When made your purchase from Absorb Online Learning you agreed to our terms and conditions. These clearly state that cancellation must be within 14 days of the purchase. You emailed us to cancel after 14 days having made use of both the content and tutor support. You requested the cancellation on the basis that you were not getting help from your tutors. I have reviewed your account. You only contacted one of your tutors. On the occasions you contacted them the tutor responded immediately to your questions and encouraged you to contact them if you needed any further help. Whilst you may wish to cancel, as a company we have overheads which must be covered including payments made to our content authors and tutors. As a customer you cannot expect to use a product without payment.

My tutor told me the incorrect coursework to do. Despite on the website stating the tutors offer help and guidance, mine told me to do work for a course I wasn’t studying.
Obviously with the incorrect coursework I won’t get the grade expected and won’t get into any universities of my choice.
Not to mention the seven hours of writing and reading which was a complete waste of my time
The response I received ‘sorry you feel that way’. Also we can’t give you a refund as we spent time marking your assessments. This did not regard the seven hours of my time I had wasted. Also the ‘marking’ of assessments consists of two sentences of feedback.
Additionally when I asked for my predicted grades in early December I didn’t receive a grade until late January. By this point my first choice university had stopped accepting applications as it was past the deadline.
On a separate note half the videos on the course are no longer uploaded or have been removed.
I’m now battling with this awful company to get a refund after their tutor ruined my academic dreams. Rather than apologise and refund me, they are refusing and causing myself even more stress.
Please do not make the mistake I did and choose somewhere better such as the NEC.
Update: they are trying to sue me for this review after. Also they are lying saying it was impossible to give me a predicted grade. I have the email from Lana stating I am predicted an A. So that is another lie.

We had a change of tutor in December due to a maternity leave. We have never had a problem with this before an we are trying to resolve this with you. As we mentioned in our email, there are still several months before the coursework submission deadline. We have offered to pay for your coursework marking but have nor heard from you as yet.
Having checked our communications with you, you asked about predicted grades on 22/12 at 15.08 and you received a response from the tutor on the same day less than half an hour later. She also sent you 4 updates the next day to which you responded "brilliant". On 27/12 she sent a further update explaining that we send the predicted grade to UCAS. She further update you on 11/1 indicating you needed to do one more paper. You didn't respond and she contacted you two days later. You responded the next day. As yet, you have not submitted the paper and so it was impossible do give a predicted grade.
Our pass rate for A level last year was 84%. There is still plenty of time to rectify this.

We were prepared to refund you and had informed you of that. However, you continued to use the system long after asking for a refund, including using the tutor who does not work for free.
You read our terms and conditions which made clear that this would count as use and you would be liable for the full purchase price. However, we decided to charge you only the actual fees occurred by your use of the course so far. We are still awaiting your reply.
Unfortunately, as you have told your credit card company that you did not receive the course at all, we have to wait up to six weeks now for the outcome of their process before we can consider a refund.
Our courses are expensive to run, partly because we employ high quality professional teachers with exam board experience. . Your use of the course has incurred costs for us that are not recoverable. We do not think it is fair to pass your costs on to other customers.

The terms & conditions around this policy are shown in all our correspondence and you are required to check these when you make your purchase. However, not receiving a response is another matter and we are working hard to improve our response times.

A HUGE Thank You
Well where to start with Absorb. I’m extremely satisfied with their learning platform. My daughter is studying Business and Computer Science and she’s finding the way of learning quite simple yet structured, she is confident enough to sit her IGCSE Business in May 2022 so Absorb are definitely doing something right!
I’d also add that I’ve struggled financially over the past 2 months due to a difference in my circumstances and Absorb have bent over backwards to help me by rearranging payments and direct debits that are more affordable. All this with no interruption to my daughter’s learning whilst we sorted this out.
A huge thank you Absorb and I’ll let you know how her exam goes!! 😊

My daughter is home-schooled, and Absorb have been brilliant, the work is set out clearly and easy to follow, the tutors are amazing, Leander is incredible, my daughter has struggled with chemistry and she has been extremely helpful, I couldn’t have asked for more.

I would definitely recommend doing a course with Absorb, I am currently taking IGCSE Human Biology and am thoroughly enjoying the course. The material is very good and broken down into chunks that are easy to follow, along with the accompanying videos. which are very informative.
Kieran has been very helpful each time I have contacted them for information and they are always quick to respond.
I would definitely recommend doing a course with this company.

Studying with the Internet with them really has another form. It is more beautiful than what you imagine. There are friendly employees who want to support you with everything they can. IGCSE in Computer Science
My son has just started the IGCSE in Computer Science. It was easy to set up and the instructions for how to follow the course were clear. The lessons seem to be well presented and informative - the videos help to enhance the learning. He has connected with his tutor. All seems to be really good so far.

My son studied with Absorb Online Learning and has really enjoyed the experience. He found the flexibility of choosing what days and times to study very useful as he could learn at his own pace. One of the advantages of learning through Absorb Online is that you can keep track of what has been covered and what learning is still outstanding very easily. Our fees are as low as possible because we know how expensive taking a GCSE or A Level can be with tutoring and exam fees. We don't employ sales people, all our advisors are teachers on the courses and we all work remotely, keeping costs down. I have to say Kieran was absolutely fantastic! He explained everything in detail about A Levels and the built in progress tracker which was exactly what I needed for my son given the 2 year commitment.
