It was such an easy process to refinance online with the help of our loan broker! We still had immediate and close contact with him, and all paperwork was submitted and finalized electronically. We were able to do this based around our own schedule. This is definitely the way to go!

Michael was out ahead of me the entire way. He was available every time for talk or text and notified me of what I needed to do, at every step, in advance. On top of that he was personable and I enjoyed working with him.

This is our 2nd time doing refi with Tom. Tom is very professional and timely in his responses to any question I have. Sometimes I texted at later than 10pm Pacific times, I would get response back within few minutes which I did not expect. Easy and fast process. Tom texted and/or emailed to notify me of documents needed for refi application and what next steps are. Website is easy to upload documents. We recommend Tom to many co-workers who also did refi process with Tom. Rate is competitive one of the lowest. Best experience so far compared to other companies we have done refi and mortgage loan with in the past.

This was the easiest refinance that i have ever done. the process was streamline with no extra hoops to jump through. Tom was very on point and answered all emails and phone calls quickly. I was looking at a loan through JFQ but a friend of mine referred me to Tom at Cal Loans and I am SO happy he did! I was looking to take advantage of the crazy low rates and refinancing my primary home and taking out some money to do a kitchen remodel, but in addition I also wanted to do a straight re-fi on my 2nd home. I already had started the process with JFQ but when I asked what Cal Loans could do, Tom was so nice and easy and responsive to work with, and the pricing was SO good, I put the loan process with JFQ on hold. Tom not only was nice, easy and responsive, but between the 2 loans I was working he saved me over $8,000 in fees! I promise you I am not exaggerating here! I compared apples to apples and the ironic thing was both JFQ and Cal Loans used the exact same lender! So it was purely because JFQ is huge and has a ton of overheard that their fees were completely jacked up. Mind you...I have a very high FICO score, have a ton of equity in both properties, have lived in the same primary home for over 20 years, and been on the same job for over 10 years, and provided all required docs as quickly as he asked for them...all factors that help me in a loan process. But working with Cal Loans was such a straight forward, no BS process I just had to post this review and share how happy I am. We started this on September 1st, and even with me going back and forth and comparing the 2 options I had on both houses, I signed docs today on September 25th. Tom sent a notary public to my home. FAST! And super smooth. I HIGHLY recommend Cal Loans Direct, Inc.
