Everything went off exceptionally well. Tour guides and drivers were always on time and very friendly. My entire trip was planned out in a precise manner and all the good people in Peru working or contracted by Yampu made it happen with no problems. I was a little sad to leave and do miss those I spent a good bit of time with. Everyone was so helpful & nice it made it hard to depart. I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation!!

What a wonderful experience! Started when we were met at the airport and transferred to our hotel. Our Yampu tour agent made sure everything was taken care of and then the next day met us and delivered us to the airport where we were met by the guide for our Amazon jungle tour. Every step of the way we were met by friendly, knowledgeable people who took care of us and made traveling in a foreign country not only stress free but fun. Can’t say enough good things about the experience. Thank you so much.

Costa Rica was my second trip with Yampu Tours; a graduation gift for my daughter (and me!). Five years ago I used Yampu for a spectacular trip with MY mom to Peru, Machu Picchu, and Iguazu Falls. The pre-travel communication and assistance (for both trips ) was terrific and put me at ease. Once at our destinations (for both trips) the accommodations, organization of our drivers and tours was amazing. Even when there were small glitches, all was handled professionally and without hesitation by the staff in the locations we were visiting.

Our family of four just returned from a two week excursion in Peru. We travelled to Lima, the Peruvian Rainforest, Cusco, Urubamba, Machu Picchu and Puno/Lake Titicaca. We stayed in five different amazing hotels during our stay. Our tour operator, Yampu Tours did an exceptional job organizing the trip. We had an incredibly knowledgeable guide with us every step of way meeting us at our hotel managing our domestic air, bus and train transportation in Peru. Every guide was extremely knowledgeable about the sites/attractions. At no point did we ever get lost, feel rushed or left to our own devices (we do not speak Spanish... but we tried). This was easily one of the most carefree/safe trips with lots of adventures along the way. Lima is a city full of culinary delights, the biodiversity of the rainforest was incredible and visiting Cusco, the ancient Inca ruins, indigenous cultures of Puno, and Peruvian people in general was a life rewarding experience. I would wholeheartedly and emphatically recommend Yampu Tours (without reservation) for individuals and families alike for any travel considerations to Peru.

Great pre-trip communications and coordination. The trip itself was wonderful as well... activities were perfect mix for the group, with plenty of challenging hikes etc mixed with great scenery, good hotels, and fantastic food.

The preparation, communication, and coordination provided was spot on in helping put us at ease regarding all logistics (airport transfers, hotel pickups, planned events, etc...). The guides and locals which partnered with us every step of the way were truly exceptional, passionate, and engaging individuals.

We just got back from a three week private tour of Ecuador, Peru, and Chile that involved 12 flights, 9 hotels, two trains, and countless buses and trains. Every single aspect of this challenge was executed without a hitch.

To make things even more challenging for them, we have very defined preferences for accommodations and activities. Maggie and Yampu did a fabulous job picking properties that provided us great variety while remaining true to our tastes and tolerances.

Their onsite guides were all very good, too. I look forward to the opportunity to use them again soon!

The trip was well planned and we had a representative assist at every corner. All of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I would recommend Yampu to anyone.

Driver and guide were excellent as I have come to expect from Yampu. Good food and comfortable hotels allows one to concentrate on cultural sites. There is much more than Petra in Jordan. Very interesting "desert castles" and the early Islamic art and byzantine mosaics were fabulous. Highly recommended trip.

I have used yampu a number of times in the past and have always been impressed by their commitment to the client. this starts with the first phone call to arrange the tour and then to the tour directors have always been waiting for us at every turn. their knowledge on the tours has been excellent. We used Yampu last Christmas (2017) for a 2 week trip in Argentina. From the very first email to the follow up after our trip, everything was perfect with Yampu. The hotel selection was matching our needs, the transfers between locations and airports all went very smoothly, the overall trip plan was a good balance of sightseeing, discovery and personal time. The guides were all so friendly and knowledgeable. This was a A+ experience.

As a senior solo traveler detailed planning was needed for two months in
Belize this winter...It took many weeks of co-operative planning with
considerations of preferences and options as well as special needs.
The trip exceeded my expectations and gave me a feeling of freedom and
emersion in a culture proud of their heritage and natural beauty in spite
of limited materialism. I got to snorkel and had one of the best birding
experience in my many years of travel. Hats off to Yampu....
