Does not meet expectations
Ordered from this company before with no hassle. However I suppose they are a victim of their success. Bought a Father’s Day gift which should have been delivered on 17th, today it is 20th and still not delivered.
When things are time sensitive, I would not order from them again. It is not acceptable to guarantee something then not deliver or if the expectation is not met then providing some form of compensation.
Unfortunately they have lost out more than one present, I would have bought into the Bier Club but decided to wait and because of this I won’t be. Should have gone with Brewdog.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I placed an order for a Fathers Day gift in plenty of time for it to arrive. No item received. When I contacted I got a standard response and eventually a response from customer services advising me to wait a bit longer.....still it did not arrive. Have requested refund, no reply as yet. I would avoid to be honest, even if it isnt an out and out scam, this type of service isnt acceptable in this day and age.

Ruined Father’s Day
Ruined Father’s Day. Promised next day delivery - why offer what you cannot deliver? It is 4 days after I ordered and it’s still not here. DO NOT trust this company with your money, there are a lot of other company’s doing beer gifts at cheaper prices and better service - go with them instead. You have ruined multiple people’s Father’s Day, just to grab their money and run. No reply to any emails (2 sent). I recommend beavertown brewery instead if you are looking for a beer hamper gift set, they delivered next day and for almost half price.
Reported to trading standards, you cannot expect to be successful charging these prices and not even giving customers their product!!! Shocking

Absolutely amazing company and amazing products. I ordered a gift box from this company and it arrived really quick, a few days later another gift box arrived with an apology as they had sent me the wrong order. The first box was fantastic value for money but the second box was even better. Will definitely be ordering future gifts from them . Amazing 5 star service

Slow to arrive but good product
tThey finally delivered my gift to my dad. And refunded the delivery fee. He was very happy and its just a shame they take so long to process and ship. The order arrived about a week after I ordered it. Even though they say guaranteed next day delivery. I think they would do much better if they took that part off their website. As their product is good they just struggle to keep up with demand

shocking company- avoid at all costs....
ordered fathers day present last week, chased to find out when goods would be delivered, no one answers emails of telephone lines. have filled out on line form to again be ignored.
Subscription I signed up to can not be cancelled as the telephone number you have to call to cancel this through doesn't ring!! seems to be a massive scam!!! have now reported them to trading standards to protect others from falling into this scam!!

Father’s Day beer never delivered
Like many of the people leaving reviews from last week I ordered the Father’s Day package on the tueday and paid for next day delivery, it’s currently the following Monday and the beer hasn’t left the bier company. They also relentlessly spam me via text and email even though I’ve asked it to stop.

Next day delivery Father’s Day gift never sent!
Ordered a Father’s Day gift on Monday for next day delivery, £69 gift set so NOT CHEAP (6 days in advance), called them on Friday to be told it was going out that afternoon, it’s now Father’s Day and the order hasn’t left their warehouse. Father’s Day ruined. No communication from them to say there was any delay. I expect a full refund this is not good enough.

As with many others on here. Ordered for father's Day, paid for next day delivery with yodel (on Thursday) and beir company have still not sent the order. I will be buying beer from a shop and exercising a charge back from credit card on this order

rubbish …they redeemed themself slightly
Ordered a Father’s Day gift with Yodel 24 hr delivery on Thursday. As of right now (late Saturday afternoon) it’s still sat with The bier company. Great work! I could have ordered from any other company and could have the gifts waiting. Not you guys though! Wish I’d read the reviews before placing an order. I’ll advise as many people as I possibly can not to use you in future. Beware

Breaching customer rights - data
They won't stop sending me unsolicited text messages! I tried to unsubscribe or even block the number, but the option is just not there. I work in Customer Services and I know that this practice is in breach of customers' rights and GDPR legislation. I just sent an email asking to completely erase my data (my right as per article 17 of GDPR) after trying to unsubscribe and block the number. If I do not get a satisfactory response shortly I will report to ICO. It is completely unacceptable and I would advise anyone to steer clear from this company.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam, DO NOT USE!!! I was gifted one of their advent calendars at Christmas, which was great. Inside that box was a coupon for a free month of their subscription service. Great. I received my free beer, but then was unable to unsubscribe. I contacted customer service, no response. No answer on their phone number. I actually got a new debit card just to block the transactions. Luckily my bank refunded the money that was taken so I was able to get it back. Since then I have started receiving spam texts from them with no number which cannot be blocked. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, SCAM COMPANY.
EDIT: company response reply:
It’s a bit rich to ask me to call your customer service helpline or email you when you know full well that neither of those two channels of communication are monitored. Despicable.

Stop with the spam texts! I wake up every morning with texts from your marketing and about Father’s Day which I do not appreciate.
There should be an option to OPT OUT!

Late and incomplete delivery
Advent calendar was over a week late despite ordering in advance and it was missing all of the snacks. Gutted! Contacted the company several times with no reply and no compensation for the late delivery or missing items. They also sent me a ridiculous number of advertising texts and there is no way of stopping them without blocking the number. I wont be using this company again.
