The Vancouver boot is the best boot I’ve owned. Warm, waterproof and comfortable. Can spend all day in them at work and for the yard/farm. Fantastic customer service too.

I love my new quebec ankle boots
I love my new quebec ankle boots. I have small but slightly wide feet and at first couldn't find the right fit. However after a quick chat on fb messenger my woes were washed away . I removed the insoles as instructed and 'voila' the PERFECT fit.🪄
Great company and great customer service. It's a YES from me!

Excellent service from this company. I had a quick and thorough response to my question about the boots I wanted to buy. Delivery came in a couple of days. The boots are well made and so comfortable despite me having very awkward feet. I'm extremely pleased with them. Highly recommended.

My boots arrived safely and very quickly after ordering. I loved the fact that Emma emailed to say how grateful she was for the order - really appreciated the personal service (I do appreciate it was a generic email but had the desired effect!) I was a little sceptical ordering without a reference from a friend, but I am delighted with my boots. Perfect fit and I did follow the reviews and size down, which fit like a glove. I don't have a horse or do horse riding, but loved the look and functionality of these boots.

Disgusting customer service
I bought a pair of Graceland long riding boots I'm March 2022. Rode in them until May when my horse went lame. Started her ridden rehab in October 2022 and by February 2023 the panel had torn. Bareback advised out of warranty but acknowledged little ware due to condition of boot but only offered a repair. Repair done and sent back in March 2023. Horse went lame again in April 2023 and hadn't been ridden until September 2023. Boots have done the same again but this time has torn a hole in my saddle (just in the one session). bareback do not care about the boots or damage to the saddle. Avoid this company, customer service is diabolical.

I cannot fault the product but unfortunately the boots were too narrow fit over one of my ankles, to the extent I was unable to actually get them on.
I am really disappointed that this was the case as I really loved the look of the boots.

Fantastic boots and service
I am delighted to write a really positive review. Not only are my boots perfect but the customer service is exemplary. I ordered the Quebec boots but they were big all over and just not right for me. I called to discuss exchanging them for the Chatsworth and the lady could not be more helpful with sizing and the refund. They fit perfectly and look great (well, before they venture out on my next muddy dog walk!)

This company prides itself on good service and gives it. My boots arrived, beautifully packaged, very quickly. I am very pleased with them. They really are like leather wellies, great quality and instantly comfy and just about smart enough to do the supermarket shopping in but definitely "country" wear rather than fashion item.

Yet another fantastic experience with…
Yet another fantastic experience with Bareback Footwear. I had the pleasure of meeting them at a show a few years ago now and have been a loyal customer ever since. Their customer service team is incredibly helpful and friendly, which is a rare find these days!
I should also mention how impressed I am with the quick and easy postage process. It's such a relief to receive my orders safely and ontime. As someone who is not easy to fit, I appreciate that my riding boots are always made to measure. I recently had the opportunity to reorder my second pair over the phone, and the craftsmanship and attention to detail never cease to amaze me. The fit is always perfect!
I do also have a couple of pairs of their amazing country boots. They are perfect for all the walking I do and my stable duties. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but they also provide great support. Plus, they are so versatile for my needs.
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the entire team at Bareback Footwear. Thank you for consistently providing fantastic products and exceptional service!

Section 75 anyone?
I wrote a wonderful review on Google after 2 months of owning my Quebec boots, so beautiful and comfy. Sadly, after less 5 months of wearing them for just 2 hours a day walking my dogs (grass and pavements, not terrain or stables) they started to fall apart. Heel was 40% worn down, splits in the leather next to the sole. Contacted them and they agreed to repair...what an embarrassment. They had superglued (!!!) the splits, which had then started to come apart. No, I'm not joking, I have the photos. They refused to refund me, so I had to pursue a Section 75. They charge £195.00 for these boots, I wouldn't pay £19.50 for them. Plus all the stress of getting them to put it right! Avoid.

Poor customer service
I ordered a pair of boots and the wrong style were sent. The company did rectify this and sent the correct boots, while I returned the incorrect boots. Unfortunately the second pair didn't fit well and had to be returned. Here the problem starts. I returned via royal mail at our local sorting office , using all the correct paperwork. Royal mail appear to have lost the returns ( or my suspicion is that due to the original mix up, somehow they haven't been tracked as being returned to the company). The company are saying I am liable, no flexibility in this, as I unfortunately don't have the tracking number. I have never had a problem with any mail order company in the past. I would avoid, boots are too expensive to take this risk.

After considering for months and…
After considering for months and reading the reviews I bought a pair of bareback boots. What a mistake, all the reviews had been positive so spent the money and they are expensive. Within 10 mins of wearing them they rubbed me that much I had to take them off. I tried wearing them again for the following week, still the same. Their customer services are poor, they didn’t want to know, never again. Don’t waste your hard earnt money.

Really sorry to leave negative feedback i don’t like to!
I took ages deciding wether to buy a pair of Quebec boots as they are quite expensive i needed boots for walking my dog everyday. First off I bought them through Klarna they took the first instalment and the full amount!!! Took 7 days to return it to my account. Not bareback footwear i know. Ordered a 5 im always a 5 struggled to get the boots on, i have small legs but have high foot arches, they are pretty tight across my feet. Took insoles out reluctantly as they are so comfortable, not so comfortable but ok feet had alot of space almost too big. Wore them round the house seemed ok. So braved it and wore them on some dog walks but unfortunately my heels started to rub causing blisters. Then i tried thick socks but cant get the boots on !! Even if i could get them on i dont want to wear thick socks all year round. Bit of a disaster very disappointing after how much I have spent and now cant return them. Maybe my heels will be ok after time but i dont fancy walking for longer hikes in them with my dog! The boots look great and seem well made. Will have to go back to walking boots.

Ordered two pairs of boots. Kept the Alaska storm pair. They are comfortable, warm and look great! Very pleased with them!
I sent back the blue equestrian boots. I really liked them, but I have short legs and they were too long for me! The refund was very prompt.
