A truly amazing provider
I used to be a client of Reward Gateway. The only reason we no longer use them is because I moved companies, but I would still recommend them without hesitation 👍
They were genuinely great to work with. The platform itself is really straightforward and easy to use, and it made recognising and rewarding staff feel simple but actually worthwhile 🎉 There’s plenty of choice and flexibility too, so it never felt stale or repetitive for employees.
What really stood out was the support. The team were always responsive, helpful and easy to deal with 👏 Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It didn’t feel like one of those systems you just get left to figure out on your own, as there was always proper support behind it.
Even now, I would happily point other organisations in their direction. If you are looking for a solid and reliable way to boost engagement and show your people they are valued & appreciated, Reward Gateway is well worth considering ⭐

Reward Gateway are the company that work with companies and provide employee discount scheme via your employer. My employer relationship changed a few months ago meaning new accounts set up for all existing employees as part of the legal transition. For 2 months, this has been working fine and using the app/website fine purchasing vouchers with % off for employee discount. Then coincidentally tieing in with the 60 day grace period to end the old company arrangement, my new account, accessed different account details no longer allowed me to purchase vouchers. Each time it said the payment had been declined by my Bank. I tried with two different cards, two separate card companies all together, same result, auto decline at checkout. Spoke to both Banks, requests for payments not even reach them from Reward Gateway. So what is going on. Raised enquiry with Reward Gateway 9th June. No response after 7 calendar days. This is poor in my opinion. I had to chase this enquiry up and raised a new one as further attempts to buy a voucher for another different retailer also failed on 4 attempts through two different banking credit card companies. It was then a back and forth via email to get it sorted and advised there was some sort of sync issue resulting in me, the customer "not being found". They resolved this but failed to answer all my questions so currently challenging them on that. Overall, a poor experience, poor customer service from Reward Gateway, a lack of phone customer contact is a barrier and does not help. In my opinion, since this involved payment transactions which are regulated under Payment Service Regulations (PSR), you need to do much better with regards to enquiries where payments fail, orders fail and ensure all customer questions are answered and in full. My perception is you are still hiding the real story in that I think you messed up my old account with my new account simply because of the employer email domain connection but both accounts have entirely separate email logins. Not good enough, definite scope to improve your service.

App is horrendous
Ever since they updated the app I have had nothing but trouble. I always load my Asda card before my main shop and twice now the money has been taken but not loaded onto my card. Both times I have had to wait a week to get my money back meaning I had to borrow money for food. They were extremely unhelpful and not at all compassionate even after explaining they have left me with no funds to buy food. The PC version works fine but the phone app is horrendous.

A discount code that I bought did not work on the website so I contacted Reward Gateway support. I got an immediate automated AI response back giving me options to self-fix but I said that I needed help from a human being.
I received a response back straight away and then received a callback from a really helpful support person who sorted everything out for me and arranged a refund after I explained the situation.
I then got a confirmation from a senior support person to confirm the refund.
Overall Reward Gateway were great at dealing with my request, managing my expectations and explaining what happens next. Their customer service was excellent because they were humans (not bots).

I did redeem the code of below compliment select code for £250 and another for £250 and £150. Where can I get the Gift Card Number and Pin Code?
Also after I redeem the Complimentary Code, there’s no follow-up email either through my personal email, office email or message for the Gift card number and Pin Code. I did message Ernest Jones, they advised me to check with third party provider which I believe is your company?

Have they stolen money from my workplace and me?
My workplace gifted me some money to spend through this company. I wanted to buy through Amazon which they offer as a service.
It was very convoluted - basically I chose an item and had to pay extra to Reward Gateway to get a gift voucher from Amazon. Why they can’t just sell an Amazon Gift voucher I don’t know.
Anyway I got confirmation of what had been paid for but when I went into my Amazon account the voucher wasn’t showing.
Went in a long chat with this company to see what had happened - too them several days to reply and they said I had to contact Amazon.
Amazon have no record of a voucher being used and are asking for info I don’t know and this company haven’t given me.
At the moment this appears to be fraud. They have the money my company gave them and the money I gave them - Amazon never got it.
Doing a charge back at my bank but the money my company gave me appears to have gone.

UPDATE 10/6/26 company don’t reply to me so I have initiated a charge back with my bank. Looks like I have lost the voucher my workplace gave me but at least I’m going to get my own money back.
Would really recommend people stay clear of this company and handle reward schemes with someone else or manage it internally.
UPDATE 14/6 company still blaming Amazon but I have proved it’s not their fault so bank chargeback has been done and I’ve lost my money.

Refund issued
I had an issue with a B&Q gift card that could not be used on products sold by third-party verified sellers. Although this restriction was mentioned in the offer terms, it was not obvious at the time of purchase and caused inconvenience.
After contacting customer support, Lazar responded promptly, clearly explained the reason for the issue, and went above and beyond by arranging an exception and cancelling the code with the retailer. My refund was processed immediately and I was informed when to expect the funds back in my account.
While the original experience was frustrating, I appreciate the professional handling of my case and the willingness to find a solution. Thank you, Lazar, for the excellent customer service.
