This talk was excellent! Informative, and fascinating. Joanna Coleman has the whole history of fairy tales at her fingertips. She makes connections between the age, the culture and the tale, taking us way beyond the classics we all know to a different tale and story which is timeless, which influences us as we hear it and which we influence in the telling. Amazing. Thank you.

Excellent presentation about science of trauma on the body. Speaker was clear and used videos to good effect to illustrate examples of trauma. Also outlined a myriad of varied treatments and activities to help reduce symptoms. Also liked the inclusion of society and law implicit in prolonging trauma responses.

Fantastic talk on burnout - really helped me understand what’s going on when the fog descends and everything feels too difficult. Particularly enjoyed Tom’s talk.

The Speaker was excellent. She was an absolute expert in the field of trauma. Her talk was beautifully constructed and very well thought through. She covered a vast amount of information, but kept the audience fully engaged throughout. Explaining trauma in the first half and leaving the solutions to the second. Her diverse use of mini film reels really brought all aspects of the subject to life. Wonderful.

This was my first time attending a lecture through SeedTalks and I must say, I'm very impressed. Ticket purchase was easy and well priced, the location (Camberley Theatre) was clean and intimate with refreshments available before and during the break, and the presentation itself was amazing. I will definitely be going to more!

It was incredibly informative and insightful! It was history and magic blending together wonderfully.

Sacha Coward was exuberant, engaging and very entertaining as well as knowledgeable on this subject. My partner and I really enjoyed the night! The only disappointment was that Sacha promoted his book which he wrote on this topic, but wasn’t selling them at the event. I would have definitely bought his book on the spot! Perhaps Seed Talks doesn’t allow for this to happen.. never mind , I will find it elsewhere.

I'm one of the speakers and I just want to say how terrific Seed Talks audiences are. They come out on a weeknight after a busy day, ready to explore something new or learn more about something that already interests them. Any presentation is really a dialogue - without the energy of a really engaged audience, it feels flat however good the speaker may be. So thanks to everyone who goes to a Seed Talk.

Well organised and timed. Venue was great and evening flowed well. Subject was fascinating and who wouldn’t want to spend an hour or two in the presence of Sacha Coward.

The venue was ideal. The talk was inspired with regard to bringing the traditional into the present and exploring various aspects that have resonated with me.

Seed Talks are an excellent company who genuinely care about their customers. It’s been refreshingly easy to have disability reasonable adjustments at in-person events and I also appreciate the range of events that are online. The speakers are always enthusiastic and have a huge variety of topics that appeal to many people. They always reply to emails with such helpful info and general kindness. I’m really glad I’ve discovered them via Eventbrite and I’m on their email list to see any upcoming events I may be interested in.

The British Folklore of Stone Circles was an excellent talk . The speaker was very engaging and the subject was interesting and thought provoking.

I attended a fantastic talk on the psychology of possession, and had a wonderful time. The guest lecturer (Dr David Luke) was funny, warm and personable, and had a wealth of stories and knowledge to share on the topic. I was entertained and had my mind opened at the same time.
SeedTalks are a great way to learn about all kinds of topics in a convivial atmosphere. I’ve got myself booked for another two already!
