I must say that AbsorbOnlineLearning was a truly excellent experience. Having started with them in the Summer of 2020 to study A-Level History with the view to take the exam in the Summer of 2021, I was initially apprehensive about the workload. Despite studying a subject pathway that wasn't offered by them, the History tutor Killian still accommodated me and was willing to mark exam papers and give guidance to particular subjects that he wasn't even meant to teach or mark. Within just 9 months, and lots of hard work and communication with Killian about exam technique, I attained an A* in History. Despite having to sit an Exam prematurely, the guidance and help from Absorb were unmatched, as their organisation and communication skills via email are highly efficient and informative; allowing me to prepare for a difficult paper. Both Killian and Bridgette's availability and guidance were paramount to my success with regards to exam technique, and I thank them both so much for being so helpful and always being willing to pick up the phone or respond to a lengthy email. If you want an organisation that truly engages and cares about its students, then look no further than to going with these people. Their organisation, guidance and genuine care for my grade propelled me towards one the UK's top universities. Provided you work hard and communicate with them effectively, you have the best chance possible of achieving the grade/s you desire.

My son has been studying for the computer science course and is only a month in. So far so good. He is really enjoying the course and is finding it easy to understand and manage, so really pleased with how it's going

Signing up for an iGCSE course was extremely easy, and the monthly payment plan option is useful. I was able to get stuck into my course straight away and there is some good guidance available to support this. Can’t comment on the tutor support yet as haven’t really needed it. But so far everything has been very straightforward and accessible. Will likely use Absorb again following completion of this course.

Absorb Online has really helped my Dister with her GCSE. There is follow up and very good support. I would recommend Absirb for anyone wanting to do a GCSE course oine

IGCSE Double Science,
I have found the course very easy to follow and informative and have enjoyed my course, I haven't experienced any problems with tutors replying to my queries, they have always replied quickly offering any advice needed.
Although Bridgette was not my tutor, she has always been very helpful to me throughout my course and after; including offering to personally invigilate my exam for me if needed, she is a real asset to Absorb Learning .
I Would definitely recommend and use Absorb Learning again in the future.

Really awful experience. Constantly went against their tutor policy in response time. every time they did respond it seemed the tutors were fed up with discussions. Every tutor marked assessment was graded at least two weeks late. The videos were few and far between, and were very hard to follow. I can't imagine passing any exam if I used their help solely; I had to hire a tutor and used other apps. Complete waste of money. The layout of the information and teaching was horrendous, especially when you got to the statistics and mechanics sections of the course

Plenty of assessments to test yourself and I received a lot of support and reassurance in what was a very stressful few months.

I studied two A-levels with absorb online learning - Law and Philosophy.

My experience as a whole was positive, my philosophy tutor, Suzanna, was always incredibly helpful and easy to contact if I ever had any questions. Her lessons were always informative and there was never any gaps in the teaching, similarly the mini assessments after each lesson were relevant and well structured/written. I feel the resources she suggested to me from the very beginning were very beneficial to my learning! I really enjoyed my philosophy course overall and I am happy with my marks!

Bridgette was not a tutor of mine, but if I ever had any queries or concerns, I felt comfortable in contacting her and she was always so polite and extremely helpful and understanding throughout the entirety of my learning. She always got back to me quickly and sorted out any issues swiftly, she’s truly amazing and I am so grateful to have had her throughout my time with absorb.

However, my law A-level I feel was not to the same standards as my philosophy. I found it difficult to get in touch with my tutor and mainly had to go through other people to get in contact with them.
I feel there was gaps in the lessons (resulting in me having to buy two textbooks in order to supplement my learning) as well as this, the mini assessments were not always relevant to what I had just learnt and there were many gaps in these too, as some assessments were missing.
I also had trouble with my tutor in that they did not mark my work within the 10 days after I had submitted it and when asking for a predicted grade to send to my university, they downgraded me by two grades which caused me immense stress, luckily the grade was eventually changed to what it should have been and it didn’t jeopardise my opportunity of getting into my chosen university.

As I was doing two a-levels I was able to compare the standards against each one, so overall I would recommend absorb online learning and definitely philosophy!

I have had a great experience with this company. My son has completed 5 GCSEs with them. I found them to be very reasonably priced in comparison to their competitors and the material and the course was organised really well. The contact and assistance my son received from the tutors was always positive and constructive and they were available to him as much as he needed and were always available for explanations or to clear things up. From my point of view the administration was great. All emails were answered promptly and during the exam cancellation chaos and all the extra work this entailed for them, they continued to go above and beyond to support my son. I really recommend them 100%!

Enjoying get into what I have to do and where everything is as I have never done a on line course before

The absorb learning team are always happy to help and have been so understanding in regards to my current situation. The courses are easy to follow and my daughter is enjoying all four of her subjects. I highly recommend absorb learning to anyone looking to study.

My son is undertaking a number of IGCSEs with Absorb and we have both been really happy with the service received and the help from tutors when my son has needed it. My son has progressed really well and managed to complete 3 of his iGCSEs in just 6 months!

The help and support of Bridgette during the stressful exam period and getting CAGs has been absolutely fantastic. Her emails are calming, reassuring and she has made being a parent of a home ed child much easier. Thank you so so much!

Jakob has 2 iGCSEs to complete and will be sitting his exams in November but our plan is to start him on A-levels in September and we will definitely be using Absorb Online Learning for this.

My daughter has been studying several IGCSE courses with Absorb for the past 8 months, and they have been nothing but patient and very helpful, in particular considering the exams are cancelled this year.

They are bending over backwards to help the students get tutor assessed grades. We made things a little more difficult for them as my daughter chose to study a History depth study which is not actually covered by Absorb (but is an accepted depth study by the exam board), and despite this making things far more awkward for the tutors, they managed to accommodate this. (It wouldn't have been a problem if exams had gone ahead of course, but obviously as we're now in a tutor assessment situation, her chosen depth study threw a spanner in the works.)

Bridgette, one of the tutors we have had the most correspondence with (Head Tutor perhaps, for lack of a better title), couldn't have been more helpful. We're so grateful to her for all her help.

My daughter is currently going through the timed assessments. We were notified well in advance when these would take place, and sent a timetable and clear instructions on how the assessments would take place.

At every step of the way, Absorb have kept us informed, and made us feel secure despite the chaos surrounding exams in these very strange times.

The only tiny hiccup that might be worth mentioning is that there was a missing topic in the History course, but as soon as I brought it to Bridgette's attention, within a matter of an hour or two it was added. The response time was impeccable.

Some of the tutors are quicker to respond than others if you have any course related queries, but given the current circumstances (exam chaos thanks to the pandemic) that's entirely understandable.

The courses are clear to understand, often with accompanying videos to further explain a topic, and at the end of each lesson there are mini quizzes which test your knowledge. At the end of the courses there are tutor marked assessments (exam style papers).

I would definitely recommend Absorb. My daughter will be continuing to study more subjects with them next year.

The GCSE Maths course is excellent. Everything is very clearly explained. It's a great way to build confidence in Maths in your own time if, like me, you were only so-so at it at school.

Absorb Online Learning is great. The team are amazing at helping me with any problems I had. Very helpful. Also very understanding of my situation. The courses are very detailed too.

Unfortunately this is a scam website.When the exams got cancelled I had to enroll into an online course,all rejected me saying it’s too late but absorb allowed and told me to pay now to get a discount which last 24 hours .it’s been 2 months and that timer is still on the website.I wanted to cancel my course after a few weeks but they said I still have to pay 150 pounds,I was gutted but understood.they said they will support me In paying it in an affordable way but never sent me an email.I kept emailing and they still wouldn’t reply.

Everything seems great, easy to enrol, great course content all set out well, all questions answered from tutor and customer services was very fast and professional. Highly reccomended 👌

I would like to thank all the team at Absorb Online learning. My son is currently enrolled on some courses with Absorb. Once he has completed them he will go on to study further courses with them. I have always found the team very helpful with any enquiries that i have.
They are always polite and helpful. The course content for the subjects my son is studying for are excellent.
