Really let down
We asked Cara from Portslade Paint Perfection to repaint our 3 bedrooms.
After 3 no-shows and weak excuses the work finally began, however it was slap dash, patchy and rushed and really wavy against the ceilings. I questioned this and was promised they would come back and rectify - they never did
What’s worse is we found a huge paint spill on a rug which they pushed half under our bed so we didn’t see it (found it after we’d paid unfortunately) and more paint marks on parts of the carpets.
It’s been a few months since we had the work done and the cracks have started showing through. Seems they just used a bit of filler instead of fixing properly.
Cara was friendly and replied quickly to messages right up to the point money was handed over and now she has blocked my number. When I call from a different number she immediately puts the phone down.
Feel ripped off. Only accepts cash or bank transfer, neither of which gives any protection against a claim.
Maybe this was a one off as Facebook reviews are positive, however I’ve since found out business owners on there can simply delete reviews they don’t like. I’d never use her again. Awful experience and corners cut at every chance
