Feels Like a Scam!
I downloaded this app hoping to book a taxi, but all the cars were unavailable. Fine, I thought, maybe just bad timing. But then I noticed they had taken £1 from my account for a so-called “card confirmation”—and guess what? I never got it back!
If they’re making £1 per person and 100 people fall for this, that’s £100 straight into their pockets for doing absolutely nothing! Imagine how much they make off thousands of users. It’s shady, disappointing, and feels like a scam. Avoid this app unless you enjoy paying money for literally nothing.

It was the worst experience ever ! I booked a Nissan magnite .there was no help from customer care service.nissan magnite was not there where it should had been .no cancellation options were there! I will just recommend that atleast be honest and pick up phone calls .I will never use zoomcar.

Don't book a car with zoom car. Host never delivered the car and customer service was not able to resolve the issue. Had booked the car a week ago and they could not assign a driver to deliver the car. Pathetic customer experience

Hopeless service. Totally uninsured cars are being given away to drive. They don't even check the current condition of the vehicle being given away. Customer care does not exist only. If you want to raise complaint against the vehicle, you are directed to the owner of the vehicle only.

Very worst service by zoom car team,My Hyundai Grand i10 sportz 1.2L Petrol car was attached in Zoom car as a Host,For the 3rd booking only the car was badly damaged by zoom car guest in karnataka on 7th December 2023 till now i.e 25-12-2024 it was not repaired and not handover to me by zoom car team,the car is still in garage and telling some stories and delaying,rudely talking to the host.They only paid one month down time money out of one year downtime for my car,but they will take 40% share for each booking and insurance amount from the guest and they wont repair the cars on time.my humble request is to don't attach your valuable cars as zoom car host.very very horrible service by zoom car team.Once again guys pls don't attach your cars with Zoom car as a Host.Very fraud company.

My experience with Zoomcar was an absolute disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others about their gross mismanagement and lack of accountability.
I had booked a car in Hyderabad with a pick-up time scheduled after 5 AM. I traveled 20 km to the designated location, only to find that the host was nowhere to be found. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue with Zoomcar’s customer care, all they did was suggest booking another car. To my shock, the next available car was only from 8 AM—too late for my plans—and it came with an additional cost of ₹1500.
Why should I, the customer, bear the cost and time lost due to their incompetence? As someone who traveled all the way from Mumbai, this level of negligence and complete disregard for a customer’s time is unacceptable. Instead of providing a solution, Zoomcar’s team left me stranded, inconvenienced, and frustrated.
This was a clear failure on their part to honor their commitment, and their lack of accountability is appalling. My plans were ruined, my money was wasted, and I was left with no resolution. Zoomcar needs to seriously rethink their operations if they expect to retain any customers. Until then, I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this unreliable service.
I chose the Home Delivery option
I chose the Home Delivery option, and was charged for it, but I was asked to pick up the car myself from 29 km away. I raised 3 tickets with zoomcar help, I was assured that they would revert within 24 hours - but they never got back. Now I cant even find my tickets on their app - they have conveniently deleted them.
The customer service is a Bloody Joke - there is only a chatbot. There is no customer service number that we can use to talk to them. We are redirected to the app, which is totally useless.
Seeing this level of indifference, I doubt if I will use zoomcar service again.
If you want to do business, do it properly. Invest in a customer service team and have a helpline number.
Their breakdown service, and all other things that they claim are all false. Nothing works. They collect the money, pay half to the owner of the car and keep the rest for themselves - for doing absolutely nothing.
AND BY THE WAY - THE FUEL EXPENSES ARE YOUR OWN. ZOOMCAR DOES NOT BEAR THE FUEL EXPENSES. SO DONT GET CONFUSED.

Horrible company. I made an automatic car booking JPSNJ4NMH way advance, and host can just simply cancel the booking. alternatives they gave were manual cars. when I select Automatic cars, I need to pay extra exorbitant amount. RIP OFF. There is no chance to communicate with customer care.
Scam and NO customer support
Failed customer support, Scam hosts, buggy App. The company is a failure as a whole.
My host messaged me to wait and collect the car the next day from him just 30 mins before pick-up. This by itself isn't right since I pay right from the pickup time. Since I booked for 14 days I have no option but to agree. On the next day the host said he is cleaning the car to be picked up. The moment I start to pick up, the host's wife calls and say their aunt passed away and couldn't deliver the car. During all this time I tried reaching out to the customer support with no success. The trip began in the app and I had to initiate delivery. No it's show I picked up and delivered the car the next day. My payment is stuck for a service I didn't use and had a huge inconvenience.

Zoom car is a day light robber. My host Jagabandhu Sahoo in bhubaneswar is a big cheater . The tyres of the car provided to me was in miserable condition and two tyres got burst during my ten days trip. Before changing tyres I took consent of the host ( Jagabandhu Sahoo) but he didn't pay me when I returned the car . As I have to catch the flight I couldn't argue with him and it took me a month to get the attention of Zoom car and they refused to help. So for me it was an additional cost .
Never ever take Zoom car and especially from host Jagabandhu Sahoo who is a liar and big cheater.
Worst experience, will be filing it in the court of justice
The customer started the journey on 20th aug and returned the car on 5th sep around 3:00 in the afternoon in a miserable condition.
The right and the left door of the cars are damaged completely with dents like someone met with an accident. The car strictest has changed completely.
The car has dirt and dust stains all over the car with mud in the car floors.
The car smells like petrol in every corner.
The window of the last seat was broken and the customer has changed it, beacuse there are glasses found in the bottle holder next to the seat also tapes were stuck on the window so that the glass doesn’t falls off. I removed the tapes that were stuck on the car for the mirror to hold it.
The car seat cover are all pale and black in colour.
I have taken pictures and videos of all the damage that is done to the car and have already raised a ticket on the Zoom Car portal on the same day the guest returned the car.
Same request if have submitted from the Guest phone while I went to pick the car durning the checking out time.
I have raise the ticked on 5th Sep at 6:00 pm itself when the guest returned my car but I haven’t heard back on this yet.
I have pending bookings on Zoom car for which I will have to provide my car to the guest.
I received a response from the help support section saying that I will be notified once the ticket has been raised. It’s been 3 days already but I haven’t heard back yet.

Zoomcar spoilled our birthday plan
Its my husband’s birthday & i thought of planning a surprise for him so i booked flight and hotel tickets. Last thing I was planning was hiring a car to make our experience comfortable. So i booked @Zoomcar_India unaware that i cannot book it for someone else. They made me pay the whole amount beforehand and since I was certain about my trip I dint bother about the cancellation policy which only said 50% refund 6 hrs before cancellation. But here comes the interesting part. They make you book the car on @Zoomcar_India without any prior verification and when you book it and think that everything is done from your side, then comes the KYC part. If you dont have a license you will end up wasting your money. I mean this is 2024 where we have a liberty to cancel any booking if you have made a mistake or if you were unaware about the certain things about the portal. I went to the customer support of @Zoomcar_India and there it said you cant book it for someone else. FYI this was not mentioned anywhere on the website apart from the customer support on @Zoomcar_India . When i tried for their customer support number guess what such reputed portal only has robots to answer your queries instantly and you can reach an executive only after 24 hrs. Which is still uncertain. So here i come up with few questions from @zoomcar. Is this your propaganda of taking customers money without verification? Why is this not done before booking the vehicle and paying for it? How does the refund policy works for the customers who has made a booking by mistake? Why is your customer service so poor @Zoomcar_India . Why is this not mentioned on the website that you cannot book it for someone else? They just want to loot the customers. I need answers. And ofcourse my refund as i am raising this about a week in advance of my booking date. @Zoomcar_India The worst part it dint even ask me to sign up and put all my details along with the documents there. They are cheating the car host by the hidden charges and bad service by zoom car... When initial booking was cancelled by the guest, the hidden charges are levied from the car host even it was clearly mentioned as guest pickup. Zoom car is nothing but cheating.
Our new car got stolen
Our car got stolen on oct 23, we have raised multiple IT tickets and contacted service desk number several times but no one responded. We went to office in bangalore so many times no one responded. We are paying EMI monthly, can you please think once how hard to digest these kind of things. am still waiting for my car from past 10months, still no action has been taken.i request you all please don't attach your cars to Zoom.
Recover My Stolen Car

My car was stolen by one of your customers on July 15, 2024. It has been two days since the incident (ticket ID - 2034751 and booking ID - #JPSNJW9WN), and I have not received any updates or progress on recovering my vehicle.
The car was found at two tolls, displaying different number plates: MP09ZT1073 (Original No.) and GJ02DE5490(Fake No.), indicating that the number plate has been changed. We reported this to the police, but no FIR has been filed.
I personally visited the last known location of my car, 100 km away from my drop location, last night, but found nothing.
I urgently need my car back. Please take immediate action to resolve this matter.
