Expensive - failed after less than a year
Bought an expensive toothbrush approx £150. Fantastic to begin with, but one day after less than a year of use it does not turn on. Thinking it could not possibly be broken at the extortionate tag price and such little time I bought a new charger, to see if it would work and still no luck. Said it had two year warranty, put in the toothbrush details onto the website, for it to claim it has no warranty on the specific toothbrush I bought

If I could put minus 1 star I would. Bought their top of the range iron. Sent in its factory box only, with flimsy non-sealed flap closure with no other packaging or protective materials. Fell out in transit, arrived in a poor state, unsurprisingly. Absolutely zero customer service, appalling experience. Avoid buying directly like the plague.

The use UPS for delivery, you can see from the reviews that they should be avoided at all costs.
Philips Hairclipper horrible
Bought a Philips Hairclipper Series 9000 with £87 and with the light use after 1 year battery has died . One of the worst products I have used, the was they manufactured this product you can't replace the batter easily as well. Never buying any philips products again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered a Philips air fryer for $89 along with a blender that I didn’t really need but bought since it was on sale. The blender arrived in two days, but the air fryer never did. After countless calls, I was repeatedly told to contact the shipping company—meanwhile, Philips’ customer service was not only unhelpful but also rude.
After two weeks, I found out on my own that the shipment was canceled—no one from Philips informed me. I then spent weeks making endless calls, emails, and messages trying to get my refund. Every time, I was told they’d handle it, but nothing happened. They offered me a 15% voucher, which was meaningless because by the time I finally got my refund (after a whole month), the air fryer had doubled in price. Even with the voucher, I had to pay twice as much.
On top of that, I was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. No one took responsibility, no one tried to solve my issue, and the entire experience was a nightmare. And to top it off, I’m now stuck with a blender I didn’t even need—one that can’t even blend an onion.
Philips has completely lost my trust. never again.

If I could rate lower I would, never order direct from phillips you might never get your order, terrible customer service, their warehouse is not even in the uk so if your order even arrives, it will be weeks late dealing with custom. Should of gone on amazon, boots or any other shop that supplies their stuff so I would actually recieve it on time

Ordered Lumea IPL direct because I thought service would be better. They get double profit from direct orders. Four changed delivery dates later I still don’t have it but they’ve taken my money! No answer to my email after three changes. After 4th change I called only to have a bored, disinterested person be completely unhelpful. Told me there has been a customs delay because it’s coming from Netherlands which they neglect to inform at time of order! He said I’d had an email from Philips but I did not. 4 days I’ve had to stay home!

Buy from the website at your peril
Ordered an iron directly from Philips. Item is sent from their main warehouse in the Netherlands. It didn't make it out of the Netherlands due to an export control issue as shown by tracking information for the courier. Communication from Philips is very poor. The site is difficult to navigate to find a point of contact. Emailed the CEO to complain, the email was read but no response of any sorts.Still awaiting a refund for the iron which is now over two weeks.
I ordered 2 replacement air purifier…
I ordered 2 replacement air purifier filters on the 3rd of December, a week later there was an issue with DPD delivering but I've not had a refund, I also can't get through to Philips customer service, will now have to use my credit card company to to get refund, its terrible that they don't automatically refund when items are not delivered so it's put me off ever ordering from Philips direct again.

Durability of sonic air toothbrush- plastic extremely thin and only lasted me 3 months.
The item fell off the sink and the casing broke, cheap thin plastic.

I do not usually write review but sometime we have to give feedbacks when they are due. I lost the calc clean container of my Philips steam generator iron. Contacted them, it was out of stock. They sent me regular emails to update me regarding the out of stock status until they got it in stock. They even sent the part to me free of charge by surprise. This makes the customer experience excellent.

Ordered an air purifier, philips took then money, heard nothing, then an email to say order has been cancelled despite seeing stock availability online. Still haven't received money back, also philips refusing to honour the price that i ordered which is conveniently cheaper than the price today. Customer service said a manager would ring me back, they didn't. This is false advertising, extremely poor customer service, they have robbed my bank account and cancelled due to a "technical error". DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

Better to use Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries
What has happend to this once great company, Philips Lithium Ultra batteries have a poorer performance than zinc carbon batteries, the Philips lithium ultra batteries (FR6LB4/10 USE BEFORE 01-2034) only last for a day and a half in my blink door bell, I have used a pack of four within three days. I purchased three packs x4 (12 Batteries) and I have had to use up a third of them so soon, is there a manufacturing fault with these batteries? On checking them with a bettery tester only one of the two batteries installed is completely depleted while the other still has some life in it. I paid £19-95 for 12 batteries which are absolute rubbish. I cannot find a contact e-mail address nor a phone number for customer service.

All the terrible and bad reviews you read below are true. Based on my own experience avoid purchasing directly with this company at all costs.
Entirely Inefficient Service
Honestly, the customer service is awful.
They want to extract all of your personal information before they can answer a simple question.
They try to speak to you in a formal way, using words like "regarding" etc, when they are just a customer service, and not a high end office. And that comes from individuals who appear to be of poor educational background.
If you pay attention, you remain engaged and listen to what they say it's all gibberish, pointless, and it goes nowhere.
And after you have specified that you want to speak to someone at the technical team and not the sales team, because the sales person appeals to be clueless to answer your technical enquiry about specs and products comparison.. they just ask you once again for your personal information.
Seriously, they come across like those scammer cold callers who try to extract your personal information, before they can answer a simple question.
And you just go into circles and you waste your time going nowhere just hearing "regarding this and regarding that".
I think that they wish that they were lecturers.
Now imagine that you have bought a product and you need technical support.. Good luck.

What happened to phillips especially…
What happened to phillips especially their sonicare toothbrushes. Their heads are impossible to find in any shops and the price is enough to make me wanna go back to just a bog standard manual toothbrush. Partners toothbrush has broken twice in two years. I think I will be getting an oral b in the future and for my partner. Phillips is just cheap crap from China. I’m done.
