Orwell quote was on the high end of those we had, but none of the others demonstrated the care, commitment & experience that ensured me they were trustworthy like Craig did.

The day couldn't have gone smoother. Items well protected with specialist covers, door and floor covers prevented any scuffs or scratches.

We were geared up to help out but didn't need to lift a finger, which allowed us to clean as we went, all ready for the new owners by 12:30.....amazing.

Craig and the team provided a professional, respectful, and all around great service when they facilitated our recent move.

Craig and his team packed and removed our contents to their storage facility until they delivered in North Yorkshire for us. Craig is extremely efficient and helpful, each query was answered quickly either by phone or email. Our contents were well packed and looked after, not one breakage! They came back for our washer when it wasn't delivered in time on removal day. Brilliant service, would highly recommend using them to look after your possessions.

From start to finish Craig, Amanda and their team made me feel completely at ease and confident that I had nothing to worry about with my move even though the thought of moving had frightened me with how much there was to be done but they took this worry away from me. Before completion, I asked questions and always received a fast, friendly and informative response. On moving day, the team arrived early, were extremely friendly and worked extremely hard to take all my belongings from my old home to my new home. I cannot recommend Orwell Removals highly enough and would never use any other company as they provide a service above and beyond expectations. Huge huge thank you to them for making my move relaxed!

I was very happy with my removal experience with Orwell. I was moving furniture from Jersey to the UK which was not the easiest process but Amanda stayed helpful throughout & we got there in the end. Orwell provided a great moving service for me. Their price was excellent and they took good care of the contents of my home and garden. The service I chose was mostly just removals (we packed ourselves), but they also packed my pictures carefully and moved these with no problems. Amazingly they also managed to move all my large garden pots without any damage to the plants or containers. I was really impressed by the speed they unpacked the lorry at our new address and got everything done within a day. Really hardworking team and I would definitely recommend them. We were so impressed when Craig came to see us to price up the job, both with the attention to detail and the price. On the day a second Craig arrived just before the due time, with Nick and Arnie. All were very strong, super quick and, with their senses of humour and fun, took a lot of the stress away. We can't recommend them enough.

We used this company to move a sofa and snug chair into storage, however upon collecting them from the storage, I could see that both items have been severely damaged beyond repair. We tried to contact the company, but they have denied any responisbility and the man was rude and aggressive on the phone, before hanging up. A complete joke of a company. Do not use unless you wish for valuable items to be ruined.

Hired this removals company to transfer 2 sofas into storage. Upon collection the sofas were awfully damaged. They were in perfect condition when they left our home and I honestly cannot believe the extent of the damage. When I contacted the company, they were incredibly dismissive and defensive and took absolutely no responsibility at all for the damage. Surely a company such as this has insurance for damaged items. They placed the sofas in a way that the trim has been scratched / hipped and they look horrendous. The company is completely unprofessional and it’s evident their positive reviews are all written by the company themselves. Do not trust this company. They hung up the phone and refused to answer further calls. Never dealt with such a terrible company. Will warn all others about using this service!

Very efficient from the off. Helpful with advice and providing additionally packing materials when we needed them. The crew on the day were fabulous - friendly, careful and hardworking. It wasn't an easy property to move into due to 4 flights of stairs and some tights corners but they managed it all in good humour. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely bunch of guys from Orwell’s, relaxed, friendly and happy guys made the process very smooth for us. We used the packing service which proved invaluable for us and they were very thorough and careful. I would definitely recommend Orwell’s to others!
