Book Bounty has worked well for me. I write honest reviews, and I've received some good reviews. I write good books so I get good reviews. The only problem is that the reviews don't always show up, but that may be because people don't know how to post them. Generally, I would recommend Book Bounty.

I can't believe how many poor reviews there are for Book Bounty on Trustpilot. I have been with them for nearly six months now, and I've found everything they do to be above board, easy to understand, and helpful. When I've had a problem, Kevin, the owner, always gets back to me the same day, and always resolves it to my satisfaction.

There are other good services out there that are nearly as good as Book Bounty - it's not a zero-sum game - and I belong to one of them. But Book Bounty doesn't offer rewards for honest reviews, and that may be why it shows up in a less flattering light than it should, here. It IS an excellent service.

Very hidden in their fine prints it tells you, you use it on your own risk. But in large letters they tell you, this service is in compliance with the Amazon review policy. Which it isn't because KDP treats this as a review exchange club, no matter how often the owner of BookBounty tells you the opposite. My book was blocked and since it was a book in a series and my main income is from self-publishing, this had a devastating effect on my career. I know many authors who got even blocked entirely, not only a book but their whole account. If you are publishing on KDP, I would not even think of using BookBounty. It is truly dangerous as KDP gets stricter and stricter about flagging review swaps. While I got my money back from BookBounty, it can never compensate me for the real harm done. I cannot use KDP anylonger for any of my cosy mystery series which is a major blow.

Book Bounty is the Best! And Kevin and the staff are always prompt to reply to our questions.

We do get reviews. There are those creeps who give a 3 star to hard-working authors, altho most are 5 stars.

Only problem is Amazon freaks who Delete our 5 stars from customers, and now will be Infiltrating Our Books with AI. And we Can't Opt out.

Scam, took money for months and showed that I was getting reviews but they didnt actually show up on Amazon. Huge scam and fraud. When I asked where my reviews are they blocked my email from contacting them. Took a long time to get 22 reviews and in reality on 2 showed up and I don't even think they're from Book Bounty. Dishonest company and a scam. Wish I never agreed to do business with them.

I’ve worked with Book Bounty and I can honestly say their customer service has been exceptional from start to finish. In a space where timing and clarity matter so much, they’ve consistently delivered both.

Any time I’ve had a question, needed clarification, or requested adjustments, their team responded very quickly and professionally. There was never a long waiting period wondering if someone would get back to me. Their communication is clear, direct, and solution focused. That alone sets them apart from other similar sites I have worked with.

What impressed me most was their commitment to resolution. It wasn’t just a quick reply. It was thoughtful follow through. If I needed something addressed, they handled it efficiently and made sure it was fully resolved. I never felt brushed off or left in limbo.

WARNING: Amazon KDP Blocked My Book Due To This Service

They claim to be "100% Amazon Compliant." Amazon disagrees.

I used Book Bounty for 3 months. Yesterday, Amazon KDP permanently blocked my book for "Review Manipulation" specifically because of the activity from this site.

The reality: Amazon's algorithm flags the Book Bounty "credit/point" system as "non-monetary compensation," which is a violation of KDP Terms. Book Bounty refunded my subscription immediately when challenged, but the damage to my account is done.

If you value your KDP account, do not use this service. It is not safe.

Book Bounty promises a lot and under-delivers. Their website made false claims about the average time it takes for books to be picked up and reviewed. The person who runs the business, Kevin, has no accountability to his customers. He gives vague answers and keeps customers in limbo while he collects their money.

Book Bounty lures people in with a compelling strategy: join as a reader, leave honest reviews on books to rack up points, and then when you publish your book you can use those points to put out "bounties" for readers to leave honest reviews for your book. That strategy sounds great in theory. However, you pay to be a reader, and then you pay more to have a publisher account where you request reviews. Then, your books can sit indefinitely without being read. So it's basically a gamble that strings you along month after month.

I don't recommend this business for a multitude of reasons. In addition to their shady business practices and terrible customer service, it's clear that the people behind this business have integrity issues. They're operating in a gray area where they are sure to be shut down eventually. I'm posting this review so that customers won't lose their money paying for a service that might be shut down before they get any real value from it.

Of the sites that help you get reviews, this one in my experience is the best. I consistently get honest reviews. And so far, every time I asked for help through the chat feature, I receive a response in about 15-30 minutes.

I just read a book and put a positive review on Amazon when Book Bounty sent me a message saying that I am not on the right marketplace and they were removing the points of my account. I was wasting my time and they are not able since the beginning to stop me and ask me to choose another book to read! This is totally unacceptable. Takes a long time to read, to review. I just asked them that I want to immediately delete my account but again apparently is not possible! At least not immediately at the end of the billing plan. I am highly frustrated and very angry. Think twice before putting your book to be reviewed and by the way many times reviews are not positive just be aware of that despite having a very good quality of book. Not only your pay your plan, then you have to read a book before being able to submit your book and sometimes you are waiting a very long time before someone is picking up your book to read. The process is very slow, uncertain and highly disappointing! Don't waste your time and your money!!!

Not worth the money. Some reviews are ok, but the majority are ai generated (even though they say they watch this, they dont as its plainly obvious!). Reviewers just give 3 or four stars even when they post a praising review (to make their multitude of reviews look genuine to amazon i suppose). My book had some lovely genuine reviews, i thought id give book bounty a go and its lowered my 5 star rating and added in a load of non-sensical ai generated reviews or critical reviews which have no reflection on the book itself!! Avoid like the plague if you dont want to ruin your book rating.

I got two reviews for a book that wasn’t mine but Book Bounty said they WOULDN’T take them down. Amazon ignored me too. Do not waste you time and money on this site. SCAM. Also most of the reviews I did get were just AI and I don’t think anyone who reviewed my book actually read it

Reviews are around 90-95% AI, all the exact same length, and all written in the same style. Customers notice them immediately - don't do it, it will tank your sales. Sometimes reviews will copy and paste already existing reviews so you'll have two to three of the exact same reviews on your book. They say they reject reviews that don't meet their guidelines but in reality almost all are automatically approved - AI or otherwise. I requested take downs of the copy and pasted reviews but always refuse saying it breaches Amazon's guidelines (it doesn't, the fraudulent reviews do). Also, the vast majority of the books you have to review to get books are written mostly by AI. AI Books, AI reviews, lots of money for Kevin. If you care about your book, avoid at all costs. The reviews will stay up permanently on Amazon.

My ability to benefit to the degree originally provided has been decimated. The site now threatens you when you download more than three 'free downloads' or 'standard' books to review in a week. This never was an issue before, and amazon never warned me about posting six 'unverified' reviews in a week, because they were low content books like coloring books with less than 200 words. Now, for the same price they always charged, they now restrict how many 'standard' reviews you can do in a week (half to a third), and insist you BUY books on the site and PAY THEM to post a review for that book on amazon, in addition to the monthly fee already being paid, which is now worth HALF of what it was when I signed up. They have totally changed the level of service and provide HALF the opportunity for points to exchange for reviews on my own books than they did when I signed up. It seems like they are just threatening users so they pay for books on their site so they can make more money, but there's no guarantee that this issue they threaten people with is real. Why does amazon care if the book being reviewed was downloaded for free or paid for? Seems like the only one telling amazon that information would be BOOK BOUNTY. So, are they betraying their customers and reporting them to amazon? how would amazon even know?

I used two other review sites before I found Book Bounty, and they for sure stand out above the rest. They monitor their reviews, which I appreciate, and give you back the points when reviewers don't deliver. Kevin goes above and beyond to answer questions and to help you. They're also continuously improving their site, which is major plus for me. Highly recommended.

Five stars are not enough. I'm relatively new to the KDP world and luckily, Book Bounty was the first site I tried for Amazon compliant reviews. I can only say it's a great platform, it's intuitive, fast, simple, clear, and with excellent customer support! Smooth sail.

This has been my first month with Book Bounty after terminating my subscription with another book review company for a terrible experience. I've had contact with both Kevin and Sylvester over the past few days who responded exceptionally fast to my inquiries. Each of them resolved my inquiry in a professional manner shortly after contacting them. I've received several reviews already and am very pleased with Book Bounty's service. They have already won a devoted subscriber.

I've been using Book Bounty since it first launched, and it has been an absolute blessing for my books.

It's my go-to site now for helping me get my books over their first 100 reviews. The customer support has been industry-leading by far, especially compared to some of the other sites like this that are on the market.

I would highly recommend if you're in the self-publishing space.

As a newbie Author, it's important we have a safe and super place to get Book Reviews for our Kids Coloring Books--or any book!

Unfortunately, we have to change the 5 star to a 1 star because they changed to a horrible fascist pmt system that will greatly physically harm people, esp women and children.

As a young-ish Latina, I experienced full-force the prejudice and racism of the Trumpie-infested area in which Book Bounty is headquartered (Decatur, Mississippi). I am the author of three well-regarded mystery/suspense/thrillers. I took a week off from writing to write reviews on Book Bounty, reviewing 9 books I purchased from Amazon. If I do say so myself, they were positive, well-written, and thorough - certainly enough so that Amazon published them and those book writers derived the benefits. However, immediately after I posted my own bounties for the books I've written, Book Bounty began pulling back thousands of the points I had earned. I had spent 17 hours reading the three books and another 2.25 hours writing the reviews for which they denied me my earned points. Because their poorly-written "help" bots initially couldn't locate my clearly-posted reviews (Decatur, Mississippi is not known for the quality of their local school system) and, I strongly suspect, because they see me as an uppity Latina, they immediately pulled my earned points without warning, telling me it was on me to correct their ignorance. Once I'd done that, they begrudgingly restored my points, then blatantly suggested that I leave their membership, using my own unhappiness with their behavior as the excuse - before I received the reviews my earned bounty points had paid for.
