I booked a company call The All…
I booked a company call The All Rounders group Mackenzie Brough to remove a load bearing wall between the dining room and kitchen. This jobshould have taken 3 weeks 7 weeks later and several thousands of pounds paid they consistently didn't turn up with every excuse there work was extremely poor and would not have passed building regs I had to employ another company to correct there work and do the job. Please stay clear of these rogue traders. I am now trying to recover some of my money from them. This has left both myself and my partner traumatised.

We’re extremely sorry to hear about the experience you and your partner have described. Concerns involving a load-bearing wall, the standard of structural work, repeated non-attendance and potential non-compliance with building regulations are very serious.
Tradespeople using BookaBuilderUK operate as independent businesses, but we expect them to complete work professionally, safely and in accordance with what has been agreed. Please send our customer service team the job details, quotations, payment records, photographs, messages and any reports from the replacement contractor or building control so that the matter can be investigated fully.
We understand that having to employ another company to correct and complete the work will have caused considerable financial and emotional distress. While we cannot determine liability publicly, we will review the evidence provided and take any appropriate action regarding the tradesperson’s use of our platform.

Our platform connects tradespeople with homeowners actively looking for work to be completed. The number and suitability of opportunities can vary depending on location, trade, selected working areas and homeowner demand, so individual results will differ.
We would like the opportunity to understand what has led to this review. Please contact our customer service team with your business name and account details so we can review your membership, the opportunities made available to you and any conversations with our team.
We take complaints seriously and will investigate any specific concerns raised.

It’s especially pleasing to know that they listened to what you wanted, worked collaboratively with you and completed the job to an excellent standard. Leaving the property spotless is exactly the kind of care and professionalism homeowners should expect. We really appreciate your 10/10 rating.
Terrible company if you’re a tradesman
Terrible company if you’re a tradesman. Promised everything under the sun and once they have your money radio silence. They say money back if it doesn’t work for you but only after a year, my year is now up and haven’t used them once but trying to get through to them to discuss is impossible. Every number I’ve called just rings and rings. I’m so surprised a company is allowed to operate like this without repercussions.

We’re sorry to hear how frustrated you are with your experience. We strongly reject the suggestion that BookaBuilderUK takes payment and then ignores its members, but the difficulty you have described in reaching our team is not the standard we expect.
Membership results can vary depending on trade, location, selected working areas, homeowner demand and how opportunities are followed up. Any refund arrangement is also subject to specific eligibility terms, rather than applying automatically simply because a membership has reached the end of its term.
That said, you should be able to speak to someone about your account and receive a clear response. Please contact our customer service team by email with your business name, registered telephone number and account details so we can review your membership, communication history and any refund terms discussed when you joined.
We take concerns about sales promises and unanswered contact seriously and would like the opportunity to investigate this properly.

We’re sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your experience, but we strongly reject the suggestion that BookaBuilderUK is fraudulent.
The number of available opportunities can vary depending on trade, location, selected working areas and homeowner demand. Membership provides access to opportunities posted through the platform, but it cannot guarantee that a suitable lead or paid job will become available within a specific period.
That said, receiving no relevant opportunities over two months is something we would like to review. Please contact our customer service team with your business name and account details so we can check your trade categories, location settings and account activity, and ensure your membership is configured correctly.
We take complaints seriously and would welcome the opportunity to investigate the specific circumstances behind this review.

We’re sorry to hear that the opportunities you received did not meet your expectations. We take concerns about the authenticity and quality of enquiries seriously, and we have systems in place to identify and remove suspicious activity where it is found.
Homeowners may be contacted by more than one relevant tradesperson, as this allows them to compare availability, experience and quotations. However, we understand how frustrating it can be to reach an enquiry after several others have already made contact.
Please contact our customer service team with your business name and examples of the leads concerned so we can review their activity, investigate anything that appears unusual and check whether your account settings are matching you with the most suitable opportunities.

Andrew was really helpful, reactive, and on time !
The problem I contacted him for turned out to be less straightforward than expected and he stayed longer to do all possible tests/changes to needed and didn’t ask me for more than the price originally offered which was a very fair price already.
Lovely chap too, would recommend

I recently paid £600 to join Bookabuilder on the promise from the sales woman that there were several jobs a day being unanswered due to lack of tradesmen available. I can honestly say it’s been a complete waste of money there are very few leads a month and none of which are worth pricing or outside the area to make it financially viable to even consider. I wanted to share my experience to try to save other trades men and women wasting their time also before you pay the team are available almost on demand but once they received the money they disappear never to be heard from again if you have problems or are not happy.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience has not met the expectations set when you joined.
The number of available opportunities can vary depending on trade, location, working radius and homeowner demand. Membership cannot guarantee a fixed number of leads or that every opportunity will be commercially suitable, but the information provided during the sales process should always be clear and accurate.
We are also concerned by your comments about being unable to reach the team after joining. Members should be able to receive support, raise concerns and have their account settings reviewed when opportunities appear unsuitable or outside their preferred area.
Please contact our customer service team with your business name and account details so we can review the relevant sales call, your selected trades and working areas, the opportunities made available to you and your previous attempts to contact us. We take concerns about sales representations and customer support seriously and would like the opportunity to investigate this properly.
Don’t waste your money it’s a scam
Don’t waste your money. Book a builder is scam . I took a subscription of 478£ a year with unlimited leads. They sent me leads on 1 st day but I couldn’t get reply from any house owner .
Next day someone called me and said you have to upgrade your membership. Until now I have not received any single lead . It’s a totally scam

We’re sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience, but we strongly reject the suggestion that BookaBuilderUK is a scam.
Your membership provides access to available homeowner enquiries, but it cannot guarantee that every homeowner will respond or that every opportunity will result in paid work. Response rates can vary depending on factors such as location, trade, availability and how quickly an enquiry is followed up.
The call you received regarding an upgrade would have related to an additional, optional service. An upgrade is not required for your existing membership to remain active or for you to receive opportunities included within your original package.
However, if you have stopped receiving leads altogether, we would like to review your account settings, trade categories, selected working areas and recent activity. Please contact our customer service team with your business name and account details so we can investigate what has happened and ensure your membership is configured correctly.

SCAM
I strongly advise to stay away before engaging with this company. In my experience, I was contacted frequently and encouraged to purchase either a Lite or Full membership, with assurances of receiving quality leads. Unfortunately, the promised leads and results did not materialise.
Several other tradespeople within my network have reported similar experiences after paying for memberships, only to find that the service did not deliver what was represented during the sales process. This raises serious concerns about the consistency and reliability of the offering.
I would urge fellow tradespeople to carefully research and consider independent feedback before committing financially. I am now starting to pursue legal action against them,
Based on my experience, the service did not provide the value or outcomes that were advertised.
I also find it hard to believe the positive reviews on here are not legitimate as I have spoken with over 5 people who have signed up to this platform after the pushy sales teams catch them out and are in the same situation as my buisness

Antwort von Bookabuilderuk
We’re sorry to hear that you feel your membership did not deliver the value you expected. However, we strongly reject the suggestion that BookaBuilderUK is a scam or that the positive reviews left by other customers are illegitimate.
Membership provides access to homeowner opportunities relevant to the trade categories and working areas selected on an account. The number of available leads and the results achieved can vary depending on location, demand, response times and the services offered, so no specific volume of work or financial return can be guaranteed.
We also take concerns about how a membership was presented during the sales process seriously. Please contact our customer service team with your business name and account details so we can review the relevant call recordings, account activity and opportunities made available to you.
Reviews reflect the individual experiences of the people who submit them, whether positive or negative. We do not dismiss criticism, but we also cannot agree with claims that other customers’ positive experiences are not genuine simply because they differ from your own.
As you have mentioned potential legal action, we are unable to debate the details of your account publicly. We remain willing to review your concerns through the appropriate complaints process and provide a formal response based on the records available.
