I took my car to the garage booked by Warranties2000 on 24 July for a diagnostic inspection. On the same day, the garage informed me that the alternator needed to be replaced over the phone and mentioned they will send the diagnosis and estimation for authorization.

However, the repair estimate was not sent to Warranties2000 until the morning of 28 July. I do not understand why it took four days for the garage to submit the estimate. During this period, I had to make multiple follow-up calls to both the garage and Warranties2000. Without my repeated chasing, I believe the process would have been delayed even further.

Once the estimate was submitted, I contacted Warranties2000 several times to request that it be reviewed and approved as quickly as possible. On 29 July evening, I was informed that there was an issue regarding the diagnostic fee and that the estimate had been sent back to the garage for review. It is now pending with the garage, and once again there has been no proactive action or communication from either party.

Throughout this process, I have had to repeatedly call for updates. Emails sent to Warranties2000 have gone unanswered, and when I questioned why I had not received any email responses, I was simply told that my emails had not been received.

I only bought this vehicle from V12 Sports and Classic last month, specifically to enjoy the school holidays with my children. Unfortunately, due to these unnecessary delays, our plans have been completely disrupted. As things stand, I have not been given any estimated timescale for completing the repair. Looking forward for warranties2000 team to consider this issue on priority.

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Poor communication the aftersales team lying to us and giving us false information like telling us to contact the motor ombudsman to raise an ADR only to find they aren't registered with any Ombudsman.
Google reviews are very different to trust pilot reviews which is concerning. They have sold me the gold warranty on the basis that major engine failures and engine parts are covered only for me to find upon the timing belt failing then causing further damage to the engine due to timing belt fault they have now said the timing belt is wear and tear. They have been very poor with communication and very unprofessional. Warranties 2000 have replied below but this is ABSOLUTELY a review of them. They did direct us to an ombudsman on an email which I still have a copy of only to find that they do not have a motor ombudsman they are. Prefect with that but they did signpost me that way. The parts in question had not reached the age or miles to consider replacing what a scam! My advice save your money and use it towards repairs because you won’t be covered.

Absolutely spot on service, reported a cooling system fault within 48 hours sorted with new parts and labour covered had to pay a small amount towards the costs but it was worth it. Did the right thing taking out the extra warranty 100% worth it.

I bought a warranty from this company through Big Motoring World's pressure tactics and so far have nothing good to say. I am currently attempting to put in a claim but have had one email answered so far. One. Since 1st July 2026, that's 24 days of being ignored. I have tried ringing but just spent over an hour on hold. There's only so much of three pieces of music I can listen to. I paid over £2000 for the warranty which is, so far, proving to be a complete waste of money. Next stop Financial Ombudsman Service...just got to wait the 8 weeks out.

Once I managed to obtain the correct Customer Services representative the process went very smoothly. The Garage needed to replace extra parts and contacted Warranties 2000 without my knowledge and Warranties 2000 reassessed my claim and increased their offer
