More than 10 tickets raised, countless follow-ups, and every time the same line — “We’ll call you back in an hour.”
The whole day passes, yet no call, no update, no accountability.
Ticket numbers: 2399238, 2398419, 2402726, 2404602, 2410646, 2410793, and many more that keep getting opened & closed without resolution.
It’s been 11 days of empty promises and robotic replies.
This isn’t customer service — it’s pure negligence.
@Zoomcar__India — please take responsibility and escalate this to your management team immediately.
Hosts trust your platform, but this kind of delay and silence breaks that trust.
We deserve real support, not scripted replies.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Delayed Refund
I had a very frustrating experience with Zoomcar. I booked a car on 19th August 2025, but soon after, the car host started messaging me to cancel the booking. Concerned, I contacted Zoomcar customer care, and they offered me an alternate booking option only on 22nd August 2025—three days later.
I went ahead and booked another car, but when I tried to contact the new car host, I was told I had the wrong number. This added to the confusion and inconvenience. Eventually, I had no choice but to cancel the booking.
To make matters worse, I still haven’t received my refund. Today is 1st September 2025, and Zoomcar is now saying I will receive the refund only by 6th September 2025. This delay is unacceptable, especially considering the poor service and lack of coordination throughout the process.
I do not recommend Zoomcar based on this experience. Their customer support is slow, the booking process is unreliable, and refund timelines are disappointing.
Zoomcar is unreliable and customer care is rude
I have used zoom car rental service few years back and found it to be reliable. But recently, I booked their car and found it very unreliable. As soon as we confirm the booking on our side, we need to pay the full amount but the car owners seem to wash off their hands anytime so this service is highly unreliable, At a row twice two of their car owners cancelled my bookings. In case your travel plan has no room for change in dates, this service is not for you.
Also when I reached out to their customer care for refund, they are asking for sensitive information and found very rude and they disconnected my calls multiple. After several attempts, I got my refund, so be careful with Zoomcar.

Don’t go for the zoom car they never deliver car ontime we need to pay advance but you never get car for your trip, if you planned trip booking zoom car you never execute it and also very worst experience with customer care they don’t connect and if connect they will disconnect the call and also they keep posted the car but it is not available in for delivery or else host will not reapond to calls .. I am frustrated and writing this never ever go for it worst and pathetic experience I had with zoom car

This business uses deceptive practices, it’s really a scam. Booked a car on line, declined insurance as I have rental car insurance with my cc. and personal car insurance. Refused this, and insisted I purchase their insurance at an exorbitant cost. Several other customers irate. Many people waiting as they overbooked their fleet. I walked away, got a car elsewhere and after much hard work was issued a refund.
Deceitful rental proctices
Deceitful. Would not accept car coverage I paid Expedia, so then I had coverage through AAA, which they also would not accept, so for a car rental for one day advertised as $23.00 I ended up paying the extra 20 to Expedia plus they charged me $70 for car insurance for one day..
A 23 car rental turned into $113.00 before it was all over.

I had always trusted Zoomcar for my travel needs, but this experience has been beyond disappointing. It’s been over 3 months since I submitted a damage repair refund request for the following bookings:

Zoomcar's own policy mentions that the review process takes 10 days, yet despite 100+ follow-ups through emails, app chats, and calls, there has been no refund and no meaningful response.
The support team keeps sending generic copy-paste replies and doesn’t seem interested in resolving the issue. This isn’t just bad service — it feels like deliberate delay and negligence. I’ve even attached screenshots showing their 10-day promise, which they’ve clearly failed to honor.
As a paying customer who followed every step, I feel completely let down and ignored. If you’re considering Zoomcar, please be cautious — especially in cases where something goes wrong. You may be left chasing your own money with no help from their end.
Zoomcar needs to take accountability and improve its after-service support drastically. This is not the customer experience anyone deserves.
Unscrupulous Business Practices
Unscrupulous business practices. We rented a 8 passenger vehicle via a 3rd party for Zoom rental car services. The night before we were scheduled to arrive in Orlando, we received an email at 9:53PM CST as follows:
Good evening. This is StarkOne (Zoom) Car Rental. We are contacting you to inform you that, according to our system, your reservation scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday, June 25th, 2025 at 5:00PM, appears as cancelled.
Regrettably, there is little we can do on our end, as we are unable to provide the vehicle without an active reservation. This situation is beyond our control.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding.
Upon contacting the rental agency they could not provide an explanation as to why our reservation was cancelled. Our 3rd party investigated and advised they were notified the vehicle was no longer available due to overbooking. Upon further investigation, they discovered the vehicle was appearing in their portable as available for rent at almost 3 times the rate we were previously quoted.
They are clearly a rental car agency using deceptive/bait and switch practices. I do not recommend using their services or affiliates.

Update!! I was told to leave a positive review in order to get my $500 deposit returned. All a lie.. Do not use this company they will scam you out of your return and damn near force you to purchase their rental insurance along with their tolls. Originally reserved a Toyota Rav 4, was given a story that it was in an accident and I had to get what they had on site which was an old Toyota Corolla. After returning, I had to go through my bank to get my money back. Every time I called, was told the report data system isn’t working and I have to wait until it is back up so I can get it refunded. It took about a month going back n forth so I got my bank to dispute this. PLEASE, Read the reviews before renting from any rental car company especially in Florida. Scammers at its fullest!!
Stay Away from Zoom Car Rental
I made reservations through AARP on June 1, 2025, for a rental car. I was due to pick up vehicle at 5:30 pm on June 1, 2025. I called Zoom at 5:03 pm and was told a driver will call me in a few minutes for pick-up. I never received a call, so I reserved an Uber to take me to Zoom Rental Car. I arrived at 5:23 pm. When I entered the building, I was asked for my driver’s license and credit, which I presented. I was told there would be a $1000 hold on the credit card, which is absurd, but I agreed. Next. I was told I would only receive 350 miles for the 4 days and each additional mile would be .50 cents a mile. I explained that the reservation states unlimited miles. He told me I would have to contact the third party that I reserved with. I said OK. Then he asked if I was getting the insurance. I responded, no I have my own. He asked for my proof of insurance I which I pulled it up on my phone and gave it to him. He viewed and asked to see the policy breakdown. I provided my phone to him again with this information and he stated he couldn’t see it and asked if I could make it bigger. My phone would not allow me to enlarge so I asked if I could e-mail it to him. He said no. I asked if my daughter could take a picture with her phone and see if she could enlarge it. He said no. I would have to purchase their insurance at $50 a day. I said absolutely not when I have my own insurance. I did not get the rental, so I called an Uber to take me back to the airports car rental center and booked at Budget, with no problem. I called AARP for a refund. They contacted Zoom and he told them that I refused to let him take a picture of my insurance card which is a lie. The entire conversation was recorded. He told the representative from AARP that I could not get the refund, and I could pick up the car the following day, June 1, 2025. That was not acceptable, Zoom Rent a Car has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Stay away from this company.

Zoom car is a total fraud company. We recently booked a grandvitara from zoom car for five days in order to plan our vacation. The car handed over to us HR 26FF 4419 of host Jatin was given to zoom car on rented basis. When we were travelling from Uttarakhand to Haryana via express way three people on red breeza stopped us and harassed us as the car given was blacklisted because the owner Jatin has not paid EMI of the car since 6 months and Recovery agents from Mahindra finance are at every toll to catch such cars. It was a mental harassment for us as we were asked to get out of the car immediately on expressway. Despite of writing so many emails to zoom car there is no positive feedback from there side and not even refunding our paid amount. How can they hire such cars whose emi’s are still pending . Whatever happened with us should not happen with others so putting up my experience. Please refrain car bookings from such fraud companies who spoils the trip of people who plan long time ago. Owner Jatin of black grand Vitara is again a big lier and fraud who did not refund us amount of fast tag and petrol. This is recent incident happened on 19th may25.

We booked a car for an important trip, and due to their disorganized service and repeated delays (despite following up with FOUR representatives entire day), we missed our flight.
That’s not all—after the incident, a Zoomcar representative extended my booking without consent, which is highly unethical and possibly fraudulent.
we’ve emailed their grievance officer and raised a formal complaint demanding a full refund and compensation for the missed flight. So far, there’s been no accountability from their side.
we trusted Zoomcar for reliability, but this has been the worst experience with a mobility service—unprofessional, careless, and negligent.
we do not recommend Zoomcar if your time, money, or peace of mind matters to you.

Bad experience with zoom car
This is about our booking for zoom car in Ahmedabad during the weekend.
I had selected home delivery while booking and selected free home delivery coupon code for same but when I finished booking i saw that it showed as self pickup.
I immediately called up the support line , but nothing was done and I was told after I selected the coupon the platform auto disabled the home delivery option - not sure why the platform did this ? With this i didn't get home delivery nor did I get the home delivery coupon discount nor could I apply the 10% discount coupon code.
This is definitely a platform issue and I was told that feedback will be shared with the team. But I am at a loss here due to the zoomcar platform issue and there is no resolution till date. Later I was told that this is not a platform issue also to my surprise.
Mr. Gautam was pretty rude and unable to understand what I was trying to convey nor was he ready to share any escalation matrix or point of contact where my issue can be resolved ASAP. The only thing he provided was a email id and asked me to raise a dispute. I am sure you will have the recording to hear the same.
Also the car was in shabby state .. not at all cleaned , the owner told I'm out of town , car came from some trip hence you get the needful done if you wish or cancel the booking. Sharing the pic as well . I had to pay 300 to a local cleaner to clean up , as I had senior parents travelling with me.
Request your immediate attention here , hope to get some positive closure.

I waited for the shuttle for about 45 minutes, and then an hour in line for the service desk, which was off site, not on the airport premises as I requested during my booking. I then was told I couldn't rent the car although I had purchased insurance through Travelocity. They refuse to give me a refund, as they said the rental was nonrefundable. I wonder how many other people this has happened to. After multiple calls to them, travelocity, and the insurance i paid for, all 3 denied the claim. Don't use this company, as there are no details that state they won't rent you a car based on insurance.

I have given my car for rental thru zoomcar. Car met an accident about 9 months back, Till today zoom car not repaired my car. I have been following with them regualrly but no response till today. do not rent out your car into zoom car. The worst platform.
