We signed up with BookaBuilderUK about a month ago and it’s honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Since joining, we’ve already won two jobs and have another enquiry that’s just been quoted.
The platform has been easy to use, and the leads we’ve received have been genuine and relevant to our trade. It’s really helped get the business in front of new customers and given us opportunities we might not have had otherwise.

Word of warning to any tradesman. DO NOT TRUST THESE CON MERCHANTS!!!
I was contacted many times by a James. He chased and chased me to sign up.
Stated they had lots of work in my area, and just needed someone to take the work on.
I signed up. They took my money. Then told me to download the app. They said they would call back once I’d downloaded the app to explain how to use it. I didn’t hear anything for 4 days. I tried and tried to contact a James who took my money, when another member of their staff called me about some ‘Second interview’. I explained that I was busy at the time they called. Plus I was waiting to speak to James, who was clearly avoiding my calls. Another 2 days passed and I managed to get hold of James, when I rang his number off a friend’s phone. I stated that I wanted my money back. He then tried to explain that I was not entitled to any money back, as there is no cooling off period. Now bear in mind that nearly a week had passed after they took my money, and I’d not heard off James. I’m still without a refund.
This building game is hard enough, without rouges like this stealing your hard earned money. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. STAY WELL CLEAR.

I hired Frank Friend from FF…
I hired Frank Friend from FF Construction Ltd in Bramley to install a fence to properly mark off my boundary due to ongoing issues with nuisance neighbours. Before starting the work, he asked for a £250 bank transfer and said the remaining balance should be paid in cash once the job was completed.
Unfortunately, the work carried out was not what I requested. The fence was built using very cheap materials, looks poorly finished, and he even left around 6 inches of space between the fence and the boundary, which completely defeated the purpose of having it installed.
When I raised my concerns, Frank became argumentative and aggressive, not only towards my neighbours but also towards me. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, he stated he would not return my money and threatened to remove everything he had installed.
To make matters worse, all the construction waste and stones were dumped into my recycling bin. The work also breached what was agreed, as he carried out work I did not ask for.
I contacted Book a Builder about the situation. They asked me to remove my original review and promised they would investigate and get back to me within 24 hours, but I never received any follow-up.
Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

I got what I needed from it, but the prices were highly inflated compared to what local tradesman that we called separately quoted. Despite providing exactly what I wanted and measurements, still had tradesman on this not providing a rough price before coming to view the job

I have had several items sent to me which have been over 100 miles away and then nothing around my area at all. if you want a scam company showing legit then that is book a builder. do not use this for your company you will lose money

Stay well clear if you’re a trade. Typical sales lies just to get your money. I wish I’d looked at these reviews before I handed money over.
Selling their company as the best over the other ones in this trade format stating that the leads are quality and not quantity… absolute rubbish. We complained that after 2 months no leads at all so they started sending a load of rubbish ie handyman jobs an hour away when we told therm we are generally builders and carpenter.. even sending landscapers jobs because we demand our money back. We won’t be leaving it tho. Not only this after 2 days of registration we had a call stating that our account wasn’t set up correctly and tried charging us another £2k. Absolute jokers.

Harry answered my request for someone to replace one pane in double glazing as two windows had water between glass panels
He travelled a distance to my house to take accurate measurements on discussion he contacted me within two days with price for the work I was really happy with the quote and he contacted me again for a suitable date of which I agreed
He arrived promptly and I must say I was extremely happy with the work and his professional manner

I received an email from you telling me within a few days that there was no response., implying that that was the end of it. However a week later I keep getting quotes when I stated in the original add that I had not bought the cooker yet -stating NO for that question.
