Byrna has a hidden no cancellation, no-return policy
The company has a no-return policy, plain and simple. Even when an order is cancelled before they give it to a shipping company. QUOTE "While your cancellation request was sent before the carrier scan later that evening, it was received after the order had already entered the outbound shipping process at the warehouse. " and also:
QUOTE "customer service does not have the ability to reverse or recall orders once they have left warehouse control," So their customer service team cannot walk into their own warehouse and ask their fellow employees to hold an order? Millions of companies do that very thing every day. I was even told by the shipper that Byrna actually delivered the parcel to the shipper after my SECOND cancellation request. I will be happy to provide a detailed timeline. I even offered to ship it back at my expense.

Very stringent return policy of 14 days. Requested to exchange an unused launcher pistol for the orange one. It was an Xmas gift for wife and she wants the orange one instead of black. Was told there is NO exchange policy even if item unused. Poor policy!

The mailing address was incorrect
The mailing address was incorrect, and I notified Byrna about the problem, but they refused to contact shipping and so I had to contact and have the item returned to the shipper and did not receive a refund. So, beware before you place an order, if something goes wrong Byrna will keep your money.

The co2 cartridge is good for 24 hr.so if you want to be prepared you'll have to put a fresh co2 in every day. That total BS. I will try to sell mine. It's not worth the money.

Allison who assisted me is polite and has a real servants attitude and id very knowledgeable. Her response time was terrific. Five stars for her and Byrna.

Terrible quality, awful customer service
Was very excited to receive the product after doing a bunch of research on options. When the launcher arrived, there was a loud rattling noise inside every time you would move it, like a loose piece. Messaged support and after a few days was dismissively told that “this is normal for all firearms and air soft guns”. I beg to differ - a rattling, loose piece inside a conceal carry weapon is certainly not the norm.
Looked it up, many others are experiencing the same problem.
After that first response, support ghosted me entirely, and ignored requests for replacement or refund. Ended up finding the return options on the website myself and will be shipping it back this weekend.
Overall, the build quality is just really bad - cheap plastic, loose parts. Reminds me of my daughter’s $7 nerf gun. No way I’m trusting this to protect anyone in an emergency.
Advice to management: rethink your manufacturing and switch support teams.
Interestingly, I’ve shared this review on their product web page, and of course it didn’t appear.
Very, very disappointing.
Requested a full refund. Will dispute via credit card if not provided.

Great customer service!
Thankfully, I have not had to use the product. But after a false delivery notification by UPS, I believed my package was delivered to the wrong address. Byrna quickly replaced the order. Their customer service is top notch!

I purchased this is a disabled senior citizen. The product worked but not like it’s advertised… I wonder who wrote all these reviews because when mine shoots it’s like a two year old little boy taking a pee like that’s gonna stop someone. I have sent this product back three times and they have returned it taking all of my packing information and letters. I’ve called at least 15 times asking for a return and they just keep sending it back. They could give a shit if someone elderly disabled is not that type of money. They’re scammers and the product I received basically ain’t nothing. Their customer service I’ve called at least 15 times you can’t believe it. I feel like I’m applying for the federal protection agency… They act like the failure of their product is my fault and want me to shoot yeah what’s going on? How can I do that but I’m disabled on my back holding a phone and shooting the gun and videoing it. Do they not get disabilities for seniors? Do not buy this to help an elderly person out especially well with disabilities because they will take your money like a thief in the night.

The launchers are not the only reason Byrna is a great manufacturer - When I had a question regarding their Black Friday promotion, I was able to message them over the chat feature on their website. Byrna's customer service was very prompt and helpful -- Megan was particularly to the point and honorable. On top of this, their product will help me to protect my family and provide us with some fun self defense training. I am so glad I chose to go with their American manufactured Byrna LE launcher, and grateful for the 95 CT kinetic rounds they offered this Black Friday. There is a reason Patriots like Glen Beck support the Byrna Launcher, and I am glad I took his advice to get a Byrna.

The help I received from Megan was outstanding! I received a bottle of the max defense projectiles that contained loose powder in it. Rather than assuming it was inert material, I reached out, sent a picture of it and got confirmation that it was the chemical agent that is used. Megan is getting a replacement sent to me. She was very helpful!
