Very patient and helpful team
My experience with BookBlaze has been really positive, mainly because of how patient and understanding their team has been.
I made a couple of mistakes when I first started using the platform (just getting used to how everything works), and instead of immediately penalising anything, they took the time to explain things clearly and give me a chance to correct them. That made a big difference, especially when you're still learning the process.
Their communication has been cooperative throughout... any time I reached out, I received a fair and constructive response rather than a generic reply. It genuinely felt like they wanted to help me improve and use the platform correctly moving forward.
It’s reassuring to know there’s a real team behind the scenes that’s willing to work with you if something goes wrong.
Refreshing to see a platform that does things properly
I’ve been using BookBlaze for a while now and honestly, what I appreciate most is the level of integrity they try to maintain.
In this kind of space it would be very easy for a platform to just look the other way and encourage people to rush through tasks, but BookBlaze seems genuinely focused on making sure reviews are done responsibly and in line with Amazon’s guidelines. That gives me a lot more peace of mind as someone who also wants to protect their account long term.
Overall, a very positive experience so far.

I had an issue on the platform which customer service helped me out with very quickly! I have found the customer service to be good, although be aware that it can take up to 24 hours for you to get a response.

Great service!
Great platform. I love the new additions of reviews on Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, kobo, and Apple books. If you publish wide (like on ingramspark, or D2D), the social proof on these additional sites will be really valuable to you. Have already seen an increase in sales on these platforms in just the first month. Will continue and see how it goes.
The best review platform
I've tried other platforms, and I think Bookblaze is definitely my favourite one. I love the fact that you can get low-content paperback reviews… It was not something I was able to do anywhere else. However, please note that the max price your book can be for this is $9.99.

The owner plays unfair with his users. He is rude and perpetrates hate. If your review does not appear point will be deducted on your account. Reviews given to you by other users that disappear he fails to refund the point. I think he has a personality issue I have no clue. I talked to him and he promised to play fair but he never did. You has also banned my account in the middle of leaving reviews for other users. He has never returned about 40,000 point to my account which translates to about 15-20 reviews.
Well I USED to like Bookblaze - No MORE!
Well I USED to like Bookblaze, but they have gone completely down the toilet and it is now an utter waste of money. I have 3 books in rotation there, none of which has gotten a single review request in WEEKS. I contacted them 2 weeks ago. They said they have a lot of books now but be patient. I wait another week, still nothing. I am now informed they will only show one book until that book gets a request, then they will show a second, but only one at a time. RIDICULOUS. This is brand new. I have cancelled and demanded a refund on the last month (which I will never get). So you pay them, you gather enough points, but they still do not show your books that need reviews. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service. They used to be good, not sure what has happened to them. I have cancelled it.

I joined BookBite six days ago as an independent KDP publisher to promote a title. After initial submission I was asked to provide a recent Amazon review, which I did. Four days later my resubmission remained unapproved despite follow-up emails (I have screenshots). When I next logged in my account was abruptly banned with no explanation or prior warning.
This level of service is unacceptable. Slow responses, opaque decision-making and sudden suspensions destroy trust and waste authors’ time and effort. I asked for clarity and reinstatement and expect a prompt, transparent resolution or a full explanation and refund.
Authors: proceed with caution. BookBite, please contact me immediately to resolve this. I’m happy to share documentation on request.

Since posting the review below, I have been contacted by Bookblaze and I am delighted to see that my faith in Bookblaze is confirmed. The problems I have been experiencing are partly my fault because I am not very IT sophisticated! The Bookblaze representative sent me very specific instructions that I could understand and I have now been able to access the part of the site where I can add the dates of my free download promotion of my book.
Therefore, I want to thank Bookblaze and highly recommend the organisation for managing book reviews very effectively.

I would like to give Bookblaze 5 STARS, because all the reviews I have had for my book have been efficiently handled and there have not been any big issues.
However, I am only giving BookBlaze 2 stars because the website is not very clear when it comes to announcing that I am organising a promotion to download my book for free on KDP. I asked the "helpdesk" how to do it and the answer was totally unclear and after much searching, I still did not find where to announce the dates of the free download.
I am going to do another free download of my book 29 and 30 July 2025, and I am once again stuck, because there is no obvious place to announce this. Perhaps someone can help me find it!
Love-hate relationship
I have a love-hate relationship with this website. In the trial period, I have gotten several reviews on 2 of my books. I also reviewed other people's books and genuinely read every word of them. Several days later, I see my coins supply decreasing, until it eventually fell to negative. The reason was "Discrepancy." Upon contacting support, apparently I cannot use my Kindle Unlimited and post my reviews through it for the Verified Purchase books. However, the prices listed for those books matched the price of Kindle Unlimited, not the paperback version of these books. This was the case with at least 5 books I have reviewed. The Customer Service response I received is that I should have cancelled these tasks upon noticing the price discrepancy. But this recommendation is too late! as I have already fully read those books and invested my time and energy. Also, this shows that when books get approved on this platform, they are not truly cross-checked with the Amazon listing price, which creates this problem. I'm genuinely frustrated as I now have lost over 5000 in coins, for BOOKS I HAVE REALY READ AND REVIEWED!
The "love" part of my relationship with bookblaze is that I like that I can put up my book for paperback purchase, the ability to get video reviews, the ability to choose the marketplace, and the speed with which my books got picked up.
I don't, however, like the request option, the limit of 2 books chosen at a time, and not able to submit the review link after it's live on Amazon (this also resulted in back-and-forth emails for verification and refunding coins). These are simple things that can be easily adjusted on the bookblaze website to improve usability.
Don't waste your money and time
I made a payment for a yearly subscription ($240), and soon I realized there are barely any books to review other than verified purchases. I requested for a refund as that wasn't what I had originally expected, than the customer service simply said "it's over 48 hrs window and they can't refund". They have no desire to make the service better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. didn’t want this subscription. I was buying something on another site and it somehow took my details and charged me. I tried to cancel the so called free trial but no one answers the phone or emails, I’m not even interested in trying to use this site. Scam and waste of money. It was very hard to then work out how to cancel the subscription I did not want. They did not refund me either.

At first it was a surprise that I can't take any books to read before I uploaded my own book and before I provide a link to my review on Amazon. That was a surpise. Secondly, I provided a link for a review and proof that its my account but a day has passed and my account has still not been validated. Customer support on the website doesn't respond at all, no feedback from the service. I have a trial period and part of it is basically being spent on a feedback from the service. So they actually steal your trial period from you. I am already looking for an alternative. At the end of the day - they banned my account due to this review (I edited it just now). Please think twice before using this service.
Poor quality
Zero stars is not possibile unfortunately. Poor quality service and very rude customer service. They put zero effort.

Do the owners of the company not know that their team is terrible at their jobs, or do they just not care? The customer service is so RUDE! I wouldn't use this company just because of that. Hire people that have proper experience or it will cost you more clients!

That makes no sense since I wanted to collect enough coins first before setting a specific date for my free promotion. Just been with them for 2 days and had a horrendous experience.
