This company is a scam. They have taken £160 from my nans account and set up a direct debit, from the reviews this appears to be a theme! Company has been reported, absolutely disgusting that they are targeting the elderly!

How to get a refund from these Thieves
This company are totally FRAUDULENT. Along with Reliable Appliance Repair they are
praying mainly on the elderly.. Good thing is I've been into the bank today and banks can do a direct debit refund.. the £165 this company stole via Sparta telecom was back in bank account within 4 hours..
But keep a check on bank account as they may try to scam again with a different reference number..

I would like to inform you that filing a charge back comes under direct debit guarantee and is a basic facility that your banks provide you. For you information, you could have applied for a refund through us as well. You mentioned the name of Reliable Appliance Repair and I understand that they explained you clearly, why the transaction took place. I would like to request that you simply say "No" to something you do not want and not call other companies fraudulent. I strongly disagree with your choice of words for our esteemed company. I would like to inform you that we do not take money out of people's bank account just like that and it is not possible to process any transaction without the bank details. However, it is possible that you shared you details and forgot which is quite normal for anybody because of their busy schedules. I advise you to kindly contact us for any clarification.

Scam company, prey on the elderly
Same experience as most here, this company is a scam and prey on the elderly. This comapny took £165 and set up a direct debit out of my Grandads bank account without ever phoning or being in contact with him. These people are a disgrace and have been reported.

However, I would like to enlighten you on the fact that almost all the customers or their representatives who have posted their bad reviews which you referring to here had their issue/query resolved. But they still wanted to put their experience here and rate it which I respect regardless of the stars they have given. We as a responsible company welcome all types of negative and positive reviews from our customers as it gives us opportunity to learn and grow. But I do not see it fair that you only concentrate on the negative reviews and call us a scam company. To start with scam companies do not keep an account on platforms like Trustpilot and respond to their reviews or have dedicated customer service. Scamming the elderly
This company just took the sum of £160 from my 89 year old mothers bank account without her ever sharing any details or ever been a customer. This company should be shutdown. We have informed bank and trading standards. They seem to prey on the elderly not checking their statements. You have been warned avoid.

It took 3 of our customer service team, and also legal department to get this sorted as TalkTalk was insistent that they had the line, it was after we and the legal department who intervened to sort this. It took over 2 weeks until TalkTalk admitted they had got it wrong and had not completed the transfer properly, we are glad to hear they are refunding you all changes. That's what we do, we go the extra mile for our customers, so they can enjoy their services, and as you have found that's the difference between us and the big boys, we go out of our way to help.
Good company, great service.
