Sent me the wrong size item from what I purchased. Item was going to be a gift so didn't have much time to get a replacement, not that it mattered because my phone calls and emails were ignored.

The item also looks though it has been used, the logo has been half scratched off and there is something on the blade. Extremely disappointing considering it's a £150 item.

Avoid this shop.

I ordered some cutlery- they then emailed and said there would be a slight delay:5-10 days. A month later, I still hadn’t received delivery - they don’t ever respond to emails. I then emailed saying to cancel and refund - but again heard nothing until they then emailed and asked if I still wanted them. I replied no, and that I wanted a refund. 2 months on, I’m still chasing the £79 refund. Don’t but anything from them! I’m now trying to address this through my credit card company.

The prices may seem tempting, but its not worth the extremely poor service. Its been months and I am still waiting for part of my order to be delivered. Hardly any communication, blatant disregard for the fact that I don't have my goods and a completely bad customer service attitude. Buy somewhere else.

So wish there was a zero star option. Woeful service is about the best description I can serve up. X4 emails, no reply, several phone calls, no pick up. 5-10 days delivery for a £200+ set of kitchen knives. 3 weeks later no communication at all, despite my best efforts. Seriously buy from somewhere else!

We’ve been waiting 3 months for a replacement Alessi kettle. Repeatedly told they can’t get stock even though it’s available to order on the website

Like many others I have ordered and had my money taken but not had my item delivered. Despite repeated emails and (unanswered) phone calls I have had no word. I would say to you Viv, (who responded quickly to my initial email about payment!) either admit you cannot source items or let your customers know about delays. I am currently attempting money back through my credit card company which is a hassle. I wish I had never bothered to order from you.

Do not trust this company! I wish I had seen the reviews... I ordered an item, they took my money and should have delivered within 3-5 working days. 9 working days later and I am still waiting. I have sent 3 emails which they have totally ignored. I have lost my money. I don't have the item and I am totally fed up. Just don't bother with them - buy elsewhere. I am obviously one of the lucky ones as item has now arrived! Ordered 6 September and arrived 2 October (3-5 working days??)

One star because that is the minimum. Gathering by the shared experiences on this, it looks like this company is going up the wall so buyer beware!!!
I ordered and Alessi espresso stove nearly a month ago. Wasn’t delivered after a week. Had no email confirmation of order. Sent them an email and the response was that they didn’t have it in stock and were waiting for a delivery. Clearly, offering products that are not in your possession is not good business practice.
I replied that I would like a refund. Haven’t heard from anyone in two weeks. Fortunately I paid by PayPal so have raised a complaint with them.
Terrible service, terrible communication. Beware of doing business with these people.

Stole my money and didn’t send my order. Didn’t reply to emails. Claimed payment back through PayPal. Waste of time. Do not use.

Bought a heavy based pan with Pyrex lid, arrived smashed as one piece of bubble wrap between lid and base. They sent another, same thing one piece of bubble, this time only the lid was smashed. I suggested I buy a new lid from a different company if they could refund me £11 to cover the cost to which they agreed. 6 phone calls later with many unfulfilled promises I finally got the money back. Avoid like the plague unless you enjoy stress and have plenty of time on your hands to keep phoning them.

I returned an Alessi kettle as I didn't like the fact that it had a sticker on it and I didn't want to risk removing it and spoiling the product. The lady on Customer Service (Viv) provided excellent service and she was very pleasant to deal with too - she treated me like a person rather than an anonymous "number". She told me I could return the product and get a full refund. The only reason I'm giving four stars and not five is because I'm being asked to review the refund process - this was very slow and I had to chase it up several weeks later. However, I contacted Viv again and she was brilliant - she did the refund there and then while we were on the phone so I could see the credit on my account. So four stars to the refund process but definitely five stars to Viv!

After frying my boyfriends kettle.....I was delighted to find the exact same item at Richmond Cookshop at a really good price. It was ordered and delivered swiftly and we couldnt be more pleased.

I ordered a wok a month ago and still hasn't received it. They don't reply emails or answer the phone...

They take your order and they take your money, but they don't send the goods.

Emails asking for info were ignored. The first time I called I listened to an answerphone message, telling me that there was no-one available and that I could not leave a message.

I did eventually get an answer and was told the supplier was "out of stock". I'm unsure why they wouldn't have told me that.

I seem to have been able to cancel the order, but we'll see if the refund does come through.
