UDOOR bathtub door Bewertungen

I booked an appointment for my mum to have a door fitted into her bath quickly and easily by telephone with all questions answered. Richard fitted the door for her professionally and quickly. He was clean and tidy and provided good advice to her. She loves her bath now, so easy to get in and out of. I highly recommend this option for anyone with mobility issues or even a big dog that they cannot lift into the bath. This company comes with a 10 year seal warranty which the other competitor did not offer.

Had my bath door fitted today by Janus who was very professional left everything clean & tidy and talked me through everything he was doing. I can’t use the door for 24 hrs but I’m sure I will love it it looks good and I will feel safe knowing I dont have to climb over the bath to shower .

Im leaving this review for anyone considering adapting their bathroom for easier access or for those sitting on the fence and undecided.

To cut a long story short I looked at different options for my parents after one of them had a fall and hip replacement and with rapid onset of LBD, action needed to be taken and quickly.

Option 1: I first looked at removing the bath and replacing with a full length shower, tiling, flooring. With a cost of £3,500, disruption a 3 month wait and organisation of materials and waste removal this was the least best option

Option 2: I then looked at removing the bath and replacing with a complete walk-in shower bath, with a little less disruption, but still a 3 month wait and at a cost of £2,500. This was discarded due to the position of the taps and location of the door being obstructed by the WC where the walk-in bath was located.

I kept searching and came across Udoor. co.uk and I’m glad my patience paid off.

Option 3: Udoor offered minimal disruption with fitting and at £1,500 at 20% VAT zero rated.

(I later found out as well as the above points, all waste was removed, product and fitting guaranteed for 10 years and to be completed within 3 weeks)

After doing my due diligence I knew this was the best option by far and after speaking to Fay any lingering doubts disappeared completely.
It was talking with Fay that convinced me we made the right choice and we placed the order for the works to be completed within weeks. All communication was clear and continuous.

The day of the installation arrived and the fitter called 30 minutes before arrival which was great as this gave us time to use the loo before work started.

Richard arrived within 30 minutes with all the necessary paperwork and rubber over-shoes in hand (that’s a good sign I thought). After an inspection of the bath, work began. I found out Richard the fitter is employed directly by the company so was fully trained and not a third party contractor and he proved to be great ambassador for the company. On a side note Richards van was a company van with full livery. It was clean and organised although this doesn’t directly effect the work to be done it does give a good indication of the character of the person and professionalism & quality of work to be expected.

The area was made safe and Richard worked his magic. After just a few hours Richard cleaned the area and removed all the waste. He showed us the work to make sure we was completely happy. The completion paperwork filled and payment made without any drama.

A big thank you to the Udoor team

Engineer Janos was extremely polite ,efficient, tidy and respectful towards my wife's and I. The completed job was as expected.

To everyone at Team Udoor,
I'd just like to leave a quick thank you on behalf of my Mum, Betty. She had a Udoor fitted yesterday, Tuesday 7th October 2025, and is very pleased with how it looks and has been fitted. She can't wait to use it and finally be able to comfortably bathe and shower again.
We'd also like to thank the fitter Csaba for completing the job so professionally especially as it isn't a very big bathroom to have to work in. He was fantastic.
A big thank you must also go to Fay as well, who always had all the answers to our questions and replied to all answer phone messages very quickly.

Our experience with UDOOR was excellent. Csaba fitted the door in our cast-iron bath with a minimum of fuss and did a first-rate job. He also cleaned up after he had finished, leaving no mess at all. Csaba was very professional and polite as well as being helpful and we are perfectly satisfied and happy with the service provided by this company. Many thanks indeed.

Can't recommend UDOOR enough - from placing the order to getting the install done all communications were great - on the day of install Csaba the engineer phoned with an exact time of arrival - The job was done perfectly and was spotless when he finished. If anyone is thinking of changing their bath I'd definitely suggest going down this route - No mess and no need to replumb anything (and works out cheaper than the expensive baths with doors pre-fitted) - all done within 4 hours and usable after 24 hours. Its made a massive difference for Mum.

Due to a decline in my partner's health I have been looking for an alternative method to enter our bath tub due to the shower being over the bath . Our bathroom suite was newly installed just 4 years ago so was reluctant to have to start again with a walk-in bath or shower due to the cost which worked out very expensive. . After searching on the internet I found a company called u door. After seeing the reviews I decided to contact u door for more information about the installation of a bath door . I contacted u door by email and then followed it up with a phone call and spoke to Faye . Faye gave me a list of days and dates that were available for the installation to take place . After agreeing on a day and date the installation was booked. The work was carried out today by a lovely gentleman called Janos . Janos arrived at the time agreed and I was greeted with a good morning and a smiley face . This put me totally at ease . On entering the premises Janos asked to see the bathroom so he could provide me with information of what to expect and where I thought was best suited for the door to be placed. Janos then proceeded to collect the materials he needed showing me the actual door that was going to be installed and giving me a demonstration of how to use the door when it was in place . Once the door was installed I went up into our bathroom to see the finished job. The door looked absolutely lovely and there was no sign that work had been carried out as the bathroom was left clean, neat and tidy . I would like to thank Janos and the u door team for the excellent service provided and for providing a door to make access into our bath tub more safer and accessible. I would highly recommend u door for anyone thinking of requiring better access in to their bath tub. I would like to end this review by saying thank you very much for the installation Janos you have made our lives a lot easier regarding safe entry to and from the bath tub.

So happy with my UDOOR it has made getting in/out of the bath for a shower so much easier for me. Haven’t had a bath so can’t comment on how that would be as I prefer a shower. Csaba was so helpful explaining everything to me and left the bathroom clean and tidy, he did an excellent job thank you Csaba.
Anyone who struggles to get in or out of the bath look into this UDOOR as it’s a brilliant idea as you don’t have to have new shower tray, shower door, tiles or flooring to have to pay for which is great!

Excellent job done, Richard who fitted our door did a fantastic job. He was clean and tidy. He was respectful to our home. He was very polite and a credit to the company. Would definitely recommend UDOOR to anyone who is looking for this service. Very affordable.

Our two engineers Richard and Yanesh did a great job installing the door in a challenging environment with a curved bath to contend with.
U door is clearly a highly professional company which I wholly would recommend.

I am very happy with my U Door. Used it first time this morning, so reassuring to be able to get in and out of the bath safely. The engineer Csaba who installed the door was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and left the bathroom spotless.
Customer service adviser was extremely professional and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
I have already recommend the company to friends, will continue to do so in the future. Thank you.

Csaba fitted us in earlier than the date we had been given. He did an exceptional job of replacing our bath panel and installing the door in a very difficult position in our very small bathroom. The job took a lot longer than would be expected. It was late evening when it was completed but he didn't complain. All done with good grace. We are very grateful for his advice.

Very very pleased and impressed, it's a total life changer for me. So easy to use, looks great. Brilliant engineer called Casaba, good job would highly recommend, everything was left clean and spotless 5*

I am so pleased with my new bath door, and thank Janos for being so kind and helpful. It will make things easier for me to cope with.

The door fitter was very helpful and did a very good job. He fitted the door in a better position than the one where we thought it would go. The door is better than expected and looks to be good quality, blending very well with the P-shaped bath.

Fitter arrived promptly and worked well and produced a very professional finish.
He gave us explanations and kept us informed .
Bathroom left very clean and tidy .

Ordering process was easy with good advice given. Fitting went as described , fitter polite and left the bathroom as he found it. Very happy with the end result.

On time. Janos went through all the details what he would do.
6 hrs later a brilliant job done.
I am so pleased with his work. Left everything clean and tidy.
It was a real struggle now to climb in my bath to use my the shower.
Having a door put in my bath will change my life.
Thank you Udoor.

Your udoor fitter, Janos, arrived promptly, on time. He was very polite when we met him. He explained what he would do and we told him where we wanted the door. He was an excellent worker and every stage was explained. His tidiness was impeccable. Top marks for Janos.
