When we got our boys, we couldnt think of names so we called them after the colours of their collars..
Events got in the way and it was a reasonable time before I was able to do this..Had to call head office and a very helpful lady was able to change it for me..so officialy I now have Monty,,Albie,,and Smudge.

I've always been very wary and…
I've always been very wary and sceptical of insurance companies. I bought my cat insurance and pay £6.58 a month. I only took it out a couple of months ago so I had only paid for 1 month when my cat needed dental surgery which cost £890. Waggle didn't haggle! They paid out, obviously I had to pay the excess fee but I was very impressed with how efficient they were in dealing with my claim. It's restored my faith in taking out pet insurance. Thank you Waggle.

It didn't start too well
It didn't start too well , I did not have all of Lily- dog's past health history, but after Waggle received it everything went quickly and smoothly, Great understanding of the stress to owner and pet plus almost daily contact, Jamie Byrne, Senior Lead Chaser went above and beyond my expectations, and Lily with 100 stitches 4 days ago now like myself in Recovery and needing rest. Thankyou Waggle , Staff and especially Jamie.

Hassle free, friendly and understanding
I've sadly had to make a few claims this year as my cat had 2 different cancers and later passed away. I have to say, I've had nothing but exceptional customer service from Waggel, very sympathetic and understanding but also they processed my (4) claims very quickly and hassle free. Their quote was much cheaper than others.

Unjustified deductions
Avoiding full payment on the pretext that I did not seek prior triage when in fact the vet visit pre triage being sought was for my dogs annual boosters and didn’t relate to the actual condition that I then claimed for.
This after I had already paid for three separate minor treatments that I could but didn’t claim. All now subsequently claimed as a consequence of Waggel’s approach.

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible - in the yrs insured ive spent over 1k on the policy and never needed to claim. Only to have my cats dental treatment of 800£ denied because her last checkup was just over 12 months ago. Would have been better off keeping the money in the bank. Totally useless policy!

We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the outcome of your cat’s dental claim.
Our dental cover does have specific eligibility requirements, including a dental examination within the 12 months before treatment. These requirements are set out in the policy terms and are considered when assessing dental claims.
We understand it’s frustrating when a claim doesn’t meet these requirements, particularly after having held a policy for several years without needing to claim. We appreciate you sharing your feedback about your experience.

Don't trust what they say
Don't trust what they say put in a claim got turnd down on a technical 14 day warm up period left me in a right dilemma to have the dog put down or fight for is life dont trust them happy to take your money though so I'm taking them to court to get all my money that I have paid .so why say he is covered for the treatment then go back on your word not good at all

Our policies do include a 14-day warm-up period, during which conditions that begin or show symptoms are not covered. Claims are assessed against the terms of the policy and the available veterinary evidence, and we appreciate that a claim decision can be particularly difficult when your pet is unwell.

I have used Waggel before with a Scruffy Heinz 57 terrier. I am looking forward to a trouble-free journey with our border terrier puppy.
Unfortunately they quoted me wrongly as I definitely put that I had a Border Terrier but they quoted me for Biewer Terrier, which I had never heard of and when I looked up, would never contemplate as they are a miniature breed. My policy was adjusted, it went up by £9. I am not sure whether I will stay with them after this poor start.

Had to claim for a related issue with my dog. Was able to have payment made directly to the vet and this time things were dealt with smoothly and quickly. Waggal were great had issues in the past with the claim taking longer than expected but no complaints this time. Really happy with their service.
