossible and that Moss Bros had never done them.
This was a significant inconvenience and disappointment for my husband and me. We relied on the assurance of your staff member that this was possible and decided accordingly. We feel we were given incorrect information and wasted our time and effort.
We hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take measures to ensure that your staff is fully informed and trained to provide accurate information to customers. We would appreciate a response to this letter to address our concerns and confirm the steps you will take to prevent similar issues from happening.

Ordered a suit for in-store pick up in Watford but when I got there they had already given it to someone else and refusing any compensation

Hired suits for a friend's wedding here! Everything was simple, they kept good communication. Happy with the service! the only slight downside is that the trousers were slightly too long but nothing a quick stitch can't fix! I would recommend the staff were helpful and had a good sense of humor!

Such bad service in the London Stratford store. Staff are rude and are so quick to dismiss you. Wanted to buy a suit here, but will go somewhere else, they dont deserve my customs.

P.s please have a carry bag available if someone buys a suit. Its crazy to think they think its ok to sell you a suit and give you a 10p bag 😅

Made an order to hire suits for my wedding. Collection was 2 days prior to the wedding. Suits were dropped off to the relevant person's, and the suits fitted fine. Onto the wedding day and we all take the suits from the case and we find one of the suits is a different colour!!! Yes...the wrong suit. It was only picked up when the suits were together, how would the best man notice when he had nothing to compare it too. It was still blue as I described to him but a different shade and very noticeable. Contacted Moss customer services who said it was my fault for not noticing and sorry for the inconvenience! Inconvenience???? Having the wrong suit for a wedding day! Terrible company. Avoid avoid avoid.

Avoid this place !
Usually to use such a place you would be having a special event coming up - you would expect the staff to be knowing what they are doing - very inexperienced staff member dropped a box of pins on floor and just left them. Went off several times to serve other people. Showed no interest or advice on wrong sizes that she gave. Order turned up folders up so needed dry cleaning and missing items. Rung the store who was not interested, wrong head office who was not interested - avoid don’t let these amatures ruin your special experience.
