After reading about these, I decided to buy a pair, but looked at the sale first - none in my size. I looked then at the seconds, and was happy to find every colour in my size. There’s only a slight ‘wave’ in one part of one boot, so I’m more than happy to get such a good pair of boots at a cheaper price for what is really not noticeable. I went for the brown colour and am very pleased that its a matte leather and quite a muted shade. Typically, it hasn’t rained since I got them, so I don’t know yet about the waterproofing capabilities, but I fully expect this to be as good as the boots themselves.

I bought a pair of Quebec boots. I am a 5 but after reading on the website that the sizing was big I ordered a 4. Still too big I have to wear two pairs of socks. Can’t understand how the sizing can be so off. Struggle to get them on, the back heel part is hard to push your foot over. Blisters galore. Yes they are waterproof so far but for me very uncomfortable.

I purchased a pair of brown Quebec boots and they arrived very promptly and were well packed. The boots are very well made and are extremely comfortable. I have fat calves and find it hard to find comfortable boots for dog walking. These boots are a god send for me. I shall definitely be buying another pair, in another colour when I can afford it, as these boots kept my feet dry and warm and protected my lower legs from mud.

I can't complain about the customer service which has been pretty good, however the Dakota boots, described as "posh wellies" may indeed be "posh" but wellies they are not. Having only worn them mainly in dry weather, find my feet are soaked in damp/wet conditions. Do not waste your money!

Visited the store and we were given a really personal service. This is obviously a family business and they all really care about their products. We were shown all the footwear suitable for our needs and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service and lovely boots which are comfortable, practical and stylish. And we know they wear well as our daughter previously bought a pair and has lived in them for the past two years!

I'm not one for normally writing reviews on clothing or shoes but in this instance I feel I have to.
My beloved 5 year old boots have been absolutely battered. They've been on holiday with me, have walked around more shows than I remember, have been to business meetings, waded through mud, been clubbing, judged in them and although they look 'worn in' now, they scrub up as good as new and feel like slippers. Only the zipper is starting to go (which is likely my fault) but I'm delighted with them and actually prefer them to my Fairfax & Favor boots (shush, don't tell F&F!)

Don't hesitate, buy the boots. Wear them and make memories ✨️ 💕

Bought waterproof boots in Summer, didn't use them until Winter.
Waterproof lining badly designed, after 3 months of wear, zip caught in the lining top and bottom so badly boots now unusable. 6 months 22 days since I bought boots. Company says out of warranty so not interested they assume it was my fault and not their product design. Will never recommend nor buy from them again.

My boots arrived quickly after placing my order. They were beautifully made and packaged in individual soft bags in a sturdy box.
I had ordered my normal size, but they were a bit small, but I had no problem exchanging them, which was easy and quick.
Shortly after wearing them, I got a stain on them, so I contacted Customer services via email and Emma immediately replied and was very understanding, she went above and beyond to help me sort them out.
I would buy another pair of boots from them and recommend them for their excellent quality and after care.

Absolutely delighted with my boots, beautiful made (properly stitched boot, what a joy!), supremely comfortable and I've been earning them since autumn - dog walking for hours, around my small holding, feeding the pigs etc - and they look like they've got years left in them. Far superior to those expensive welly boot brands who's boots fall apart after 6-12 weeks of wear. Would highly recommend bareback footwear and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the market for another pair of boots.

I have bought 2 pairs of boots in the last year. They are very well made, really sturdy and comfy straight out of the box. Any questions you have are answered promptly, and with good knowledge of the products. The delivery is quick and returns are free, which gives you the confidence to buy online. They are expensive, but I have walked miles every day for a year now, so for the durability and quality they are worth it!

This is the second pair of boots i have purchased from barebackfootwear, my first being a suede pair of long boots (lovely)
My walking boots needed replacing so i thought i would buy the Buffalow boots - great choice. Perfect fit to size, felt like slippers from day one. I use them every day walking i have had them six months and they still look perfect. Will be buying another pair to keep in the car!
