Alls well that ends well...
At the start it was a little frustrating; communications were confusing i.e. they wanted to file a State income Tax form and I live in Florida/work overseas. But once we got past that and they had the documents, the preparers did a great job on the tax forms, corrected some errors I had in my self-prpared tax forms, and got the foriegn tax credit applied (that was a lot of paperwork tht I didn't even attempt). All in all I'm very pleased.

Responsive, willing to try a task outside their usual routine
In search of a tax accountant for US fiduciary taxes (what the estate pays) for a UK/US cross-border estate, I contacted UK companies serving the expat community. Very different from expat taxes but I wasn’t finding a good US firm. Several responded but after hearing what’s involved, didn’t follow up.
TFX was the exception. Over the months it took me to address a matter affecting the workload, Charlie Sellens periodically sent friendly messages to see how it was going. Ultimately, I was not able to hire them as the task turned out to require extensive experience, but I really appreciated Charlie's calm demeanor and willingness to try.

There are good CPA there, try to ask for one
The platform is clear on process and steps , the questionnaire could cover my need adequate (dual status alien with foreign account and funds)
Sloppy at first with a EA assigned to me, took her 3,4 months back and forth to ask a lot of questions that I've already provided in the questionnaire / email / in the document I attached. And she still couldn't get my return done.
I complained a few times, then they switched my advisor to another CPA, she cleaned up everything in one week, and no more stupid questions, only valid one, very easy to communicate with and responsive.
Love the second one so much I ask for her for my next year.

Efficient, Responsive and Easy to Use
I’ve had a very positive experience with TFX. Their team is incredibly responsive, and although the communications can sometimes come thick and fast, it reflects how much support they provide throughout the process.
The guidance is comprehensive, the app is intuitive and easy to use, and I particularly like that I can complete my tax return at my own pace. It’s simple to pause, come back later, and clearly see what’s been completed and what still needs attention.
Overall, TFX has made what could be a daunting process feel well organised and manageable. I’d happily recommend them.

As someone navigating the IRS Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures while living abroad, I had a number of questions before signing my engagement letter.
