Purchased a brand new 2021 X3, the car broke same day with some fluid leaking from the engine bay! Dealing with their service is an exercise in frustration, it took 3 hours to get BMW road side assistance to pick up and tow the car back to the dealer.

This bmwusa website and app need major work I registered as a new owner and it’s been giving me issues over a few weeks now I can’t get past the personal information part because the server is messing up it’s too the point I’m like delete my stuff. Already having too many issues with the car and now there website this a waste of my money and time
BMW used to be a great car.
I currently own 5 BMW vehicles and will never own another. These cars used to be made with great attention to detail but in the last 10 years the quality has gone down tremendously. I have a nearly new 740i and it has been in the shop non-stop. Even though I have a warranty, I have to fight to get them to cover items. If you own a BMW without a warranty you need to find a good mechanic and be prepared to spend THOUSANDS.
No considerations
I understand that it is all about sales/business, but I think we should not neglect the human factor. I am almost 80 years diagnosed with Parkinson 14 years ago with the typical symptoms of tremors and very difficult to speak. I was taking Neupro for 2-3 years, which makes me developing a compulsive buying habit, i.e., making quick decisions on the spot. Fortunately, I usually discuss my plans with my family, which typically talk me out of buying.
Around September 7, 2019, I visited Rusnak BMW at Westlake Village, CA, and the salesman attracted my attention when he offered to discount a 2019 M5 from $108.5K to $100K. Before you know, I had signed here and there on a temporary deal to be finalised the next day when I was to bring the title of my trade-in car and check. Of course, the next day, without anybody knowing, I showed up at the dealership and drove the car for 5 minutes for the first time. Enthusiastically, I signed here and there to finalise the lease, which had a $105.5K price than $100K as first promised. Maybe a common sales technique to start the discussion, I am not sure.
The M5 is indeed a great car. Very fast with 0-60" in 3.2 seconds. But being almost 80 years with Parkinson's illness, it is an invitation to have a fatal accident which almost happened a number of times. My family has put restrictions on me in using the car extensively.
One month later, my wife visited the salesman and asked him to consider exchanging the M5 for an X5/X6 SUV that will offer more protection and avoid driving a high-speed car. The salesman consulted with his management, which rejected the idea and offered the option of returning the car at $20K loss.
When I drive the car, I do enjoy its ride, handling, looks, and everything about this car. But this car is not for me. Too dangerous. What the salesman, who has knowledge of Parkinson, should identify the fact that he was dealing with a person with a visible illness and suggest - "Come back tomorrow with your wife". The salesman took advantage of my health situation. I emailed a complaint to BMW USA and have not received a reply yet.

BMW free maintenance is a scam.
I purchased a new BMW X5 on August 9/15 and have been very happy with the vehicle until I went to schedule the last free maintenance visit. As I was not able to schedule the last visit prior to August 9/19 I planned a visit on September 9/19. I was told by Seattle BMW that the maintenance agreement has expired and there was nothing they could do for me. I contacted BMW USA and they basically told me the same thing. As I feel I overpaid because of the maintenance for 4 years I feel entitled to that last maintenance visit. This is a warning to others with a BMW - DO NOT MISS YOUR EXPIRY DATE, as you willl receive nothing. I will not purchase a future BMW given my circumstances. There are plenty of alternatives. I expect many will agree with me that this so called "free" maintenance is a SCAM.
Bought brand new 2019 BMW X3
Bought brand new 2019 BMW X3. Had a very bad experience.Very bad customer service. They gave me a junk piece. Very first day car had 50 miles on it the car broke down I-Drive was not working.Called them they said they will repair this they kept the car for one week. After that car been to 5 times for I-drive issue . They don't really know how to fix it every time they just reprograming it and updating the software. Still have the same issue showed them pictures and videos they are not able to solve. Left the car over there.
