Scam email from royal mail. Do not click!

I’m lucky to have found this trustpilot page in time. Got the same email as everyone here and it looks very convincing. Watch out for this in your inbox it’s everywhere now

I would leave 0 stars looking at other reviews its a scam email. i recieved a email from royal mail saying a parcel from smart gift solutions could not be delivered please reschedule but i have not ordered anything and i was home all day. Very convincing try not to click any links.

SCAM! I work for Royal Mail and I am my own postman. The emails do look very convincing. BEWARE.

As others, received email today purporting to be from Royal Mail saying I had an order from Smart Gift Solutions and it could not be delivered until I paid!!! SCAM do not respond.

Got royal mail card but was in. Didnt order from this company.
Royal mail email looks legit but isnt.

Complete scam but lots of plausible aspects (though we were not waiting for a parcel from Smart Gift Solutions and were also in when we “missed” it).

These people who like to scam people ought to get a grip of themselves. Everyone is in the same boat don't need people trying to steal.

Received same scam email today saying couldn't deliver my parcel as insufficient postage. Never ordered anything from this company. Needs to be taken down!

It's a scam, have never ordered from this company and was at home when the alleged delivery happened. Beware don't click on link!

Yep same as other reviews, I’d missed delivery and need to pay for re delivery. Eh I don’t think so. 1. I was in and had sight of front door, no delivery was attempted 2. Royal Mail always leave a card with an option to pick up at depot.
3. …and this was a the killer…I NEVER ordered anything.
Slightly concerning is that the email domain name looks genuine i.e. @royalmail.com even if the rest of the name preceding the @ looks like autogenerated gibberish. This kind of scammery especially around Xmas is utterly repugnant and the perpetrators are much more worthy of the kind of ire Clarkson chooses to direct elsewhere. Marginally (but only marginally) less culpable are the other organisations who by turning a blind eye rather than relentlessly chasing down are effectively facilitating this scourge

Legit looking email but strange email that made me wonder, also I’m missing parcels but don’t remember buying from smart gift solutions so googled them and up pops it’s a scam, which doesn’t surprise me. Don’t fall for it don’t click any links

Its disgusting that this is allowed to continue...fed up of having to play detective eveytime I receive something!!!
This mail could convince someone who will become a victim. Very sad.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE.

Customer service is a joke, the personalisation is terrible, half my order did not arrive.

I too received this scam email. It looks very legitimate-except for the strange jumble of letters in the email address and the fact that it went to my spam folder. I'm missing some parcels so nearly got taken in but those red flags were enough for me to try tracking through my account at Royal Mail rather than the email. What a waste of time and what's being done to prevent all these scams?

Just had a SCAM email from Royal Mail stating I’ve got to pay for a failed delivery!!

recieved what looked like a very ligit email from Royal Mail asking me to pay to have an item redelivered. As I'd never heard of Royal Mail doing this I doubled checked the smart gift solutions website just to check I hadn't ordered something. Definitely hadn't then saw all the reviews saying it's a scam.
